放假諗唔到附近有乜好食,太太見呢度有大量blogger強力介紹,於是決定試下係一回咩事,點知...兩口子各order拉麵一客,麵底拍得住味千咁優良,豬骨湯底擺明係味精底仲要開得非常稀,唯獨豬扒即炸,算係補返少少分。所謂果茶,茶味全欠,一飲就飲出糖漿味,人工程度拍得住隔離碗拉麵味精湯底。我明白,俾得五十幾蚊食碗拉麵,就唔好咁多要求;不過呢種茶記級數,絕對唔值而家呢個價。同一價位,如果去大門會合理好多;又或者,平少少食譚仔好過。再唔係,返屋企煮日清ラ王 麵都得。衛生方面,眼見還可以;裝修?同食有乜關係呢?是旦啦。到底今日班飲食blogger可唔可以俾返少少職業道德,寫食評時貼返地少少呢?…Read More

韓燒呢幾年大行其道,旺區開到成行成市。但小弟覺得非常奇怪,一個位於亞熱帶嘅城市,點解市民嘅口味可以咁extreme,而又唔會嫌熱(同熱氣)日日食韓燒呢?不過,當香港吉野家都可以做到全天候365日供應火鍋套餐嘅時候,對應冰冷氣候嘅韓式燒肉店開到梗有一間喺佐近,又有何不可呢?香港近年吹起哈韓風,對韓食要求自然有所提升。仲講X陽苑?咁同你話食拉麵去味X有乜分別,咪玩啦。近兩年來食過最高水準嘅韓燒,非尖沙咀「韓珍」莫屬……但冇返三五七人,又冇返四五百(蚊)筆直的話,就真係唔好諗。低一個Tier的選擇多好多,但質素亦非常參差。梨滿園亦係其中之一,仲係高質嗰隻。衰啲講,韓燒涉及烹調技術並唔多,最多只得「烤」嘅過程;當然要控制烤嘅時間,但肉本身唔夠鮮嫩嘅話,就同烤死屍冇乜分別。小弟就有過呢種經驗,仲要食足成個鐘,非常難受……又咁講,呢次嘅experience都唔錯。唔明嘅話,自己睇相。仲有冇upload相嘅醬油蟹,第一次食,個人麻麻地因為好喊,但新鮮就係事實。食完,Conclusion係堅大鑊,因為停唔到口,又要做運動keep住身型。…Read More

今時今日,冇受領匯魔爪影響嘅屋邨少之又少。9成9公屋商場,唔係變晒快餐店,就係連鎖茶樓。最離譜算係黃大仙公屋居然有元氣壽司,要草根階層俾幾舊水食魚生菜當晚餐,你冇嘢呀嘛?剩返少之又少嘅公屋商場,依然由政府管理。而當中,又存在少之又少嘅小店,KK算係其中之一。肯肯定,去到祖堯邨呢種荒蕪之地,除非你係車主,否則平日專程會上去嘅,一係街坊,一係就學生。斷估唔會有碼頭工友衝上山搵食吧!所以,星期六黃昏時間走到KK,見到成間餐廳半個人影都冇,又覺得好正常。因為冇人,成間餐廳任坐。兩個人坐六個人大枱,如果係大商場食店,肯定俾人鬧爆祖宗十八代。點菜,基本係一個地道粟米沙律頭盤,加Garlic Nam及Chicken Masala,另配兩杯特製芒果奶昔。事先聲名,呢杯奶昔唔點唔得,一來好味,二來印度菜重口味,冇杯甜嘢中和的話,都幾難受。栗米沙律醬汁濃厚,好此道者不應錯過;Chicken Masala辣度適中,一言以敞之,有中價印度餐廳嘅水平。相比近年稍為跌watt嘅重慶森林,KK算係驚喜。當然,港島區恆河依然保持水準。其實應該叫多幾個朋友開餐,咁至夠人試足咁多道菜。結果埋單兩百蚊左右,不過不失。重點係,呢種小店真係冇幾多間,趁仲有機會,快試。…Read More

物離鄉貴,食物亦唔例外,喺布魯賽爾街頭平到嘔,多到喊,低至1歐羅一件嘅Waffle,來到香港變中價堂食,就係最佳例證。Green Waffles,之前食過一次。當日游完水在JP分店點咗超Lite的早yogut餐,味道還可以,而且有些少生果伴碟,冇乜特別complain。第二次,係女朋友建議,星期日專程走去中環食brunch,但感覺,有點失望。唔係件waffle有幾難頂,但同布魯賽爾街頭嘅質素不分上下,我食咗兩百幾,而當日在歐洲,連成set嘢只係幾蚊歐羅。話說點頭,當日我點咗個all-day breakfast,半件toast換成半件waffle。成碟早餐味道不過不失,scrambled egg溫度、軟度、甜鹹度還可,bacon就脆得濟變咗梳打餅,而主角waffle,咬感就偏軟。諗諗下,換埋舊包,去是旦一間brunch restaurant都食到差唔多質素。女友點咗full set waffle連Affogato。都係……不過不失。自問味覺不足,我食唔到呢度嘅Affogato,同出面嘅有乜分別。而主菜waffle,亦如上文所言,軟咗些步。埋單兩舊幾水;但自問,呢個價加上而家呢個歐元匯率,去到布魯賽爾,夠你去當地Grand Place啲國寶級餐廳食件Waffle加小食同飲兩三杯craft beer。But, it's Hong Kong,食waffle,你冇太多選擇。…Read More

睇完show已經夜晚十點幾,一大班同事打算宵晚加吹水,於是去到陸陸。香港人一年四季打邊爐,已經見慣不怪,但夏天三十幾度焗住食麻辣雞煲,就真係搲爆頭都唔明。係為咗大魚大肉,抑或邊食邊傾,實在不得而知。Anyway,我亦唔明點解來自大陸北方嘅雞煲會傳入香港,因為呢種食法以至格局,其實唔係太適合南方氣候,一來濕二來熱三來味道濃烈,食完汗疊汗仲食苦過做苦力。但同事們強推,於是放開心情一試。個人感覺係,雞煲本身料足,雞肉入味,煲汁即使係走辣亦惹味;就算再用熱水沖稀加料打邊爐,配料亦好入味。同時間叫咗個小辣煲,點點刺激過癮非常。我唔係食開辣亦食得開心。但講真,自己胃口偏細,加上煲汁太油膩,即使以齋菜為主,食完都好滯下。或者,呢啲係滋味嘅代價。即使係8至10人,如果人人胃女細,其實淨食個煲都好夠下。當然,最好叫多些少菜,咁食落健康好多。因為煲入面,想搵條菜都難。唯一要投訴嘅,係枱上嘅電磁爐經常自動熄爐罷工,開開關關好麻煩。…Read More

灣仔食lunch選擇多,但講到拉麵,就有點頭痕。唔係話冇choice,係行得遠咁解。之前新開神虎、黑龍及Tokyo Agura,係較近商業區,又同時具有相當質素嘅小型拉麵店。其中,又以黑龍湯底最吸引。前後已經食過3次,牛筋麵配過不同湯底。今次,主要帶同事翻尋味,專登㨂咗沾麵。食過沾汁麵都知道,除咗湯汁要夠熱,麵亦要夠爽、暖同彈口,食落先享受到沾汁麵嘅全部。年初去過三重製麵所,個麵竟然凍到似未煮咁,令人相當失望,甚至可以話差過而家開到周街都係嘅武藏。呢個牛筋沾汁麵,果然不負所望,溫度適中,麵身夠爽,湯汁亦夠濃又入味。即使唔係招牌菜,亦做出水準來。係牛筋份量差少少。跟多塊肉應該唔使死掛…。事先聲名,呢個沾汁比算係招牌牛筋拉麵嘅變種。麵底唔同,但個湯汁就有幾分相似。Anyway,灣仔打工嘅朋友,黑龍絕對唔可以miss,就算收得唔平,亦要一試。…Read More

畢業後,超過8成時間在港島區工作。活在商業區,想找平價一點,質素稍稍正常一點的粵式餐廳並不容易。通常,沒有一百幾十也不能落樓。其他收你幾十元一餐的,質素不見得好到哪裡去。要不,便要行接近一公里去到灣仔區的茶餐廳,但等位需時;當然,你亦可選擇相對較抵食且「正常」的吉野家……若不嫌悶的話。而兩「大」快餐廳,免得就免。第一份工的辦工室位於天樂里附近,知粥嘗樂是慣常的選擇。尤其,腸粉與生滾粥本身就是無需特別思考的菜單;咖哩或牛腩撞腸粉,倒是有趣的配搭。熱辣辣的咖哩取汁代麻油甜醬,成為鮮滑腸粉的佐配,倒不是甚麼奇異配搭。反正,腸粉不過是中式廣東麵食的另一種呈現,是河粉的變種,配咖哩有何不可?說實在,以三十多元的價錢來說,稍稍辛辣的咖哩雞,不粉雷雷的腸粉煲已經合格有餘。當然,灣仔一帶有更多出色的咖哩餐館。多年後重回舊地,與女友點了咖哩雞煲,水準與效率依舊,唯獨份量差一點點;另點生滾牛肉弼及生菜一碟,不過不失。七十多元埋單,以商業區級數來說,絕對合理且物有所值。…Read More

有營外賣是對自己的尊重

電召外賣或排隊外賣,目的是節省時間完成手頭上的工作。在灣仔區,通常你走過鴻x或喜x,買個三十幾或四十幾蚊叉雞雙拼飯加支可樂了事。無錯,大啖肉味道唔差,價錢平份量合理,但就犧牲健康。再唔係就食南亞外賣,或大大塊pizza,但同樣非常不利健康。Subxxx 三文治做緊$25特賣,但一落mayo 或 mustard sauce就等於搽肥油上件包度。其他茶記的狀況亦不惶多讓,差別只在油量及味精量。即使坐冷氣房,望住一嚿嚿變種肥豬肉,熱氣唔在講,有時都覺得唔開胃。工作已經夠忙,老細已經夠mean,連食個lunch都要算到盡為砌份copy犧牲健康,唔係啩?你老闆出份糧,係買斷你每日8個鐘,唔係買斷你條命。你,值得一個健康又美味的lunch box。但不幸地,你唔係jamie oliver,你老婆或阿媽亦唔係方太,你老豆更加唔係李錦聯,結果去到另一個極端︰隔夜叮飯。其實唔係無選擇。廈門街Tallore,主理人睇唔過香港主流lunch box交行貨,味精西湯紅白紅紅白,於是自立門戶推廣家鄉比利時湯水文化及lunch box。而Tallore在比利時語的意思即係「碗碗碟碟」。menu不算複雜,每日約5款湯,另配三文治、pasta(螺絲粉)、沙律或墨西哥牛肉飯是旦一款,最後配一款topping,適合任何患有嚴重午餐選擇困難症的打工仔。今日encore第二次,與女友各自點雞心豆沙律及飯,無味精添加已經令人感動,足料湯水亦教人明白︰有情真係飲水都杯。當然,前提係要食清湯料。係,78蚊一個外賣套餐,足夠買兩個叉雞飯盒餐;不過,能夠品嚐到媲美真正歐陸小鎮自家製小廚級數,不單買回健康,亦係對自己一個尊重。辛苦得來自在食,係千古不變的道理。再者,拎住一個媲美流行時裝店的精美外賣紙袋,女同事亦會對你另眼相看吧。有型,此刻無價。…Read More
