昨晚與師母慶祝生日, 師父提議去甘飯館, 便叫我這個做徒弟的去訂位, 這間食肆會於飯聚前一晚打電話給我confirm booking, 值得一讚。進入店內, 地方不大, 裝潢不奢華(我唔記得影相),目測只有約十張枱, 我選了在角落的位置坐下, 一來方便看車,另一方面傾計也不太擾民。我們一行四人, 點了4餸1飯1湯, 待應服務一流, 沒水沒茶會自動波幫你添, 見到你個骨碟有骨,又會立刻過黎換,這個也是抵讚的。入戲肉, 講下我地尋晚食左乜餸先:(1) 迷你佛跳牆由於Chloe妹我是小鳥胃, 師母剛大病完唔敢太補,結果只點了兩客, 師父和老公大人一人一盎,我地兩個女人仔就淺嘗一下,個湯足料,無味精,真材實料。(2) 金牌燒鵝這裡的招牌燒鵝,我們又點會錯過, 點了半隻, 皮脆, 肉不"鞋", 最驚喜是鵝件入口時肉還是暖的,最美中不足的是沒有荔枝柴火香。(3) 陳皮骨由於師父好鍾意陳皮香,小妹亦柯打了這個陳皮骨, 陳皮味好香,但我個人覺得偏甜了些許。(4) 鮑魚雞煲由於小妹是雞精(勁鍾意食雞),便點了這味菜, 這雞"獲"氣十足, 一上桌,口水便流出來了,鮑魚唔"un",整體來說是好味的,但不驚艷。(5) 竹笙扒上蔬點了這麼多肉食,當然要點一個蔬菜啦,這個扒上蔬嘅蔬菜是可以自己選的,我地今次選擇咗豆苗,平時出街食呢個餸唔係太鹹就係太淡, 這個卻拿捏得剛剛好。(6) 荷葉飯本來師父想點鵝汁炒飯,但師母一句鵝汁好毒架, 咁我就點了這個荷葉飯, 炒得乾身,好好味,值得一試。以上就係我地尋晚嘅晚餐喇,埋單$17xx。…Read More

用心來烹調的平民餐廳,卻吃到了扒房的味道!

東大街是我同老公成日去開餐的地方,貪嗰度方便泊車,最近開左一間新餐廳,抱住一試無妨的心態入去,點知有驚喜,我身為標準吃貨,又因胃部手術而變咗小鳥胃,呢間餐廳令我地一星期去左兩次,實在有其魅力。第一次去係上星期三,咁啱同朋友兩公婆約好食飯,四個人一坐低,侍應態度親切,拎住4杯用唔同顏色杯裝嘅水俾我地,預防我地飲錯水杯,杯水飲左一半到,就會自動同我地加水,用餐其間收碟都算快,細心留意客人舉動但又唔會令你尷尬或覺得煩擾,值得加分。這次我地3個set dinner,2份西冷3成熟,1份肉眼7成熟,在另外叫咗1份香辣糯米釀雞翼。湯+前菜一放低已跟眼前一亮,用心嘅配搭,湯濃而不稠,配一塊蒜蓉法包,前菜嘅沙律用了紫椰菜、粟米、青瓜和車厘茄,選料新鮮,上菜速度一點也不慢,牛扒熟成度控制得好好,3成熟嘅牛扒,碟上冇血水滲出,非常juicy,7成熟嘅肉眼亦唔鞋口,連拌碟嘅蔬菜都有用心思,有茄子、翠肉瓜、車厘茄和生菜,絕對唔係平民扒房常用嘅三色豆,另外小吃嘅拌碟,是加了黑醋嘅生菜,解決咗糯米雞翼嘅油膩感,值得一讚。咁嘅質素,收費卻異同公道,上述晚餐只係600幾蚊。今晚只有我同老公兩個人幫襯,待應妹妹今日向我地推介了大廚special,牛肩胛扒配岩鹽,這個set亦不過是$148,平民嘅收費,扒房嘅味道,直心推薦一下。…Read More
