Whole roasted French baby chicken with cheesy mashed potato and braised green - The best cheesy mashed potato I've ever tried. Very satisfying buttery and cheesy creamy smell/ taste/ texture. Chicken is palm size and just right for two. Crispy roasted skin while retaining the tenderness inside. Highly recommended item. Saffron and tomato risotto with poached boston lobster and mascarpone cheese - Refreshing combination which is not too creamy/ cheesy. Finely cooked risotto, not be too sticky.

成日講隱世,呢度就真係夠哂隱世,近己連拿利,成條街冇乜人經過🤔二百幾食個晏都唔平,但呢間係可以encore嘅餐廳👍🏻👍🏻店名叫得fish & meat,希望有機會再嚟試下食meat😬

同好姊妹慶祝生日,要搵間大家都未試過又又好想試既餐廳先得!我地2個都鍾意魚子,海膽等好rich 既食材,就reach到lee間餐廳有好多人推薦佢既意粉7點左右到達,已經差不多full House (好在有book位姐~)環境好舒服,仲有個露台仔,如果係附近返工,放左工同同事都可以黎lee度happy hour , 鬆口氣吹下水食物幾好,最少您feel到佢係用心煮既,意粉彈牙又夠rich ,海膽好creamy 輕輕鬆鬆又一晚,周圍既客人都滿面笑容的

辛苦左一個星期終於捱到星期五,同事們都想食個好D的LUNCH,聽說環境氣氛都不錯就來了。午餐時間人流不算多,不需要等太耐就可以入座。Starter揀左個沙律,蔬菜之外仲有Parma Ham,幾好食,但如果份量多D就更好啦~Main Clause 揀左Cedar River Prime Hanging Tender, 五成熟肉質唔會靭,調味料亦唔重,食得出肉ge鮮味伴碟薯蓉亦好好食,當然都係果句,份量多D會更好啦......因為唔夠飽,之後嗌左個甜品Pavlova,外觀係咪好特別呢:望落好似碎石上面有粒寶石咁(可能只係我諗得太多)紫色"碎石"有好濃薰衣草味,上面紅色係桃味雪芭,撥開"碎石"入面仲有桃肉架睇落個搭配好似風馬牛不相及,但係食落係好match架!唔係常見的組合,推薦大家一試~Set Lunch $190, 加埋甜品大約$200幾,以Lunch來講唔算平,但食物質素同環境都幾好如果搵日想對自己好D,可以去試下~

The ambience of this restaurant is really nice, I like the theme and staff are welcoming, polite.  Food is good, but they forgot a few things like utensils to eat with and to inform customers the kind of teas they have, which is important! But overall it is good, I enjoyed my dinner, just a suggestion, maybe some soft music would be nice as well :-) thanks

係   你無眼花,我係為咗個 yoghurt 寫一個食評俾 fish & meat  : P

It was a lovely Sunday brunch - a little birthday celebration with my girlfriends : )

Although this is my first visit for brunch, I've been assured that their selection of antipasti buffet, comprising of fresh salad, seafood and pancake station, already worths the visit. 

Oh yes, the salad was so good and heavenly for a veggie lover like me.

I gorged down without pausing to take pictures... yummmm!

My favourite salad of the day was <Cauliflower marinated in coconut curry sauce, with Chickpeas and Mango>. When I returned to the salad bar for the third time (yes, that pretty much sums up my love for veggie!), feeling slightly disappointed at the almost empty bowl of that cauliflower salad... The chef was so friendly  that he offered to present a small bowl of the salad for me separately! (Thank you 
!)

The pancakes were fluffy and flavourful with a generous selection of toppings - no wonder the pancake station was so popular that the waitress almost never had a chance to take a rest from tossing all the pancakes!

The brunch menu offers a pretty wide variety of choices for Mains - from brunch options like <Smoked salmon, avocado with poached egg and frittata> to pasta, and of course, fish <Pan fried Barramundi with Pak-choy and chargrilled Sweet Corn> and meat (some steak which I've mentally filtered out of my mind...haha!).

With a bit of hesitation, I went for <Yoghurt topped with Granola, mixed Berries, sliced Banana and Honey> since I've already tried their Barramundi during restaurant week a month ago. 

At first, I wasn't sure if it was an apt choice for Main at almost 2:30pm on a Sunday. 
Seriously, I was so glad that I went for this unconventional choice!




係,我無叫 fish,亦無叫meat 做 Main course.

Let me make myself vert clear - picture doesn't do this yoghurt justice!
It may look like a bowl of plain yoghurt topped with some fresh fruits with the right amount of granola and honey, such that it's not overly sweet.

淨係睇相   真係睇唔出呢個 yoghurt 有幾咁好味...
睇落好似簡簡單單   自已都可以準備   甜度適中 嘅一碗 yoghurt...

Yes, it was plain yoghurt 
- but it was silky smooth, freshly creamy and naturally melts-in-your-mouth.
Oh.

So.

Good.

My mind went blank - I couldn't think of a better word and just kept saying to my girlfriends, how fresh  it was! 

Everyone who tried a spoonful couldn't help nodding speechlessly in agreement.

It didn't go runny, and stayed flavourful, silky and creamy despite standing in room temperature for quite some time when we were carried away chatting. 

This is probably the best yoghurt I've had in Hong Kong... it's beyond the satisfaction an imported creamy Greek-style yoghurt sold at high-end supermarkets (which are pretty over-priced) could bring. 

Ummm.... I savoured each spoonful despite already feeling more than half full from all the salad.

除咗 新鮮    (只怪我詞窮)
我諗唔到第二個詞典去形容   果種 creaminess...
姊妹們試後   都覺得好味到無語!
而且即使我地顧住傾計   個yoghurt都無變味 或 變稀


All in all, we had such a lovely time! Services were great, the waiters were polite and helpful, and were accommodating to our need for warm water. We chatted all the way till almost 4pm, and the staff did not "usher us" out : )

總括而言,今次個brunch真係值得讚!服務好好,我地傾到差唔多4點   都無被催離座 : P

^ This is the best Lavender flavoured dessert I've ever had. It tastes natural and not soapy : P and goes really well with the pavlova beautifully swirled with that dreamy purple colour, as well as the sorbet (and the poached peach hidden underneath)!

The wooden tables and chairs give a warm ambient to the restaurant. Bar seats and balcony can also be found for different types of customers. Therefore, a range of drinks and monthly special cocktails are also available.

Whole Fresh Burrata

Truth to be told, burrata is my favourite kind of cheese. It's even creamier and softer than mozzarella. The milky light cheese contrasting well with the deep fried cauliflower fitters seasoned with vadouvan spice. 

The almost melting silky gooey and slightly runny cheese balanced off with some fresh veggies like asparagus, green beans, radish.

Soft Duck Egg Ravioli

A giant piece of housemade ravioli using bright yellow eggy pasta, stuffed with a runny duck egg yolk in the middle, subtle earthy truffle ricotta cream, then topped with burnt sage butter to give a hint of smokey flavour.

Mulard Duck Breast

A whole piece of lean duck breast prepared with wild honey which caramelises the surface especially the skin side which has a much stronger taste when compared to the juicy succulent pink meat.

To compliment the tender duck breast, one lighter and one stronger item are put on the same plate, and they are roasted fennel which has a distinctive and almost pungent earthy taste, as well as a nicely seasoned shredded duck leg confit arancini.

Pavlova

Surprises are always left until the last. It's not just a scoop of ruby peach sorbet sitting on a bed of lavender crumbles. Underneath it, there is a poached yellow peach with some delicious fluffy lavender cream. To give an extra bite to this sweet dessert, almond flakes is also mixed in with the pretty purple treats.

另外要咗一個 whole roasted French baby chicken with cheesy mashed potato and braised green. 呢個算係我食過最好食而又最邪惡嘅薯蓉 😍😍😍😍 佢應該加咗好多芝士 同牛油去整,好滑好香。 雖然啲芝士唔會拉到出嚟,但係你feel到每一粒薯蓉都被芝士黏合住,a very satisfying taste & experience. 隻bb chicken好細, 大概只有一隻半手掌大, 但烤得唔錯, 入面嫩滑外面脆,兩個人嘅份量都夠。 另外配菜有 dried apricot and red onion 全部都煮得好入味,overall 好滿意。

P.S. 要提提大家,入口唔係太易搵,從路口面向大廈,要左轉上十幾級樓梯先搵到入口。

gweilo就梗係鐘意食薯仔,佢既薯仔大大件連皮配挪威三文魚碎,又幾正

我就最鐘意個雜茄沙律,有大蕃茄同車厘茄同彩椒,好清新好甜,如果有埋水牛芝士就perfect啦

我都好鐘意個青豆沙律,酸酸地既dressing,幾開胃。

甜蠔細細隻,係法國既Gillardeau,自稱生蠔既Rolls Royce

蠔肉肥美,結實得黎有彈性,口感爽脆鮮甜,蠔味唔重帶淡淡海水味

入口後由鮮入甜,有海水鹹香,富層次感既味道。

gweilo選左smoked salmon with poached egg and avocado salad,流心蛋加埋咸香煙三文魚同飽,一啖超滿足,好creamy幼滑既感覺!

一般食lemon tart都會入口覺得好酸咁,但呢個加左個焦糖面超正,

帶微焦香同甜,配襯小小酸既lemon filling同cream on top,好好味!

blueberry tart我覺得個底硬左d,唔知係雪得硬定點。但個餡係好味,creamy得黎帶微甜藍莓果香,一層一層!

新一年希望餐餐大魚大肉,

訓到自己醒再去嘆brunch!

星期日來到中環既Fish and meat食brunch,餐廳既入口隱秘,有點難找。進入餐廳,裝橫簡約,服務員態度友善,細心為我們講解用餐形色。飲品我們點了Homemade Sicilian Lemonade和Elder flower fizz。紅色的是 Homemade Sicilian Lemonade,甜度適中,帶有百里香的香氣,好味!另一杯是Elder flower fizz,偏甜,味道未見特出。飲管是用紙做的,飲到後段飲管變軟了,有點論盡。個人覺得自助餐區食物款式不少,而且餐是包括甜品的,所以如果胃没有很大,主菜點輕怡的會比較合適,更不用加錢點較晏貴既主菜。因為吃了半飽,再美味的佳餚也要打折了。自助區有三文魚薯仔沙律、蟹肉沙律配麵包、刺身沙律、各款蔬菜沙律、生蠔、凍蝦及青口。蟹肉沙律配麵包-蟹肉鮮甜,加上洋蔥增加味道層次和口感,好好味,食左兩件,正Bay water wild oyster,新鮮有蠔味,口感爽脆。凍蝦味道鮮甜,肉質結實。除了咸點,班戟和野莓乳酪也是任吃的。自助枱上有不同既配料和醬以供選擇,個人最喜歡芒果醬,好好味,又係食左兩件乳酪以密封玻璃瓶承載,一瓶一份,衛

個人覺得自助餐區食物款式不少,而且餐是包括甜品的,所以如果胃没有很大,主菜點輕怡的會比較合適,更不用加錢點較晏貴既主菜。因為吃了半飽,再美味的佳餚也要打折了。

自助區有三文魚薯仔沙律、蟹肉沙律配麵包、刺身沙律、各款蔬菜沙律、生蠔、凍蝦及青口。

主菜方面點了要加150蚊既whole roasted French baby chicken. 不過真係唔建議加錢叫呢個主菜。唔知係咪法國土水好,隻baby chicken 好大隻,一d都唔baby,加上經已食飽左三四成,見到佢都咁大隻,憂心多過開心。賣相呢⋯⋯自己睇,味道不過不失,没有驚喜,雞身較乾

為慶祝朋友生日我們來到了這家餐廳食Sunday Brunch。餐廳名叫Fish & Meat所以其實我都幾期待的。到了餐廳入面環境不錯。但因當天indoor已經無位所以坐係outdoor陽台上。(於是在接下來用餐時由於我們走來走去,陽台門就一直開下關下,其實都好唔方便,影響入indoor拿食物的積極性)而且陽台張凳的設計非常之唔方便,真係一張板凳,試問坐係中間果個點出來呢?起立往後騰空跳嗎?Brunch的 buffet食物選擇唔多,魚類只見到2種,其中一種係薯仔煮三文魚鬆,薯仔同三文魚份量既比例大概係1:9左右,令我有D失望。不過幸好另一種魚(唔知咩魚,望落似油甘魚之類)用青檸汁撈過之後好好食,而且成盤都係魚塊,唔錯除此之外仲有自製yogurt,味道都唔錯雖然比不上出面連鎖cafe賣果D。但勝在可以任攞。而main dish我點了個smoke salmon xxxx 好似都唔錯。個包夠脆,蛋黃煮的剛剛好,有少少lup但又好fluid,三文魚無乜驚喜,不過總體來說幾正~埋單每人430。個人覺得呢個價可以食到更加好的。唉。

TGIF! 工作了一個禮拜最期待就是禮拜五了哈哈,晚上要吃一頓正式一點的晚餐,和好友選了這家在雲咸街上的fish and meat. 餐廳裡面光線比較暗,以簡約木製裝潢為主,有浪漫情調,而且還有室外露台,如果秋天坐在外面吃飯應該很舒服。我之前有來過一次,只記得他們家的cheese cake很好吃。這次來已經換了menu,既然這家餐廳以魚和肉命名我們點了一個rib eye 和 一條barramundi. 頭盤點了soft duck egg raviolo. 上來是一個大扁型的義大利雲吞。中間的陷很香,很重芝士味。外面有鴨蛋黃,我覺得有點偏油不過整體來說味道不錯。主食點了美國 grain fed rib eye. 份量很大,兩個人share剛剛好。我們點了medium rare, 生熟掌握得剛剛好,而且肥瘦均勻,超級超級好吃!旁邊還放了半根豬骨,裡面的豬骨髓很多,非常容易吃,吃完覺得腦袋補充了很多營養(笑)!我們還叫了個薯條,吃牛扒沒有薯條總覺得差了一點什麼。這邊的薯條炸得非常脆,很夠味,但吃多了覺得有點鹹。我們還點了一整條barramundi, 用錫紙包著烤,魚上面放了很多橄欖和配料,很

我之前有來過一次,只記得他們家的cheese cake很好吃。這次來已經換了menu,既然這家餐廳以魚和肉命名我們點了一個rib eye 和 一條barramundi. 頭盤點了soft duck egg raviolo. 上來是一個大扁型的義大利雲吞。中間的陷很香,很重芝士味。外面有鴨蛋黃,我覺得有點偏油不過整體來說味道不錯。

主食點了美國 grain fed rib eye. 份量很大,兩個人share剛剛好。我們點了medium rare, 生熟掌握得剛剛好,而且肥瘦均勻,超級超級好吃!旁邊還放了半根豬骨,裡面的豬骨髓很多,非常容易吃,吃完覺得腦袋補充了很多營養(笑)!我們還叫了個薯條,吃牛扒沒有薯條總覺得差了一點什麼。這邊的薯條炸得非常脆,很夠味,但吃多了覺得有點鹹。

我們還點了一整條barramundi, 用錫紙包著烤,魚上面放了很多橄欖和配料,很可惜的是味道非常不好,我們只吃了兩口就不想再吃了。首先魚肉非常非常惺,而且完全沒有味道,魚肉很淋,就是那股魚腥味已經完全不想再吃,不曉得放了那麼多配料怎麼一點味道都沒有?奉勸大家不要點!!

最後的甜點我們點了dark chocolate fondant with vanilla icecream. 這是心太軟,因為用了黑朱古力而整體不會很甜,流心很濃很香,配上雲尼拿雪糕一冷一熱口感非常好!雪糕的份量有點太少,我們吃了一半的朱古力,雪糕就已經吃完了,如果份量多點會更好!我們兩個人吃大概1300港幣,服務很好,食物味道就比較兩極化,大家在中環可以去試試看!

It was my 2nd time visiting Fish and Meat. Both time are pleasant. I check on the RW menu, price is pretty good deal for the items. Me and other friend both order the tuna as the starter. Usually I don't like the meaty tuna instead of fatty tuna. But this one is super good! Not fishy at all. Sea urchin pasta is great. Must have item! Skirt steak in HK is pretty rare to find. Perfectly good as I order Medium rare. Pistachios foam is sensation! I will definitely come back for more! It was a lovely

It was my 2nd time visiting Fish and Meat. Both time are pleasant.

Skirt steak in HK is pretty rare to find. Perfectly good as I order Medium rare.
