一席難求的皇仁書院舊生會中菜部,有幸數次造訪。由從前會員不一定親身出席,到現在必須出席;由從前每圍菜式可以稍作改動,到現在兩圍菜式必須相同。雖然門檻/條件不斷改變,但不變的是,從未讓人失望的食物質素及親切的服務態度,即使每次要提早數月訂坐,仍會令你心甘情願乖乖的等⋯⋯中菜部有提供套餐,但由於每次訂坐都不容易,我們每次都會為自己席身訂造餐單,以求完全符合胃口蟹粉豆腐扒菜心邪惡蟹粉配健康豆腐青菜,濃淡得宜糖桂花餞美國桶蠔炸得香脆而且脹卜卜的桶蠔淋上香香桂花味醬汁翡翠鴛鴦蚌仁珊瑚蚌和貴花蚌非常爽口,配彩椒子薑,味道豐富斑球兩味之花雕蛋白蒸斑球 火候控制適中,蛋白跟魚同樣蒸得滑滑帶花雕香斑球兩味之豉油皇煎焗頭腩 煎封的斑球乾身惹味百花西汁釀油條稍為遜色的一道,個人口味覺得酸甜汁始終跟排骨才是perfect match佛跳牆霸氣原盅佛跳牆,一上枱不禁令全場嘩嘩聲矜貴材料份量十足,鮑魚、魚翅、火瞳、老雞、冬菇⋯⋯燉足火候,味美程度相信不用多說砵酒牛尾牛尾腍滑,再配上蒜蓉包,誓要你連汁都撈埋潮式芋頭炒飯熱辣辣乾身即炒上枱,大家雖然已經吃得飽飽,仍忍不住先試兩啖再把吃淨的打包腰果露湯圓腰果露又香又滑,芝麻湯圓細細粒,但餡料十足…Read More

打算到大館遊覽,見館內有新餐廳提供中式Weekend Brunch,訂了坐一試。Brunch包無限添飲無酒精飲品,主要有冷泡茶、汽水及有氣礦泉水,任飲餐酒需另加錢。我們一家老小六人沒有酒癮,卻遇上餐廳冷泡茶壞機🙄幸好Brunch設自助餐區,提供豆漿粢飯,不致只喝水。餐廳服務員表現頗細心,見同行小朋友愛吃粢飯的油炸鬼,主動拿出一整碟。到點餐時,即使點餐紙上寫著"每款點心兩件",而我們只填"1",他們仍會提供六件確保人人有份。咸點整體味道尚算不俗,特別推薦煨麵及川汁炒蝦球,煨麵麵質滑溜,蝦球爽口帶微微川辣。甜品當中,反而西式戚風蛋糕最好吃,鬆軟且甜度適中雖然餐廳賣點為天然食材,盡力遠離防腐劑及添加劑,蔬菜八成為有機種植,但早午餐價錢偏貴,總算靠環境服務搭夠…Read More

之前在泰國吃過Mango Tree,印象麻麻。當友人提議到Element Mango Tree 下午茶,也有想過拒絕,但友人對香港Mango Tree讚口不絶,最終被游說成功,而且改變了我對Mango Tree既印象靚景落地大玻璃窗跟一般High Tea無異,食物卻有必於傳統High Tea。此Tea set全為泰式食品,我們選了"鹹點+甜點"的set,菜式都是大路泰國菜,例如柚子沙律、米紙卷、香芒糯米飯,但全部變成迷你版,正好滿足樣樣都想食,而又食量不大的女生需求,份量剛剛好。環境舒適,食物美味,確實是Tea一Tea既好選擇…Read More

兩個人星期五晚在尖沙咀心血來潮想打邊爐,未有預先訂坐又不想等位是比較麻煩。頭號目標,不設任點,限120分鐘交枱,感覺會不夠滿足,所以放棄,另覓目標。見101手工涮涮鍋是semi-buffet形式,限時又略為長少少,最終決定選它。前菜、一般火鍋配料及飲品無限添加。二人可選一款湯底及一款肉類。我們選了卜卜蜆鍋及牛頸脊肥牛片。可能因為我們沒有先吃完所有湯底的蜆便急不及待滾其他火鍋配料,大部份蜆肉滾至離殼縮小,撈得返黎食既冇幾多。打邊爐必食響鈴及炸魚皮不設無限添加特選手工拼盤配料甚有特式,例如有墨魚汁鳥結糖,啱哂鍾意試新野既朋友。由於時間所限,而火鍋又不能吃太快,最終K.O.全部指定主菜都差不多夠時間收枱,趕上甜品了。整體來說不過不失,沒有太大驚喜。…Read More

忽然想念大班樓美食,立刻致電訂位。幸運地未滿坐,不致待上好幾天才能滿足味蕾行政午餐能同時滿足不同願望,可選三道菜或四道菜,五至六人同行已能品嚐餐牌中大部份出名菜式先來每人一碗靚湯,材料火喉十足再到前菜,子薑皮蛋,子薑辣味適中,皮蛋溏心,全不苦澀九層塔辣椒膏炒蜆,辣味混合九層塔香,好辣之人表示停唔到口,但同行怕辣之人就嫌太辣七味香脆羊肚菌,上菜時仍然微溫,炸得非常鬆脆龍井菊花煙薰乳鴿,紅燒和滷水外的好選擇,乳鴿嫩滑入味帶茶薰香到主菜上場,雞油花鵰蒸花蟹配陳村粉,大班樓最出名的菜式,即使不太好吃蟹,只吃索汁的爽滑陳村粉以值回票價,雞油香,配花雕酒香,配蟹甜味,加起來是一絕胡椒清湯牛坑腩,牛坑腩淋滑咸檸檬牛頸脊蒸豆腐生炒骨,看似每間粵菜必備的普通料,煮得好吃的卻不多,大班樓的,酸甜恰當,收汁乾淨龍井煙薰米鴨配黑糖羅望子醬同行所有人對每道菜都非常滿意,個個酒足飯飽,仍敵不過侍應推介杞子雪糕。果然雪糕奶香非常是日午餐所有菜式都令人回味,下次再訪或許也不用等太久了!…Read More
