Sourdough Egg Tart $12.5 On Sunday around 16:30 we got sourdough egg tarts freshly baked.  We ate them when we were home quite a while afterwards but they were still warm. The tarts were super crispy with many thin layers of crisps and the egg custard was sweet enough and smelt very nice of egg. We needed to buy 4 in order to get a box for takeaway. At this price it was really worth the wait for such yummy egg tarts!

Today it was the best coz when we bought it around 16:45 on Sunday, we saw a lot of tarts freshly baked. It was super crispy with many thin layers of crisps and the egg custard was sweet enough and smelt very nice of egg. Two of us shared 1.5 in no time. We bought three and they gave us two paper bags and one big paper bag to take them away. Queuing time was around 5 min.

The tarts were not hot nor warm, just at room temperature. The many layers of crisps were very crispy with sufficient smooth custard. Came here last week on Sunday night and there was no egg tart. 同事一早買Bakehouse嘅撻做早餐係咩玩法？「見冇人排隊。」佢咁解釋。Ok，反正有食唔食，下句你駁埋落去啦。本人食嘢冇咁講究，打算凍咗都照樣啪落口（懶都係原因之一）。不過即刻俾人「小」暴殄天物，為咗平息眾怒，死死地氣去焗返熱佢。唔焗由自可，一焗就「焗多個」、「加一」、「唔爭在幫我焗埋」、「反正都係，順便啦唔該」。霎時之間，此起彼落嘅聲音，令我做咗好多人嘅阿四。Sourdough egg tart餅皮唔係牛油皮、唔係酥皮，口感比較近似葡撻；撻心冇一般蛋撻咁實在嘅口感，有少少🤏🏽食芝士撻嗰種軟心質感；味道帶有焦糖味，甜度啱啱好，啱晒我何車（正寫好似係合尺），好難唔好食😋。加上焗返熱之後嗰浸香氣真係會撲鼻，顏色又好睇，五個字：色香味俱全👍🏾。如果個天可以畀個機會我用「色香味俱全👍🏾」去形容一個女優嘅話，我會同大家講三個字，櫻空桃。講返正題：難怪日日咁多人去排隊，亦好佩服佢哋嘅耐性同執著，欽敬欽敬。自問冇咩特別理由都唔會有毅力去排，相信總會畀我遇著唔使排都買到嘅時候，好似今日咁，遇貴人有口福，「多謝大佬。」🙏🏽
