We somehow missed this café the first time we came to Lamma Island. Surely we didn't allow ourselves to miss it again! It was on a Wednesday evening, and we had the luck of being the only two customers in the café which presumably is popular with visitors. We ordered a goatcheese veggie sanga. The sandwich came with a veggie salad and an orange juice (but you could choose your own drink). There was this mystically brown dressing on each table and you can drizzle it on the salad. It was sort of sweet and sour but blended in well with the salad, an assortment of carrot, raisins, lettuce etc. The best thing is the goatcheese, which has a very strong taste to it. I'm guessing people who don't like cheese at all may find it off-putting, but cheeselovers has to try it!
My girlfriend and I spent a relaxed, happy hour here. I found that rabbit food don't necessarily have to tasteless. And this café, one of its kind in Hong Kong, is certainly the place to grab some healthy and tasty veggie food.
