My friends took me there a month ago. We were walk-ins, so we ended up waiting for about 30 minutes after everything was settled. This place is limited to 1.5 hours of dining, so reservations are recommended. They've got three dining periods - 6:30 to 8:00, 8:00 to 9:30, and 9:30 to 11:00. The place is quite small, but service is not bad.The food is amazing! They are served by orders, so it would be wise to think ahead. Everything was in healthy portions. I must recommend the clams in wine sauce
The food is amazing! They are served by orders, so it would be wise to think ahead. Everything was in healthy portions. I must recommend the clams in wine sauce/soup. The sashimi were fresh; although my friends had the uni and they said it wasn't as fresh as they've had it previously. The filet steak was tender and juicy. Fried fish sticks were a great snack to go with beer, if that's a drink choice; otherwise, it's still a good twist to snack on now and then. There is one type of beer - I didn't have it. Other drinks include sodas and juices, or tea.
We also had a salad of some kind that had too much mayo for my taste - but it's quite local, so maybe some folks like it that way. The tempura felt too heavy possibly due to our over-consumption on other foods. We didn't order any of the noodles and some other specials because we didn't want to overdo it and some things were out of order.
We even got mochi ice-cream at the end [this wasn't all-you-can-eat,though]! Awesome closing anyhow. We're going again this week, and we plan to do it monthly!
