My girlfriend and I walked in the restaurant around 12:15pm and were quickly seated at a table. Ordering from the lunch set menu, to start, we had Marinated Salmon and Tuna Tartar. The salmon was an uninspiring smoked salmon salad with a light marinade. The dried tomatoes that came with it were the best part of the dish. The tuna was a more interesting marinated tuna tartar with poached egg, avocado, spinach and a hint of horseradish or wasbi. It tasted quite good but when the tartar was mixed w

My girlfriend and I walked in the restaurant around 12:15pm and were quickly seated at a table. Ordering from the lunch set menu, to start, we had Marinated Salmon and Tuna Tartar. The salmon was an uninspiring smoked salmon salad with a light marinade. The dried tomatoes that came with it were the best part of the dish. The tuna was a more interesting marinated tuna tartar with poached egg, avocado, spinach and a hint of horseradish or wasbi. It tasted quite good but when the tartar was mixed with the spinach it looked like a mess.

Our mains were the wagyu brisket and chicken breast. The brisket was horrible - the thoughest piece of meat that I have been served at a restaurant and definately not brisket. When cut, juices poured out of the beef. It clearly not been rested before serving yet still managed to be lukewarm at best. The chicken breast was much better and drizzled with a creamy bacon sauce. 

Dessert of pandan panna cotta and lychee mouse was unremarkable.

The staff was pleasant and attentive.

Verdict: If you know what your ordering, worth a visit.

Sorry I could only take photo of the main course but this is what I ordered:

1. Mushroom Soup

2. Tuna Steak

3. Earl Grey Tea with teapot

4. Dessert (had to leave before it was served, and the only downfall was that the food was served a little too slow and the waiter got my friend's lunch order wrong)

MUSHROOM SOUP

The mushroom soup was tasty and rich with mushroom flavours, I also loved how it was not prepared with milk or cream but the texture was really creamy and velvety.

TUNA STEAK

I was slightly overwhelmed by the plating and choice of food pairing with this dish, which was a bit towards the fine dining side of things. I particularly loved the runny yolk wual eggs and edible flowers. To the fish itself, it was cook to perfection with centre remaining rare. It was served with a slightly zingy and citrus sauce which elevated the flavours, like playing a mini triumph for me before I head back to work for the rest of the day!

It's the first time we went there. after reading the menu, the monthly exclusive dish is black potatoes salad. With no doubt, I chose it as starter. I thought it's real black potatoes, but the texture was between mashed.potatoes and bread. I liked it with caviar. Then, I had Canadian pork chop for main course. Great place. At first I thought it would be a steakhouse style place but it is actually pretty good. Crab cake salad looked good, the crab cake itself was ok, the salad was very well seasoned and fresh.Salmon for main dish. The dish was decently elegant, salmon perfectly cooked (not dry, not raw, juicy and good texture), served with good tasting vegetables .Dessert is forgettable.$188 for set lunch, service ok, food good, will go again.

I was there for a big birthday party on a weekend, having taking over the whole second floor (3 long tables with 50 people) means the joy of trying almost everything on the menu.
The banquet starts with 3 different snacks to share (all were very decent in size). The “truffle fries” and “Mac and cheese” are executed very nicely (especially considering a big group order). Truffle fries are thinly crusted crispy fries infuse in earthy truffle oil and parmesan cheese, leaving the palate with a strong smoky after-taste;

Moving on to the real menu:
The starters “tuna tartare pair with the thin pizza” is an artwork in both the look and taste”. I love the creativity of this dish, the tuna fish is very well marinated, the extra rice cracker and shallot on the top brings layers to the texture and goes really well with the warm thin pizza bread, ………….. I love this dish and would definitely come back for more (Note: I did come back another time for weekday lunch, but this dish was only offered for dinner menu)

By the time now, we are all pretty full, and I only wanted to take one bite of the dessert – but the moment I tasted it, it’s gone (The sea salt on the side goes so well with the caramel ice cream sandwich) – I love this dessert!

個青口完全唔新鮮!苦的!
個Pork belly 細過一件tiramisu.......不過好脆好好味!

呢度d野食分量好小,應該係佐酒為主!反而下層bar有burger等飽肚野食!所以岩飲野傾計,食晚飯就唔岩啦,我同d姊妹食完要去吉野家隊返個飯先飽.......

終於到了星期五, 今日掛起三號風球, 風雨飄搖的日子, 最好是留係有蓋的地方, 這周吃了太多茶餐, 想吃得好一點, 所以來到Liberty, Liberty一到晚上便企滿老外在外面喝酒, 估不到周五的Lunch都高朋滿座, 環境是不錯的, 但因為table已滿, 只能坐bar檯, 3 人行說話可能困難一點, Lunch set有頭盤, 主菜和甜品及咖啡茶, 店員不夠, 應接不暇, 顯然有點不耐煩, 先端上麵包籃, 好好味的麵包, 有一個是小法包, 外脆內軟, 另一個是圓形的飽中間有一粒焗到溶掉的蒜頭, 很香很鬆軟!頭盤我們每人點了不同的, 可以 share食, 有牛肉他他, 炸蟹餅及野雞肉拼鵝肝, 其中炸蟹餅比較出眾, 外層炸脆了, 有豐富的蟹肉在裡面, 配上一些sour cream及一些甜蕃茄醬汁, 更突出蟹餅的複雜感, 野雞肉拼鵝肝則較為一般, 沒有味道的cold cut 一樣, 有些零碎的pickle和乾果, 不是搭配, 而且沒有野雞和鵝肝的冶味,  牛肉他他都算新鮮主菜的蜆肉扁意粉, 份量很小, 意粉算al dente, 煙韌有彈性, 蜆肉雖然細隻, 但比急凍的鮮甜, 有些巴馬

野雞肉拼鵝肝則較為一般, 沒有味道的cold cut 一樣, 有些零碎的pickle和乾果, 不是搭配, 而且沒有野雞和鵝肝的冶味,  牛肉他他都算新鮮

小丸子愛吃Crab Cake,自然也要一試!
蟹餅炸得金黃,非常脆身,炸粉不過厚
內裡夾雜著蟹肉及爽口的蔬菜,非常鮮味
底部則是帶點辣,用上Tagine做出來的西蘭花碎,軟腍又開胃
同行友人說她的牛肉他他也不錯,下次再來試試

在中環品嘗西餐有很多選擇, 蘭桂坊和Soho區已有多不錯的食店, Landmark附近加上酒店更是名店林立, Exchange Square則比較少人留意, 匆忙的上班一簇只會想起要處理的工作。在下班時經過Liberty Exchange Kitchen & Bar看見很多下班客在此Happy Hour, 筆者和友人也曾經在此把酒當歌, 天南地北; 但沒想過其是一間水準不俗的餐廳。原先想去飲茶, 沒有位, 路經此處, 想起未試過其出品, 就試下。據了解, 此店年輕的行政總廚曾在紐約米芝蓮三星餐廳l內任職, 其出品應有一定的保證。安頓後, 看看menu後點了以下菜色。待者先上麵包, 兩個不同的口味, 圓形是香蒜包, 長形是小Baguette, 同樣熱烘烘的, 筆者和友人同樣認為香蒜包口感及味道較好。前菜筆者點了 Seafood crab cake, 蟹餅炸得脆口, 內裹很多蟹肉, 用科十足, 綠色的醬汁為Wasabi山葵醬汁, 醬汁有少少刺鼻的辣味, 加上蟹肉一起, 有清新的感覺, well done !友人點了Truffle Mushroom Soup, 對西湯情有獨鍾的友人表示有水準

前菜筆者點了 Seafood crab cake, 蟹餅炸得脆口, 內裹很多蟹肉, 用科十足, 綠色的醬汁為Wasabi山葵醬汁, 醬汁有少少刺鼻的辣味, 加上蟹肉一起, 有清新的感覺, well done !

主菜筆者點了Shrimp Linguini, 大蝦水準一般, 食得出是雪蝦, 扁意粉口感彈牙有少許麵粉的香味,但olive oil 下得多了一點, 少油了一點更好。

Latte 看上去外表很不理想, 但入口咖啡濃, 牛奶味也足夠, 不加糖也集香與濃於一身。

最喜歡的是這款菜式, 而且價值不算便宜, 睇得出是細心貨, 絕對抵食不是得個貴字的普通貨色這個會比較失色, 吞食魚他他則比較甜, 單食口感比較單薄,全靠青蘋果的微酸刺激味蕾帶起整道菜,提升口感,但以set lunch而言份量會較少, 一份未必夠飽略為偏咸, 得個靚字比普通燒味係好食, 但又唔需要係中環既餐廳食口感特別,建議不要貪得意灑太多海鹽, 數粒已經很足夠

放工常常經過這裡, 不抽煙的我見到一堆人抽煙吹水, 對這餐廳沒有興趣.  最近GRAPPA 裝修, 朋友要選擇近近地的餐廳, 唯有來這裡一試. 午市套餐包STARTERS, 主菜, 甜品, 餐茶等.  一般午市套餐約$168 - $238; 扒類較貴, $268-$468, 另+ 10%.麵包: 新鮮熱辣, 朋友不夠飽, 後來添加一籃.STARTER朋友選了Liberty Steak Tartare: 牛肉他他肉質鮮嫩,配上松露蛋黃醬, 和流心的鵪鶉旦,味道不俗。我是Seafood Crab Cake:中計,炸的!分咗一半海鮮蟹餅給朋友。MAINSGrilled Pork Loin:豬柳軟綿綿,沾上紅蘿蔔薑汁,仲有豆和萍果沙律,很好吃。Veggie Burger:本來是配薯條的,太熱氣了,我要求轉配沙律,健康些 漢堡包內是松露蛋黃醬汁,蕃茄蓉和大磨菇,顏色和味道同樣一流,是素食之選。Dessert & 餐茶甜品是朱古力一口撻,不太甜。也許是星期五的中午,非常滿座,然而,服務員也常常加水和保持禮貌,值得一讚。

-呢個配料好豐盛,多到"遮"住咗主角 - pork belly
-因為佢同意粉1齊到,食得意粉嚟,呢個就變成室溫
-未能喺第1刻享用
-pork belly唔算好肥,肉鬆,juicy
-仲有咁多材料,又牛油果粒,番茄粒同小醃過嘅椰菜花
-味道豐富,不過始終無咗熱度,很遜色

-又到甜品時間,特別鍾意d即叫即焗嘅甜品
-等咗有20 mins,見到籃madelines賣相好靚,咁都喺值得嘅
-還暖熱,熱氣飄來已聞到檸檬味
-有蛋糕趁熱食,快d啟動
-個邊位脆身,蛋糕鬆化,檸檬味溫和,甜度不高,聞落香蛋味
-上次去同線嘅liberty priviate works都食過佢嘅madelines...........但今次比上次質素好
-beautifully made
-對佢嘅dessert chef有信心,所以共叫咗4個甜品

-叫來這個甜品純粹想見識吓點將cheesecake pan seared到脆身效果
-原來叫喺包住酥皮啫
-cut落去,外表好酥鬆,入口薄身,唔油,酥皮層有質素
-不過裡面嘅芝士蛋糕似喺german cheesecake,帶點粉口感,個人麻麻
-旁邊嘅士多啤梨煮過,當然腍身,帶少甜
-相對哋只喺普通,ok啦

題外話/補充資料: * 祝友人生日快樂 * 餐廳weekend只提供brunch menu...........嚴格嚟講即喺a la carte.............在訂位要求email個brunch menu嚟睇吓............佢都好快手就e到比我............當日由1pm開始慢慢多人...........後來呢層full晒...........上1層無open...........而且仲好多人叫hamburger連薯條添..........下次要試吓喺咪咁gd先

之前去中環士丹頓街的Liberty Private Works吃過一頓飯,感覺非常好,可惜一來訂座有點困難,二來吃頓飯動輒三小時,對時間有限的我們而言,似乎很是奢華。然後,當Liberty Exchange Kitchen & Bar開在交易廣場後,我們馬上對人生又有了新的期望。沒有預先訂位。地下是酒吧,也有BAR FOOD供應,樓上則是較正規的用餐地點。不算是Fining Dinning的格局,地方也不算大,乾淨簡約一覽無遺。由於時間尚早(才六點多),我們算是第一桌吃晚飯的客人。侍應有禮,但未算醒目。那個晚上,在90分鐘內完成了我們覺得完美的一頓晚飯。先來一杯汽酒,吃主菜時則點了紅酒(酒水價正常)。Traditional Bouillabaisse:海鮮湯,湯底看來很清,味道卻出奇地濃。我們對這種對比,完全嘖嘖稱奇。很好喝!Steak Tartare:不算很出眾,但絕對有八十分以上。Flamed Grilled King Prawn & Squid:蝦沒有醃過,有真正的蝦味,感動。魷魚也燒得很好吃。Tamarind Braised Beef Short Rib:這碟東西一端上來,我們

Traditional Bouillabaisse:海鮮湯,湯底看來很清,味道卻出奇地濃。我們對這種對比,完全嘖嘖稱奇。很好喝!
Steak Tartare:不算很出眾,但絕對有八十分以上。
Flamed Grilled King Prawn & Squid:蝦沒有醃過,有真正的蝦味,感動。魷魚也燒得很好吃。
Tamarind Braised Beef Short Rib:這碟東西一端上來,我們馬上慘叫!因為完全沒想過是巨人份量的。這條骨,比想像中好吃!肉有少少連骨,但吃下去,腍且香,應該是招牌菜式來的。誠意推薦這個,真的好吃。

好吃的餐廳,多數再去時,都是面目全非的。希望這間不會,繼續保持水準。
