若身處啟德,如害怕畸畸園但「泰」懷念泰菜,九龍城以外、在啟德區邊緣,毋忘穿過晴朗商場往麗晶花園方向,橫過大馬路,步程10分鐘左右又是一個選擇。八十年代中的舊商場,開店數月裝修相對decent的店,已幫襯不下五次,水準穩定,甚至,餸菜味道更穩步上揚。尤其是逢到必點的海南雞飯。在港的雞飯來說及得上中上質素,至少非那些「偽」海南雞那樣無起骨,而且保留皮肉中間的果凍層,雞肉或許未及鮮宰的味,但其質感蘸些薑蓉雞醬也不致太偏離。幾乎經不起落力推銷就點了肉蟹,怕弄得雙手油污,以軟殼蟹代之,即成「咖哩炒軟殼蟹麵包」,炸蟹酥脆不在話下,麵包又是外邊脆內鬆軟。簡單一杯「菠蘿沙冰」也是用心之作,高聳螺旋又濃烈菠蘿味。找不到不再來的理由。…Read More

剛好是填補啟德欠缺東南亞菜的一塊,始終是新開中的新開,清一色卡位舒適度無可排剔。雖說要直奔頂層4樓,唯13:20已要gulu 取票,預等10分鐘左右坐坐吓,有點似曾熟悉,醒起似樂富那家蒲羅,甚至餐牌的排版、選項也類近,同時又帶點蘇山的feel。抱持觀望態度,所以點難以失敗的海鮮摻摻。模樣、味道幾乎在蒲羅吃的一樣,3隻沙白蜆、2隻蝦均屬新鮮,半隻烚蛋輕微溏心,介乎微辣至小辣之間。辣肉碎煎蛋飯需要改良,好處是肉碎頗多,與白飯是3比2份量,2片大生菜墊底;壞處是似乎炒不均勻,鹽份下手太重亦呈現部份肉碎作咸,而整體肉碎調味不算辣倒偏酸,還好那隻脆邊太陽蛋未至於失色。未及蘇山,貼近蒲羅。…Read More

心目中的隱世酒樓——千禧年代舊裝修小型屋苑商場內,可幸有升降機有扶手電梯,比附近大酒樓要硬撐樓梯相對友善。同樣有提供麻雀耍樂,枱與枱間空間充足,而且隔音可以,不吵耳。職員態度沒同類酒樓的粗聲粗氣,相對友善寬容,而且要俾讚的是家人早到下午5:30抵達,也不會像某些酒樓堅持未人齊、未夠6點員工開工時間就拒諸客門外,而是招呼入場選位坐。三次中兩次午茶,最近來試晚飯。冬瓜盅明顯比般酒樓的要大三分一至一倍,吃了一半才醒起拍照,好吃到忘了。啫啫雞蝦煲夠鑊氣夠入味;避風塘軟殼蟹三大隻絕對高性價比,唯獨咬到一半發現居然有幾瓣蟹肺未清理好就扣了點分。…Read More

從前(早於六年前)在荔枝角道幫襯是小小店,屈就坐通道兩旁的摺枱或面壁一排單人坐,如今是熙來攘往的彌敦道一新淨商廈的2樓(有兩部升降機可達),舖面有咖啡店休閒感覺,和以前擠着坐圓凳速食感大相逕庭,價錢驟眼看沒大幅加價。選了偌大落地玻璃旁的二人圓桌(重度畏高者慎選),正好滿足好奇飽覽樓下兩旁彌敦道之人生百態。食物選擇繼續簡約,我依舊「框死」選擇如下:雞絲湯河,喜歡大把大把金不換以擔草入城門並當之芫荽的大嚼伴隨爽滑河粉、幼滑雞絲吞下。同時點的烤豬肉湯河,烤豬肉偏粗糙而份量少,泛油略多,不及雞絲河細膩。牛油果沙冰,縱使單品點沒跟餐優惠,還是每趟光顧皆欲罷不能,是次濃稠度更勝從前,活脫脫就是一大杯牛油果沒酸味的乳酪,飽肚程度等同代餐。必吃的竟是小小糕點——斑蘭糕,草香味的斑蘭葉味,中間是淺綠色綠豆蓉,不太甜膩,在舊舖如是,在新舖依舊,堂食不夠喉,又掃兩件外賣。榴蓮糕是搭檔點,有絲絲榴蓮肉夾雜在內,然而論層次口感還是比斑蘭糕下去。…Read More

終於夾好時間等12點左右開舖就去,避開繁忙時間排隊人潮。地點恰好是玩具街(福榮街)姐妹街福華街尾,往長沙灣方向,旺中帶靜位置。舖面小巧淡雅,枱小但不過份逼迫。首當其衝的印象是侍應完全「食腦」下單,沒手寫沒裝置下單沒覆述情況下,單靠我僅說一次吃麼喝麼就已牢記,連飲品少冰也是分毫不差,大概該美女的聆聽考試也考得不俗。主食份量如是說:偏巨。部分少吃或慣七分飽之素友下單時可預先告知「扣底」。濃味愛好首推「四川麻辣意大利粉」,一小撮藏紅花鋪面好省會風味,辣大過麻,辣度約小辣,切絲豆斗輕易入味,無可否認不喜辣也對此愛不釋手。用雞脾菇莖造成的模擬「帶子」幾可亂真,有沁甜感,本身已很童趣的紅酸模葉呈落葉姿態隨便散落,濃厚黑松露白汁當中再有切角粒的雞脾菇身影,碟大,飯量也足有三碗。還在疑惑薑黃福花(椰菜花同鄉)怎做乳酪甜點時,試一口時覺得可歸類沙律,乳酪是牛乳味但淡的,除了表面的藍莓外,難為鹹甜定分界,就是用了食物本身最原始的味道作結。已指示少冰,真正做到,帶點淡淡薄荷香的伯爵茶來是就三四小顆冰塊,杯子大,份量比一杯凍飲多四分一,走糖,正合意。並且自動「走塑」,預設沒飲管。下次再來,希望不用數年⋯⋯…Read More

幾乎給舖名誤導而卻步,不止有燒烤串燒,囊括泰國大部分美食。泰菜不多備的螄蚶,有白𤆥或醃,選了更鮮有的醃香茅螄蚶。 下了大量幾乎一比一的蔥、蒜、辣椒,香茅切粒混和起來呈木屑圈狀,可嚼而不起渣。啖一口螄蚶,似了汆水再醃而非生醃,因是褪去了生吃的血鮮味而肉較實,倒是大量香料配料構成的酸辣汁佐料挺惹味,甚至可取代豬頸肉來配生菜作生菜包(豬頸肉切成幼條狀,方便包裹但削了口感)。泰式拼盤設計雖好,勝在罕有放了四五隻泰式鳳爪、雞翼、春卷、蝦餅,齊集最具代表性的泰式小吃,唯:雞翼夠熱不夠酥脆;蝦餅外脆不足有欠彈牙;鳳爪不夠酸辣兼有漂白碗布味,僅餘春卷獨善其身。小二推介的串燒豬肉串不如設想,看竹簽很有現成工場製作感,醃味可。芒果冰別於平常的沙冰,不起沙,較濃稠,芒果味疑用水仙芒,香味淡甜度相對低。是有張貼標明限食90分鐘,只是此處非九龍城泰菜熱門之選,勝在三人可坐六人枱,舖外也沒等位人潮,可以慢吃。…Read More

本人的九龍城泰菜集郵拼圖原來尚餘這其中一塊,之前較多在城南道遊走,是次換換角度去南角道。服務是爽快,下單清晰。期間不斷有剝掉的蟹殼放骨碟,不斷會有侍應清走。燒豬頸肉不特別出眾,稍略嫌太厚切,口感堅實少了平時斜切片薄那種爽口感。泰式炸蝦餅是燙口入心的熱騰騰,輕脆,味道還未到心中首一,因蝦味未夠。選擇比一般泰菜稍多變奏,例如咖喱炒蟹分肉蟹或羔蟹(當晚只有肉蟹選,但狀態不俗很好肉、蟹蓋蘊藏頗厚的羔)、生菜包可選雞肉(比平常的豬肉碎稍大顆,較淡味)、除菠蘿焗飯外還有椰青焗飯⋯⋯以罕見度或好奇度,在幾碟菠蘿焗飯在店內遊走下遇是選椰青。十數分鐘後,椰青焗飯幾乎是以巨型甜品的姿態出現,鞏起的飯山面覆蓋幾近似半溶雪糕球的椰漿,頂層再灑上幾抹肉鬆,造型討喜吸引其他食客眼球。炒飯的配料簡單有青豆、椰子肉、鮮蝦,椰青水煮的白飯,混和濃郁的椰漿一半飯一半汁的每匙送進口,沒過滯的飽膩感,竟還有點開胃。頃刻,瞥見一個個被吃罷內攏的空菠蘿殼被小心翼翼送至廚房而非廚餘桶,內心不禁浮現菠蘿炒飯的菠蘿殼被食肆重用的都市飲食傳說的迷思,感到此舉煞是耐人尋味⋯⋯趕緊朝吃罷的椰青殼內看一下究竟,見疑似是用小刀或刨刮椰青肉的痕迹而非不銹鋼勺子刮痕,登時鬆釋除疑慮⋯⋯膳後被同行之縮水阿伯笑說吃頓飯也要邏輯推敲查案一樣⋯⋯…Read More

是日星期四平日中午去無端的有七折優惠。據同行好友說酒店好多時都會打折,而且亦仗着這陣子政府派消費券要搶生意吧。早兩星期電話訂位,3人同行,被安排的是大卡座絲絨沙發,枱與枱相去甚遠,鄰枱大夥兒大聲說笑也不太滋擾。明知是此地歷史悠久,地方所給予的新鮮感是索然無味,唯坊間多是限量生蠔、燒蠔,因此衝着任吃生蠔🦪而來。如果純以數量,🦪雖然瘦削點然而質素可以來說,絕對已滿足嗜蠔者要求。已來回拿了不知凡幾。冰架上蠔是不斷添,至少至兩點。每回四隻的取,蠔肉總體較瘦,拿了幾回口感大同小異,忽爾有一回四隻極濃重海水味,甚至拿回坐位連好友也嗅得到,此碟蠔外觀上不特別肥美,大啖一口直接接受是海洋的感覺,惜是最後一回再出去取四隻竟是換來一股腥味不好下嚥,似乎賭博一場,見好就收。刺身集中三文魚、池魚、鯡魚,部位未算肥美但鮮度可以。盛手工壽司的透明櫃開門不太友善,要一手揭開透明門蓋;一手夾壽司🍣,比較忙碌,倒是值得一嚐,每款兩至三件不氾濫,造型精緻小巧。甜品總體都減甜,覺得最味美是是櫃下層的栗子慕絲蛋糕。中央自助櫃枱有木桶豆腐花供自勺,黃豆味濃,只是未夠滑口。下午2:30後部分客繼續坐聊,無趕客走情況。後記:究竟是「紅煙窗」還是「紅煙囪」?爭拗不斷,意譯明明是後者,抑或本是錯字但已叫慣了索性錯有錯著?…Read More

行經荔枝角一帶覓食,竟發現這「我非甚麼也不是」就在雲集多間食肆的億利工廈,記起她的意大利飯弄得不俗,既然就腳就信步前往。不用搭𨋢多層,就在2樓。裝修同樣以白色為主調,燈光偏昏黃。有提供藤籃放隨身包袱。二人前坐二人枱。有點彆扭是圓枱雖是雅緻,但有點小。還好的是上菜會控制最多只同時有兩道菜在桌。「青芥末牛油果三文魚籽蟹肉多士」$88—朋友說三文魚籽有點腥,我覺得可接受,反而芥末醬味濃都蓋過,多士夠脆。黑松露未免太氾濫,所以選「火箭菜巴馬火腿牛肝菌意大利飯」$138—擺盤討好,巴馬火腿捲成玫瑰模樣,少許鹹香不嗆味,極濃烈的牛肝菌醬汁,濃郁到幾近肉味並浸滿意大利飯,同時頗多牛肝菌切片,為濕濡的意大利飯再添口感。「保雲酥羊鞍配薄荷醬燒汁」$248—香草鹽的薄酥鋪在三件羊鞍表面,植被似的透露春天氣息,口感是粉碎的非一片酥皮,有點麵包糠味道,羊鞍肉質尚算嫩滑,微膻易入口,伴隨有焗薯外還有薯蓉,很飽足。「爆谷水果雪糕芭菲杯」$78—焦糖爆谷、士多啤梨粒、芒果粒、藍莓,配乳酪軟雪糕,差點發傻吃掉表面那片橙乾切片(不是乾果!),不甜不膩。…Read More
