飲茶之事,本是極好的。今日到訪鰂魚涌,興之所致,到上址飲番餐中茶。之後點了三款點心,點知的食物質素甘唔掂。遠年陳皮牛肉球後上。肉球渾圓,色澤暗暗,陳皮香氣聞唔到。入口時,肉質鬆軟,陳皮味不見了。想來所謂"遠年",不過是招牌上幾個墨字,未必真有其事。椰汁柱花糕隨後而至。糕體雪白,面上點綴幾粒枸杞,頗為悅目。椰汁味淡,柱花香更不可尋,唯有甜味突出,使人舌根發膩。XO醬炒腸粉壓軸登場。腸粉油光發亮,醬料均勻裹附,初看頗為可喜。然而入口方知,腸粉軟爛無筋骨,XO醬徒有其名,既無瑤柱香,亦無火腿味,都不知是什麼醬來的。三樣點心下肚,腹中雖飽,心下卻空落落的。飲茶之樂,竟在何處?環顧四周,但見食客們談笑風生,渾然不覺滋味如何。原來飲茶一事,吃的是人聲嘈雜,品的是市井煙火,至於點心好壞,反倒不甚要緊了。…Read More
