I am quite sure that most of you have taken MTR or even MTR is the most important public transport in HK. There are often shops that sell food, clothes or even books in MTR station but can you imagine there is even very local shop that sell traditional HK snacks in the MTR station? I am quick lucky that I always pass through 坑口station and get a lot of chance to try and have some hot street food. Snack Express provides a wide range of HK snacks from waffle, fish ball to cheung fan(rice noodle roll). I have already tried its waffle for a few time so this time I decided to try some savoury.
I chose Fishball with Siumai($16) and 2 boxes of cheungfan.
After that, I had one of my cup of "cheung fan". As I was a BIG FANS of sesame sauce(麻醬), I asked the staff to give me more and more!! She was very friendly and kind and add an awful lot and even asked me " is that enough or do you need some more?" I was so PLEASED with the smiling face from the woman serving me, and this demonstrated the Andy Lau's good service attitude.
I haven't had such cheung fan for ages!! It reminds me of those old days when my grandma always buy me cheung fan, beef balls and siu mai from the market in shatin!! No matter the price of food is high or low, there is always a nice story and memory behind it!!
題外話/補充資料:
Never afraid to ask for more sauce because the staff really doesn't mind to give you MORE and MORE!!
