I haven't written a comment for at least three years and I have marked down in my diary I have to write one for this restaurant. It serves HORRIBLE food, and the service is horrible too. I have been to their another branch before (which is closed down now). It was two years ago and the food was good to value but it deteriorates to an extent now which is unacceptable.
Me and my husband waited for 30 minutes for the food we ordered. We had time and were not in a hurry, but the first thing we noticed was the guys handling fish in the middle did not wear mask. That surprised us as it's pretty much a common practice now for these sushi guys to wear mask when handling food. But I was still confident by that time, afterall, the food was great in my memory.
Sushi came one plate after one plate...the seafood including the fishes are all DRIED UP and shrunken. It looks very not fresh. Tasted them...and they are all tasteless except the urchin which tastes awful that my husband spilled it out immediately and returned it to the staff. The rice of the sushi is as worse! They are cold and DRIED UP too! If I have to compare, the quality of the sushi of this restaurant has to be the worst in town. Park n' Shop and that chain store in the KCR is much better...I can't believe it...me and husband kept cursing the food and the restaurant throughout that one hour we eating and when my husband said he was not full at all, I stopped him from spending a further dime on this restaurant because I said I don't want to support a rubbish restaurant.
I sincerely hope this rubbish close down this branch too soon. When I saw tourist coming in, I hoped in my heart that this is not the only meal they have in Hong Kong. This restaurant ruins Hong Kong's name of 'food paradise'. You may as well go to that KCR chain sushi stall for a box of sushi for $30...which is...at least fresh...
