We made a reservation for 1:30pm but weren’t seated until 2:05pm. The staff didn’t seem to care and offered no apologies whatsoever. Why take reservations if you’re not going to honor them for people that actually made the effort to book in advance?!Once inside the restaurant, service was not pleasant or welcoming and we were rushed to order as the kitchen was closing. Throughout the entire meal we felt like we were at the mercy of the wait staff.Food was ok but nothing outstanding. Definitely n

Once inside the restaurant, service was not pleasant or welcoming and we were rushed to order as the kitchen was closing. Throughout the entire meal we felt like we were at the mercy of the wait staff.

Food was ok but nothing outstanding. Definitely not worth the wait or poor service in my opinion.

📌Dessert (Madeleine and dessert of the day)
超推薦大家食!Madeleine新鮮即焗,外層焦化鬆脆,內層滲透着清爽檸檬,蛋香味濃。旁邊是朱古力ganache,柔滑的奶油與調溫後的巧克力配以Madeleine又是另一番風味。而dessert of the day則是White chocolate n raspberry tart😳白朱古力味道濃郁,份量少但好飽肚。

以前食過一次舊舖, 今日去西環就試吓新舖lunch時間有幾張枱但唔知點解叫我坐bar枱, 張枱勁細 (我哋2個人)叫咗2個lunch set 蜆牛魚, 仲有甜品開咗支cider+1杯白酒, 2個人食咗$1000一坐低會比個麵包你食跟住就上蜆, 沙白嚟, 幾好食又大隻牛要加錢, 好似75蚊, 冇問我哋要幾成熟, 不過上嗰陣就話係mediem rare, 好好味魚就成條, 係鹹咗少少, 整體都幾好食食完有個蛋糕, 仲有嚿雪糕服務幾好, 廁所同隔離間餐廳共用, 唔知係咪同一個老細?詳細自己睇相, 下次有晚市可以再去

After the restaurant have been relocated to a new location, the menu doesn’t change much, the food are still great! The server recommended really good red wine to go with the food! We love the food and wine here. The menu is still reasonably priced, they offered free corkage before relocation, however they do charge self bring in wine now. The new place seems to be a little crowded, because the table is really small to fit the food onto the table. Will definitely come back again

Been over a year since my last visit, and while their new venue is a lot more vibrant in colours, I do miss the homey vibes of their previous premise. We went for their lunch menu and here are my favourites:🥩Australian Wagyu M9 150g ~ definitely worth that extra HKD 75!! A bavette steak that was incredibly tender and juicy and a perfect medium rare!! Its beef flavour was very strong too! 🐟Threadfin Saltbaked ~ so incredibly tender and soft, love the mild lemon flavours on parts of the fish and the sauce was delicious too! Would have wished the broccolini on the side were a little bit more cooked through though.

🥘Clams in White Wine, Leeks and Cherry tomatoes ~ the clams were all super meaty and fresh. The soup was definitely the best part though, and absolutely delicious with their warm fluffy sourdough bread!

🥧Freshly baked Madeleines, chocolate mousse ~ hands down the best madeleines I have had to date!! So airy and light with beautifully toasted edges and a lemony flavour. Just looked at how perky their “bellies” are! I loved the chocolate mousse on the side as well, so decadent and rich and delicious both with and without the madeleines!😍

🥧Creme Brûlée ~ just listen to that crisp sound as we cracked apart its beautifully caramelised top. I rarely order creme brûlée and was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed it! That sweet creamy goodness was no joke!

Despite how amazing the food was, I must mention I was a little bothered by their store manager’s poor sense of public health awareness. Her mask was constantly sitting beneath her chin as she served different tables, spoke to various customers at close proximity and even hugged and kissed the cheeks of many of them😭
