住左幾日瑪嘉烈,食醫院飯食到個人頺頹地,一出院唔食滿漢全席,都起碼食返個正正常常既茶記。人生路不熟,沿馬路行落來行行下,見到有舊式屋村,即刻衝入去搵食。下午茶時間見到呢間,好多街坊食緊,就入左去食。嗌左個公司三文治,味道普通,不過幾足料,都食得飽。見其他食客嗌果啲野食賣相都好普通,所以都無再encore。不過亮點來了,嗌左杯凍奶茶,好飲都痴線,好有舊式冰室既茶香,甜度適中,即刻嗌多杯!雖然個個食既野都唔同,但目測絕大多數人都係飲奶茶,睇來有啲料到。見凍既都咁好飲,於是又再嗌多杯茶走……一個字: 精彩!我好少寫食評,但我咁大個仔都係第一次一餐飲3杯奶茶,然後仲想再飲 (可惜已經飽到上心口,飲唔落)。一定會再來!…Read More

 呢期唔知搞乜,個個同事都鍾意fine dining,我呢個食開茶記既大鄉里,食個韓式都牙痛咁聲,梗係俾佢地恥笑啦。我份人又無乜所謂既,不過睇佢地啲相,賣相又幾唔錯,於是有啲心郁,但又唔捨得食,結果……竟然有同事用我個名book左呢間餐廳 (噴)"放心啦!好好食架。" 如果唔係見啱啱出糧,我真係淆淆地。去到餐廳,嘩,幾grand喎,心諗係咪要打返條tie先准入去。入到去坐底左,見個個又紅酒又白酒……死啦,識條鐵咩,望住個餐牌,完全無頭緒,仲好期待希望有一頁會出現"炒粉麵餐"。個waiter終於走埋來開口問,我有啲唔好意思,細細聲喺佢耳邊講: "其實我第一次fine dining,咩都唔識,不如……你幫我揸主意……" 佢對住我冷笑左聲,然後走開左,喂哥仔,咁即係點呀?隔左一陣,開始有野食,首先來左客包,好鬆軟,個牛油又幾特別喎,好香好濃味,仲想問佢喺邊間超市入貨,佢就主動話,係自家製黑松露牛油。嘩,好彩無開口問。之後來左個帶子芝麻沙律,從來無諗過帶子可以夾芝麻醬食,帶子好鮮味,同芝麻醬出奇地夾。跟手來左隻太平洋生蠔,完全有種喺海邊邊捉邊生食既新鮮味!可惜唔係食放題,如果唔係我肯定會寫個"50"落去。之後來左個石鍋,咦,唔通係韓式石鍋飯?大鄉里果然係大鄉里,原來,入面係煲湯,紅色喎,咁大煲羅宋湯?"呢個係龍蝦湯,用左原隻龍蝦頭去淆幾個鐘,所以好濃味。" 我都忍晤住要恥笑我自己,呢度高級餐廳來架,羅乜春宋湯呀。不過唔好講笑,又係鮮味之作,好濃但又飲唔出其他調味,睇來真係真材實料,佢仲推介,先飲啖原味,然後挖啲蝦羔來撈湯飲……oh my god!直頭變左另一種鮮味,簡直係神奇,頂級,超卓呀!原來西湯都可以有咁多花臣,我亦都開始明,咩叫一分錢一分貨。之後個火炙三文魚加三文魚籽,竟然係外脆內軟。我明白"好鮮味"呢個term出現得太多次會惹人反感,但對唔住,認真地,我真係要講多次,真係好鮮味 半生熟既特別口感,已經唔能夠再同平價放題去比較,食過你就知。waiter話就來到主菜,所以要清一清味蕾,我真係第一次聽呢個理由,haha。青檸雪芭,雪芭下面有青蘋果粒,諗起都酸,但食落又ok wor,清清甜甜咁。之前果幾味真係幾濃味,用呢個方法隔一隔,果然係高級餐廳,鋪排都細心啲。主菜來喇!係西班牙黑毛豬,正準備手起刀落之際,俾個waiter截住左……下,今次又點玩法?佢拎住一個木盒,入面有好多把刀,原來要揀把鋸扒刀先,我揀左把全銀色既法國刀,佢話係專用來鋸三成熟既肉。我用來鋸左一下,腦入面即刻有首笑傲江湖既背景音樂,然後有個刀客走出來,揮了一揮,大喝一聲: 好劍!ok,搞gag完畢。好切係真既,但個豬既肉地好適中,原來豬都有肉汁,加埋少少油,咀入面個感覺好豐富,好香口。加埋個黑松露燒汁,ok wor唔咸,完全升哂呢。配菜個薯蓉原來都有來頭,上面配上香草+蛋黃醬,好食到完全停唔到口。任何野始終都有尾聲,由一開始未入餐廳擔心到有啲緊張,一路食一路鄉里式讚歎,再到左最後的甜品,竟然有少少唔捨得。Homemade Dessert係流心奶凍+紅莓撻,紅莓唔酸仲幾甜,個奶凍更加係驚喜,生果都有得流心流出來,有創意又有心思。都係果句,食過你就知,fine dining一生人真係點都要食一次,喺Otto食,絕對值得。…Read More

上星期來這裡吃過,本想再來,可惜工作太繁重,於是襯自己還記得少少,在這裡記下,好讓下次再嚐。當天一進店內,就被掛滿小雞卡紙的意見牆吸引,環境有特色。看見每一台都有一大盤雞肉,心想這應該是招牌菜吧。於是點了個元祖奶奶雞,還有在這裡薄有名氣的牛肋骨鍋。奶奶雞較辣較香口,雞件粉量不少,但反而被濃湯的牛肋骨鍋搶了點風頭,口感好之餘,肉質亦相當鮮嫩!如果奶奶雞值得吃,牛肋骨鍋就是非吃不可。後來點了食較有特色的,例如真露煮蜆,真露也就是韓國的清酒,酒味很濃,愛酒之人不妨一試。膠原蛋白沙律比想像中大得多,可以當作一碗大盛白飯,反正菜多吃有益。牛肉生菜包配上醬汁,很好吃,牛肉很厚,很有嚼勁。最後是吃韓國菜的指定動作: 韓式特飲Dry B Rita,來個完滿結束,飽到上心口。臨走時,聞到隔離的芝士奶奶雞,香得好緊要………喂老闆!唔OT得唔得呀!我要食呀……!!…Read More

這個跳蚤市場,十幾年前是區內少數執平貨好去處,每逢假日,人頭湧湧,有燒烤場,高卡車……不過,都已經是過去式。因高鐵而收地,燒烤場,高卡車相繼消失,大型商場一個接一個,這裡漸漸失去昔日光輝。不過,大大小小的風雨,仍阻不了它繼續經營。前幾天來這裡懷緬一下,只餘數店,但價錢依然十分相宜,尤其是林林種種的廚具。穿過廚具店,發現原來有間小食店,像是花市那種的格局,一對老夫老妻,對著小貓三數隻,仍是笑面迎人,敬業樂業。跟店東寒喧幾句,久久没有的人情味湧上了心頭。雖然對食物没多大期望,但一場來到,捧捧老人家場也應份吧。吃了兩串魚蛋,兩串燒賣,還想再點……被老婦的一句吸引著:"好肚餓呀?不如食個飯啦。"她推介了咖喱豬扒飯,$25,現在的大學頹飯也不只這價錢了,一於順從其好意。正所謂慢工出細貨,等了足足15分鐘,終於有飯食。她一開始只倒了少許咖喱,笑說怕我覺得辣,但如果不夠咖喱可以再加。我吃了一口………呆了。絕對好味過好多茶餐廳囉!!很難用言語形容那種口感,貌似沙爹汁,吃起上來辣中帶甜,很香口,撈飯絕對一流!結果我要了全部咖喱汁,全都吃進去,粒飯不留。我膽敢說,這個咖喱飯,在旺區賣貴一倍都絕不過份。人情味好吃,吃人情味吃著好東西,更是幾生修到的福份。…Read More

吃過元朗的119,有朋友說起上環也有119,但問過又不是分店。上來Openrice查一下,看到有個飯要用搥仔打爛個殼才能吃,元朗店完全没有呢……好奇心驅使下,遠道去了一趟。其實店比較難找,因為大廈外牆完全没有指示,但晚飯時間,上到去人不算多,不用等位也算是賣點之一吧。店員說,原來這店只新開了兩個星期,一切還在摸索中。一坐下,店員就推介鐵錘系列,也就是看到的那個扑扑飯。餐牌上的食物不多,而且前菜比主菜還要多,名字也很特別,想每樣都點。店員溫馨提示,吃不完可以打包!那我就不客氣了。先來個甜筒炸雞,筒狀的擺設很特別,炸雞配忌廉來吃,感覺少了點油膩,很滋味,炸雞的肉汁更是香口。爆芝煙肉像個三文治,熱溶的芝士十分惹味,煙肉厚度有了像鴨胸,口感不錯。野人韓牛是半熟生牛冷盤,煙韌度適中,單吃肉粒没什麼味道,但配上洋葱給醬汁,就完全是另一種複雜的口味,難以形容的特別。很快KO完後,打算點多個香腸拼盤+鐵錘天使麵,才點主菜,怎料…………嘩,這麼大個!鐵剷香腸會舍,有豬肉腸,雞肉腸,以及中間一大團的牛肉腸,還有一大堆薯條伴碟!牛肉腸齋食有點像牛丸,配上茄汁可以中和一下口感。不過,這個腸拼盤離譜地大,那個天使麵都吃不下了,只是一場來到,帶走前循例也要扑一下。名字上看鐵錘溶岩天使麵,其實都不知到有什麼配料。外殼有點厚,怪不得小搥仔都有點重量,敲幾下才敲得碎。外殼是油香餅,也挺好吃,然後驚覺,入面滿是海鮮!!有帶子,有蝦,有原隻青口,有魷魚……而且不是一兩隻,很豐富,就算飽一飽都想吃兩口。雖然天使麵弄得像濕炒米粉,可是那個澎湃的配料,挽回不少分數。最後飲杯橙汁Hatai Rita作結清一清熱氣,底下是柚子肉,而且那個罐不只是裝飾,入面是滿滿的一罐橙汁,即是一杯價錢飲兩杯,抵呀!…Read More

照顧週到的用心之作

以前去歌賦街,九記一定少不了,但最近吃完經過Metal Steak,open kitchen格局下,在門口親眼看著厚切的大塊牛在大廚下烹調,方才吃完兩碗牛腩,又口水直流了。價錢走中高檔路線的Metal Steak,未食過可能會給價錢嚇到,因為都是斷克計。不過,既然百貨公司超市買牛扒也是用克計算,價格其實大同小異,有大廚調理就當然更化算。這裡不單單只有牛類,不過目測大多數人都是吃牛扒,我也不客氣了。這裡最少要買200g,最多350g,最平$1xx都有交易。有得揀,當然係老闆,難得連重量也可自選,好過幾百元吃燈影牛還要加一,我就點了佐賀A級肉眼,西冷各一,而且要最大的350g厚切。就這樣吃掉了一大份薪水,不過,辛苦得來旨在食,一次半次都括出去了。上到閣樓,柔和燈光自然少不了,不過原來是高椅高檯的半立食,對据扒來說有點新奇。檯上有好多個樽,聞一聞,各有不同的果味,店員詳盡介紹,說這是老闆自家調製,以配合不同食客口味。加上看到牆上掛著即棄圍裙,以防醬汁在高熱鐵板上濺到衣物,餐具也用上比利時國寶級品牌Berghoff,小弟就覺得,這個老闆有要求得來,也很著重細節,未食已經覺得被照顧週到。我點了兩份都是3成熟,加錢配上餐湯,餐前小吃和白飯。一開始最驚喜的,是那碗香濃的自家製粟米湯,店員說,其他日子還會有香辣湯,海鮮湯等,都是老闆親自烹調,總之不會千篇一律。有時有朋友會問,3成熟會不會太生?會切不開?這是個人喜好,很難答,只能說,在喝杯清水也會中鉛毒的世代,3成熟倒是挺安全,而且很有牛味。況且切不開,始終與牛肉的自身質素有關,跟生熟關係不大。這兩份高級牛都没有這問題,個人喜好,肉眼較軟身,西冷有嚼勁,但都肉汁極豐富。一分錢的確一分貨,這是言語解釋不盡的口感,親身試一試,就覺得這兩份牛扒,對得起這價錢有餘。建議可以到這裡之前一兩天,到平價扒屋先吃一吃,就會有較顯著的比較。醬汁太多,店員說了兩遍我都記不下,最有印象是柚子汁,絕對開胃,只是自己比較喜歡傳統的薄荷醬,永恆的配搭。飲料也有很多,但目測都是迷你裝,所以没有點,個總括來說,此行絕對是意外驚喜!下次 (一出糧) 一定會再吃!…Read More

元朗食店多得很,不要說什麼打響名堂,單單要生存下來也不容易。招牌是台灣風,一走進去,格局卻很港式,台式食品也只佔餐牌一個很小部份。老闆想有自家特色,但又想多點生意賺多幾份錢,結果就有了這不倫不類的台式茶餐廳。吃台式,識食一定食肉燥飯。在台灣,肉燥飯是最廉宜,地道的食品。在旅遊區和住宅區,味道可能相差不大,但份量就差得遠。我去過板橋區的民治街,在平民街邊檔吃肉燥飯,肉燥是完完全全,毫不吝嗇地鋪滿整碗白碗,跟旅遊區的那些一小撮矜貴的肉燥來比,簡直無得比。在香港大多數台式餐館,肉燥都是求其地做個樣鋪上少許,一啖就吃完,純粹過口瘾,沒半點台灣感覺。我們點了個肉燥玉子豆腐飯,看到那些澎湃的肉燥,在板橋區的回憶一下子就回來了。肉燥很有味,不太鹹,撈飯非常一流。台灣的肉燥一般都有肥豬肉,怕肥的或者不感興趣,但這裡的,就以菇類代替肥肉,吃起來也比較健康。當然,慷慨的份量,才是我激讚的重點。…Read More

成日見呢間都要等位,小弟不太喜歡等,所以都多次過門而不入。今次少可地下午經過,竟然無咩人,於是就入去食個TEA。一坐低,諗住望下周圍D串燒相先揀,但點知仲難諗,唔知係相機問題定真係燒得好食,張張都好吸引,結果望左差不多十分鐘,個服務員就走埋來推介,但竟然係推介一個無相睇既套餐:三重芝士撈丁。佢其實仲包兩串串燒,諗住都係口痕痕入來食少少野過下口癮,又應該唔會包到連陣間晚餐都食唔落,於是就點左個麵餐,同埋燒翠肉瓜、雞脾肉各一。個芝士麵係有少少火炙過,有少少焦香,本身鍾意食芝士,所以都ok,只係唔太食得出有「三重芝士」既感覺。不過個串燒就真係喜出望外,翠肉瓜燒完依然爽脆,乾身但無帶走瓜味,個雞脾肉更加稱得上嫩滑,似係一隻雞脾入面最好食果部份。多人排隊係有原因,如果唔使排好耐,下次都會再試。…Read More

一入到去, 我好鍾意兜個U型去另一邊坐, o係九龍城同觀塘都有一模一樣設計o既冰室, 唔敢講係咪同一個老闆, 定係當時o既標準設計, 但一樣係classic到震o既人情味食堂。講食, 未必好特別, 只可以講唔會點偷工減料。以前製造一件用品, 只會諗點令到生活方便, 可以耐用d, 用落會有口埤, 唔會好似依家咁諗到咁複雜, 係到要賺盡你, 荒死會蝕大底。去舊冰室舊茶餐廳, 的確未必好好食, 但至少唔會存心呃你一個幾毫, 以前點做, 依家, 都唔會點變, 呢d就係入到來最值得懷舊o既地方。叫個茶餐, 飲茶走食炒蛋, 女友食煎雙蛋, 茶走個煉奶夠香, 炒此蛋幾滑。有人話炒蛋多數落左忌廉或者奶, 計我話, 你唔係落地溝油就得, 最緊要好食。正如d人好介意女人整容, 講真, 整完靚o左, 個世界望落美好o左, 有咩問題? 唔通你想通街豬扒?最緊要果樣o野食, 就係呢個柞菜肉絲米, 當你見到柞菜、肉絲分開左兩邊擺, 再食埋落肚, 就會feel到佢係真材實料, 而唔係罐頭。舊式o既人情味, 就係呢種真誠, o係依家o既香港, 已經愈來愈難見到。…Read More

凱施通街都有, 而我每次都係返工前拿拿臨求其執件蛋糕, 或者菠蘿包之類, 但求穩陣包肚, 食落都無咩特別。求其食左兩三年, 直到前兩日母親大人講起, 原來佢只會食叉燒包或者吞拿魚包, 因為兩個字:「澎湃。」點樣「澎湃」法? 今朝返工前終於放慢少少腳步, 去夾個叉燒包+吞拿魚包, 夾落真係覺得重少少。結果咬一啖......嘩! 真係多到瀉! 味道同一般麵包舖差不多, 無咩特別, 可能佢仲會甜多少少, 但個餡真係好飽滿, 好勁! 如果撞o岩佢新鮮出爐, 更加係不得了。吞拿魚包個餡一樣強勁的飽滿, 不過味道麻麻, 都係叉燒包最掂, 食一個已經飽左! 平時凱施個凍櫃都有好多好靚o既cake, 賣相好吸引, 不過叉燒包真係可以話, 係「卧虎藏龍」。以依家連鎖店式「包小餡更少」o既標準來講, 凱施o係叉燒包方面, 都算有返少少人情味。不過唔知係咪間間凱施都係咁, 呢層要靠大家發掘了。…Read More
