上桌的時候淋上甜橙酒 點火
周圍的幾桌都哇哇的一起歡呼
甜薄餅比咸味的來的軟厚些 用巧克力醬寫上好友的名字 很貼心的甜蜜感
而芒果味雪芭平衡了巧克力醬和酒的濃香 酸酸甜甜的 午餐吃完也一點不覺得飽滯

The lobster crepe tastes absolutely amazing; The lobster tastes fresh out of the ocean and it was marinated in a scrumptious thick tomato cream sauce, which had the perfect balance of salt and pepper marinated within. I was made to feel very welcome at La Creperie in Causeway Bay.  They have two other restaurents with the same decor and theme in Wan Chai and Sheung Wan.  What most impressed me about this place is that it is authentically FRENCH. The owner, who is a real live frenchman,  was a mind of information about his cooking, ingredients and geography of Brittany which is where everything is imported from (apart from their American eggs).  The decoration has been personally sourced from Brittany as well

The owner, who is a real live frenchman,  was a mind of information about his cooking, ingredients and geography of Brittany which is where everything is imported from (apart from their American eggs).  The decoration has been personally sourced from Brittany as well as the purpose built electric hot plates in the kitchen for the crepes.  

It is a very spacious and clean environment (including the toilets - always important I think).

The services was extremely friendly and relaxed and the food came quite quickly.  Cooking fresh crepes is fast!

The menu has crepes and guillets with traditional fillings from the region on offer as well as other french food such as mussels and fries especially for a Thursday evening meal out.  Go on treat yourself!

I had a savory crepe as a main course and most interestingly it was explained to me that all the savory items are made from buckwheat flour which is gluton free.   This is not done specially for this restuarent it is the traditional way of making crepes in Brittany.  I chose an utterly mouthwateringly delicious filling of smoked salmon with a creamy dill sauce and a beautifully runny egg on top.  Followed by a sweet one (not gluton free) with a topping of stewed apple, you guessed it, from Brittany, and a salted caramel sauce.  To accoampny my food I took advice from the the friendly frenchman and orded the french cider which is servied in a bowl as opposed to a glass, a nice touch.  

Very clean. Roomy for Hk. Well informed waiter jan. Explained the region geography lesson. My knowledge of France poor apart from a holiday once and I had crepes. Buckwheat gluten free. This is normal for the savory choices in France not just this hk branch.

Visited this place with a friend for afternoon tea.  Having been to "La Créperie" before in Wan Chai, I was hoping to grab a tasty crépe that late afternoon.  There was no dissapointment there.  Got in and was seated immediately.  Plenty of seats available, possibly because it was a weekday afternoon or because it's a newly established location.  Got the salted caramel crépe while my friend got a savoury crepe with ham.  The crépes were great and it came with a hot/cold drink at no extra charge.

I was delighted to be able to see the crepes being cooked to perfection on the circular hot plates, typical of the region, and the choice of savoury fillings makes it difficult to find just the right one.  I went for spinach, salmon with a dill sauce and an egg on top, delicious.  Interestingly all the savory crepes are made from buckwheat flour which means it is gluton free.  This very conveniently caters for any one who needs a gluton free diet but in fact this is the traditional flour used in Brittany.

The sweet crepes use white flour and I went for a topping of salted caramel and apples, and yes, you guessed it, the apples were from Brittany.

I will definately be making another trip to Le Creperie, perhaps on a Thursday when  their specila is mussles and fries.  Of course I will be having the Brittany cider again.

The atmosphere is relaxed and it is all very neat, tidy and clean with even the possibility of a romantic corner table for two.

The Hong Kong weather boils me up and I really needed something to cool me down, so Tommi was suggesting that I could try this cider. Ordered this Cidre "Val De Rance" and picked the 5% dry one, made from 100% thick-skinned small apples. Not strong in alcohol (wouldn't mind if it's stronger ;D) but definitely a refreshing cider for summer!

Don't forget to sprinkle the cheese when the soup is hot to have it in a half-melted form. That would be the best to blend the cheese in with the soup to give it the best taste (;

Salade Landaise (pan fried duck liver,duck gizzards and duck confit,pine nuts, tomatoes, asparagus)
I myself don't really like duck liver in general but it didn't taste too greasy as it comes in a salad dish. I couldn't stop eating the duck confit and asparagus though lol so I still enjoyed this. Not a very appetizing twist like other typical salads, but this would be a must-have for foodies who is fond of duck (;

And the galettes were served no later~

La Bigouden (Ham, emmental cheese, sunny egg)
Picked mushrooms from the choice of veggies which spinach, tomato, or onion were also offered.
Breaking the sunny egg gives me a heartache each time (...I'm not joking) but anyway I dipped each slice of galette into it so it's okay haha

I've always like anything that comes with ham and mushrooms, but gotta admit that I prefer this other galette I tried

Desserts can't go wrong with caramel, and this crepe - with salted butter caramel all over it and the caramelized apples, it was no doubt a double-up delight *v*

The salmon were a bit salty but it tasted alright when you eat it with the cheese. We were happy that the salad came with the crepe as well.

We ordered "La Super Complete" as our main. This savory crepe is for cheese lovers as it contains ham and egg as well as three different types of cheese : emmental cheese, camembert cheese and roquefort cheese. We enjoyed tasting the different types of cheese within one dish. The crepe was very crispy and a bit bitter. One of the staff later on explained to us that for the savory crepe, the crepe is supposed to be a bit bitter. I actually didn't really mind the bitter as it tasted well with the cheese.

As for the dessert, we choose our favourite "Le Defi" which is crepe with caramel ice-cream, cooked banana and salted butter caramel. This was our favourite! The crepe was soft to chew and I love the flavour of the cooked banana. The ice-cream was very yummy, there were bit of toffee inside.

The environment of the restaurant was very comfortable. It is a great place to have a chat with your friends. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They will come and explain the menu to you and ask for your opinion regarding the food every now and then. The service was amazing.

I asked for a change in the combination of chocolate and cooked banana to caramel sauce with cooked banana plus extra added caramel ice cream. The crepe had a great aroma and the sweetness was acceptable. For me, I prefer having crepe to galette as I think it is more matching.

I've always been a fan of La Crêperie, often frequenting their wan chai and sheung wan locations for a meal that never disappoints. Their new Causeway Bay location is spacious and stunning.  Menu items included classic savory and sweet crepe dishes and some new items as well.  Dishes arrived very quickly and service was super friendly.  Always a delightful experience!

Heard from a Filipino friend of this place once, I've always wanted to come for their delicious crepes, and finally got a chance to come here for a mael on Saturday. Cozy, small groups friendly and easily accesible. 

We've got a dinner set for 2, and an additional main. Wasn't quite in the mood for alcohol, I've got myself a fresh lemonade, which became one of the best lemonades I had had so far - loved it! 

The appetizer we've got was a fish soup - absolutely fresh and sweet - served with shedded cheese and chrunchy garlic bread cubes. For my own cheese cravings, I've actually added a lot of them, making every spoon so full and creamy.

Coming up next was a pot of clams cooked in sweet apple cider - the Brittany type of course. It's quite a surprise for it maybe the first time I have clams cooked in something other than (the usual and getting-tired-of-it) sake. The sweetness of the apple cider did bring the natural saltiness of the clams to the next level.

We've also got a savory buckwheat crepe with pan fried scallops and mushroom and ham in creamy white sauce. The crepe was hot and crispy. 

And finally, the dish this place is famous for - the sweet crepes. We've got a very classic banana and caramel crepe served with a scoop of Movenpick caramel icecream. I loved the icecream so much :9

It was a lovely experience dining in this restaurant. The environment was relaxing and tranquil. I particularly liked the blue and white stripy sofas. There was an open-kitchen where we could see how the foods were prepared. The waiters and waitresses were also very friendly and gave us suggestions on choosing from the menu, as there were far too many options.

For La Piano, there were smoked salmon, spinach, egg, cream and salad. The pancake itself was perfectly cooked, together with a sunny-side up with a runny york . Although there was a slice of lemon on the side, the galette itself already had a taste of lemon juice, which was very appetizing. The spinach was also a perfect match with the egg white. All these made the galette absolutely delicious.

La Gabier was one of the new options on the menu, there were pan fried lobster meat, fish bisque, homemade tomato sauce, garlic and parsley. This was amazing as the homemade tomato sauce mixed perfectly well with the lobster meat as well as the galette. The dressing on the salad aside was also delicious.

The experience of this was totally different from that of La Piano. For La Piano, it was more like breakfast to me, whereas La Gabier seemed more like a main course to me.

So... coming to desserts. We chose La Plougastel to share, which had fresh strawberries, panna cota ice-cream, and also whipped cream. The ice-cream tasted very special, as you may see in the photo above, there were layers. Together with fresh strawberries, whipped cream and strawberry sauce,  made the crepe absolutely delicious. 
題外話/補充資料: I really have to say, the dessert, La Plougastel, looked beautiful and was so delicious that it made my day wonderful.

i went to the one in wanchai before and it was really nice! decoration is relaxing just know that they got new one in cwb so wanted to explore and it didnt dissapoint me for sure it was always nice crepe ! we had a dinner set, the starter was just too good! salmon with parmesan cheese with that little chewy crepe <3here we go the main crepe, scallop, bacon, mushroom soooooo delicious with that white sauce <3 eveything just perfectand the set only include one sweet crepe, but one doesnt

I was excited when this third branch opened after two successful branches in Hong Kong.Apart from Hong Kong, they also have branches in Shanghai!Since my last visit, there are other dishes as well as crepes.The restaurant was laid out with wooden tables and chairs, lighthouse salt and pepper shakers just like the other branches.It was like walking into a restaurant by the seaside.As they have just opened, there were not many people and gradually the restaurant got busy into the evening.There is

It was like walking into a restaurant by the seaside.

As they have just opened, there were not many people and gradually the restaurant got busy into the evening.
There is a lot of promotion on French food this month because of the LeGourMay so I was able to try some special galettes.

This was a savory galette with duck confit, emmenthal cheese, bell peppers fondue and its piment d'espelette jelly.
The galette was crispy and chewy with evenly sized holes on the surface. The confit was delicious with a hint of sweetness from the bell peppers and there was a hint of spiciness from the chili jelly.
Duck in French is Canard which is why this is called a cannette as it is a galette.

I know there were lots of fancy crepes on the menu but I just wanted something simple so I chose this which just had lemon, butter and sugar.
The crepe was chewy and the lemon juice made me hungry again.
I loved the strong lemon juice taste.
