Came here twice already for claypot rice.This place seems to be a family-run affair, with booth seating at the side and tables in the middle. Service is okay, the food is fairly efficient though - which is good. There are only 3-4 wait staff at most but this is to be expected.It is on a busy street in Tokwawan where there are a plethora of eateries, so there is plenty of competition.Onto the food. I've only had 2 claypot rices the 2 times I visited - one was lap mei: which is a chinese sausage with preserved meat, but it was chopped into little pieces. This meant that some of it got burnt and although full of flavour, some people may not prefer. It's better to have it sliced or whole, the lap cheung.This time I had an eel, the white eel to be precise. A picture is below.There was a bone in the middle, but the ginger gave it a good taste, although not as flavourful as I like it so had to add extra soy sauce. We had a comfortable meal, in a booth seat and it cost around $55(?). Add $10 for veg and drink, to make it $55 all-in.…查看更多
