小店既裝潢以淺色柔和色調為主,佈置簡單,頓時覺得可以好好享受brunch 既時間。見到餐牌,二話不說就揀左Avocado Toast,果然整塊麵包塗上一層厚厚既牛油果醬,醬中混合了微辣既調味料,加上有半個切片既牛油果及水波蛋,味道豐富而不膩,係健康之選。另點了Beetroot Risotto,坊間多數用黑松露及芝士烹調,較少見到用紅菜頭汁煮成的意大利飯,因此覺得值得一嚐,果然味道超出預期,每一啖有淡淡既紅菜頭味,沒有飲紅菜汁所彌漫著既草青味/獨特既味,加上少計雞肉,整個感覺剛剛好。飲品方面,我們除點了Flat White, 更點了首次係餐牌見到既Hojicha Latte,兩杯飲品來到的時候先有視覺驚喜。拉花的圖案不是常見的心心或花,而是天鵝圖案,然後呷一口焙茶拿鐵,就出現第二輪的驚喜,焙茶味道香濃,充斥住淡淡碳烤香味。…Read More

難得疫情開始緩和,隨即約朋友聚一聚。繼續搜羅工廈中既特色餐廳,幸好有預先訂座,約7:15去到已經有5-6組客人等緊枱。餐牌內提供既食物選擇唔多,但正正適合有選擇困難症既我。撇眼下見到有牛油果,就二話不說點了慢煮三文魚牛油果🥑丼。幾樣配菜看似簡單平凡,但配上新鮮火龍果、酸酸甜甜既車厘茄、達到水準既温泉蛋、脆口既紫菜,及秘製既醬汁,呢個組合的確係剛剛好,味道頓時昇華了,就算多吃幾件三文魚粒都唔覺得膩。絕對係係健康、開胃既丼飯!…Read More

有水準的情人節晚餐

整個場地於情人節當晚有悉心的佈置,餐廳外有貼滿心心的佈境板讓情侶們影相留念,場內四周擺滿粉紅色的汽球,餐廳特意用不同角度將餐桌及椅子擺放著,儘量提升每一對客人可享有的私隱度。由於我跟另一半對食物的口味類近,我倆很快從餐牌上揀選兩個主菜,分別為龍蝦汁扁意粉及威靈頓牛。最先上場的是南瓜湯及前菜煙三文魚配魚子醬。濃濃的南瓜湯配上少許忌廉,入口更為香滑可。前菜及湯內都有心心的圖案,頗為驚喜,可見設計菜式的人都儘量將此元素放於食物內,符合當晚的主題。前菜後侍應端上氣酒,呷一口後似乎嚐到少許玫瑰的味道,或太少喝氣酒的關係,總覺得叶火道怪怪的,所以選擇放在枱上作為拍照道具而已。意粉內的龍蝦汁味道濃郁,龍蝦的肉質不錯,烹調時間剛好。威靈頓牛需時烹調及涉及多個步驟,上枱後外邊的酥皮依然鬆化,內裡的牛仍能保持約7成熟,絕對不錯。雖然當晚full house,呈上枱的主菜依然熱騰騰,讓食客能夠於最佳的温度下品嚐食物。…Read More

較難於北角區找到有All Day Breakfast 或者食Brunch 的地方,難得於Openrice 見到 Little Town,就二話不說選擇Little Town 歎個早餐。餐廳以火車作為設計主題,收銀處的布局以售票處形式設計,天花吊燈配以火車的車輪,可見花了心思在裝潢方面。由於當日的行程有點倉咄,我倆點了Egg Benedict及火腿奄列餐,飲品為熱即磨咖啡及熱朱古力。Egg Benedict 上的汁所調製出來的味道及蛋的生熟程度剛好,唯火腿奄列有點油。其餘的配菜還可以,但多士上碟時已有點放涼。我的飲品有香濃的朱古力味道,上枱時還有心心的拉花圖案,可惜略嫌飲品不夠熱。…Read More

突然想食中式同好住家既晚餐,好體貼既另一半就提議去觀塘工廈既「新蒸武門」。由於我哋臨時決定,沒有預早訂枱,決定直接上門碰碰運氣。甫踏入門口,只見幾張大枱已坐滿食客,幸好近門口位置有張未有人「佔領」既二人枱,建議預早訂枱會比較安全。打開餐牌及環顧四周枱上的餸菜,終於明白為何大多是6-10人為一組來光顧。我們倆唯有點最想吃、最想試的幾道菜-是日響螺燉湯、土魷蓮藕煎肉餅同籠仔斑頭腩(加炒底)。點菜中途已有侍應送上足料八寶茶,端上傳統黃色茶杯時,更感餐廳負責人對於用具都別有心思。燉湯內既肉、響螺、淮山、杞子等材料清晰可見,呷一口已感受到其鮮甜味,難怪它的湯品頗受歡迎。喜愛煎肉餅既我本來較喜愛以飯一起混合品嚐,皆因肉餅較為油膩,但「新蒸武門」既肉餅既可口,同時可讓人嘴嚼到魷魚粒、蓮藕粒,整個感覺絕不非常油膩,沒有白飯既時候更能嚐到此道菜的真正味道。試完湯及一道菜後,我們開始試試已焗了約半小時的八寶茶,味道清新,飲後令剛才有些膩的感覺完全清空,令人再有清新既口腔嚐嚐最後一道菜。配有炒底既飯滲透著荷葉的香氣及斑腩的少許油脂,頗為香口。另斑頭腩每片的厚薄均勻。對於兩個人來說份量剛好。…Read More

適逢同事於聖誕節前生日,我們特意揀選一個既具節日氣氛,味道及造型比較特別的蛋糕。Caramel goes nut 最終得到最高票數,去提取蛋糕時已經不禁「嘩」一聲,利用透明高身的的盒子裝著附有不少聖誕裝飾的蛋糕。鋪於蛋糕上面的焦糖與小鹿的裝飾頗為合襯。將蛋糕分予同事時,起初以為上面的球狀物是糯米糍,品嚐後才發現是以椰絲舖砌於外面的cake ball,果然夠驚喜!海綿蛋糕內配有香脆可口的果仁,配以特別調製的焦糖,有著微甜而不膩的焦糖味道。整個蛋糕既好看,又美味。想encore 之際,已被同事們鯨吞了。…Read More

「慢煮工業」,不禁令我聯想到是否所有食物都以慢煮作為賣點。一甫進餐廳,已被其工業風的裝潢所吸引,未有理會餐牌上所提供的選擇。另一半好快就提議羊膝,於是我們點了一客羊膝、焗蠔、羽衣甘藍蟹肉沙律同奶油焗薯。沙律菜新鮮、蟹肉份量尚算適中;三隻焗蠔上既芝士份量及調味剛好,加上厚厚既蠔肉,更感滿足;起初以為焗薯係平時慣常所見既potato pocket,實際為將一片片既薯仔堆砌而成,頗有口感;羊膝雖然被放涼了一點點才被品嚐,味道跟肉質不錯,但略嫌羊味不夠濃厚,沾上少許薄荷醬已搶了羊肉本身的味道。對男仔來說,份量相對較少,於是我們後加豬鞍及配料牛油果、煙肉焗薯及甜品煮梨配士多啤梨雪糕。豬鞍煮得頗為出色,入味且肉質不錯;焗薯上加添少許蜜糖已將味道提升不少,油膩感相對被降低。…Read More

雖然晚餐既餐牌上沒有很多的選擇,但每一款食物對我來說都很吸引,令我既選擇困難症迅速浮現出來。點餐後,侍應端上暖暖既麵包,外脆內軟足以形容整個感覺,沾上少許橄欖油及醋已經很美味。然後,到龍蝦湯出場,龍蝦味香濃且突出,絕不欺場。上主菜前,我們品嚐用忌廉汁烹調的青口,這個配搭永遠是最配合的,青口再烹調過程中已充份沾上忌廉汁,每一口都十分滋味。主角上場時,不禁要讚嘆主菜及配菜的外表,酥皮牛柳之酥皮色澤剛好,以金黃的外皮包裹著約7成熟的牛柳,另配菜之薯仔搭由一片片的薯仔堆砌而成。酥皮未有被牛柳的醬汁而變軟身,與牛柳一併品嚐時仍能感受到各自的味道,同時感受到兩者結合時所產生的口感及味道。…Read More

由於某店舖經已滿座,誤打誤撞下就光顧此小店。開始番開餐牌時,侍應就山上前介紹是日的「特別推介」,包括有馬糞海膽、池魚刺身,還提到某些食物可以刺身或天婦羅形式烹調。未拿定主意下,我和男友先細閱餐牌,最後就點了池魚刺身、壽司拼盤及串燒拼盤,曾著「Happy Friday」更叫了清酒。池魚池身頗為新鮮,伴著少許的辛辣明太子及蔥更提升魚的鮮味,果然是令人驚喜的推介。到壽司🍣拼盤上場時,急不及待為它拍照,每件壽司上面都有厚厚且光澤十足的刺身,沾上少許的芥茉及鼓油更為美味。接著,我們再加點蠔、羊架及麻醬烏冬,輕輕煎過的蠔加上秘製醬汁簡直是絕配,同時保留了蠔的鮮味及鎖著原本的汁。烏冬十分彈牙,配上簡單的蟹子及麻醬經以非常足夠!…Read More
