生水味撈檬,薑味的薏米水

本人好耐冇打食評,但佢令我食完後好反感,實在不吐不快。今次叫左豬扒撈檬,午餐包飲品,我揀左薏米水。一黎杯薏米水都靚靚仔仔嘅,點知飲落去有薑茶味,都唔緊要,仲要有薑絲,認真接受唔到。至於碗撈檬,唔知點解又有肉鬆,又有薑蔥,可能係想有d港式嘅味道啦。佢地都唔係好大影響,但最可惜係d檬粉有陣生水味。唔知係因為用生水過冷河,定d魚露有怪味呢? 豬扒都還可以,不過不失啦!整體而言,好差,可以用奇怪黎形容成個餐。…Read More

唔好食三杯雞

之前睇到佢張傳單,見到d食物都幾有特色,所以都想試好耐。點知就中哂伏啦!我地叫左四樣野,分別係魯肉飯、蕃薯苗、砂鍋三杯雞,以及紅豆湯(熱)。首先講下魯肉飯,有肥肉同瘦肉,但瘦肉認真太硬,而味道還好啦,有種甜甜即台南魯肉味,不過食落好似梅菜扣肉味...... 跟住試下蕃薯苗,正正常常,份量都多即刻既,不過計番性價比就唔高。根住先係重點,試下個三杯雞。嘩,完全唔係三杯雞既味... 食左好耐都諗唔到佢似咩味,但係好奇怪既鹹味 。雞肉都嫩既,肉質係冇問題。食下食下終於諗到啦⋯⋯係有陣鹹魚味!!!由於友人唔食鹹魚,更覺得係種臭味。搞唔掂啦真係最後再食埋碗紅豆湯,太甜,而芋圓都好多粉,小丸子就幾有咬口既。總結係以後都唔會再去…Read More

拯救拉麵的湯底

是日因蕃茄癮和拉麵癮同時發作,友人推介這家以蕃茄湯底聞名的拉麵店。餐廳所提供的食物種類並不多,大約是八種不同配料的拉麵和一種小食。配料有素食也有肉食。被筆者和友人選中的是雞肉拉麵和豚肉拉麵。當然湯底就是蕃茄湯底,也因為只有蕃茄湯底。首先是湯:茄味濃而不油,亦不是那種下了味精或茄醬的假蕃茄味,值得一讚。但唯一是兩碗拉麵中配料都寫有巴馬臣芝士,可惜筆者未能品嚐到任何芝士的味道。接著是麵:在同樣價錢下的日式拉麵店中,這家的麵可算是比較差的一家。無論是麵的味道還是咬感都較為差勁。最後是配料:雞肉應該是雞排,煎香後放上麵上,味道一般,肉質乾身,份量不多;豚肉就是日式叉燒,調味不錯,但唯一不足就是肉質太瘦導致太「柴」。總體來說算是可以列入再光顧的名單,但麵家應該要改善一下拉麵本身的質素。…Read More

有質素的常餐

很久沒光顧茶餐廳,這天一鼓「常餐癮」發作,於是在旺角近太子一帶隨心搜索茶記。在芸芸茶餐廳中,筆者就被這裡的常餐招牌所吸引。常餐是正常的一濕一乾一茶,選擇亦不少,一共十二款:有豬潤、叉燒、牛肉等配料,可選蕃茄、沙嗲或薑汁湯底,亦有雪茶肉絲、炸菜肉絲,火腿等通粉,都足以令筆者心思思了好幾分鐘! 最終筆者點了蕃茄豬潤通粉,配火腿炒蛋和牛油多士,友人則選擇了蕃茄叉燒通粉,配午餐肉炒蛋和牛油多士。最先來的並非多士或炒蛋,卻是通粉。大概是烘多士需時吧!皆因這裡的多士並不是用輕輕烘過的白方包,而是烘得香脆、暖暖的厚身白方包。那微溫鬆脆配合溶掉了的牛油,趁熱入口,十分好吃! 至於炒蛋方面,味道微咸,蛋質亦算嫩滑,不過不失!牛餐肉和火腿則被認真地煎香,尚算誠意之作。而主菜方面:蕃茄湯底夠濃!細細粒的通粉更能讓蕃茄湯底滲入其中。不過豬潤品質就差一點了,好像不夠新鮮,也有點「老」。叉燒味道濃郁,不似是尋常茶餐廳的叉燒,而是偏向正式茶樓燒味的感覺;叉燒肥瘦7:3比例,喜歡肥瘦平衡的人應該會很喜歡。總體來說食物質素不錯,只是餐廳的集團味濃、加上個別員工無心工作(那位姐姐隨手將3碟不屬於筆者及友人二人的餐肉炒蛋扔到筆者桌上),下回「常餐癮」發動時還是優先選擇無名小店比較好。…Read More

觀塘工廠裡的小時光

觀塘作為一個工業區,在製造業息微之時,成功利用地方寬廣、租金便宜的空置工廠單位,翻身成為新興的飲食區。成本下降所帶來的價廉物美,吸引了不少食客於假日前往一探真偽。筆者於是鎖定了「工廠餐廳」,最後在眾多餐廳中挑選了這間名叫「小時光」的台式餐廳。入夜後,工廠大廈開始陷入沉睡,連同大廈的主入口都封閉起來。在一番打探後,終於在停車場出入口的二樓發現了「小時光」的招牌。走上樓梯,就正式抵達目的地。推門進內,兩個「台灣學生妹」打扮的接待員正在招待著為數不算太多的客人。等位時間不到五分鐘,就有接待員詢問筆者能否到上一層位置用餐。雖然餐廳採用自助式點餐,顧客需要先到主層點餐及付款再根據提示器提示取餐,但能免卻等候時間自然欣然接受需要上下走動的不便。整間餐廳的裝潢和設計是以校園為主題,模擬校園的不同角落,選用了課室的黑板、舊書桌、舊椅子,也有很多陳年擺設,令人份外深刻。最令人歡喜的,是書桌上有著各種屬於學生的塗鴉和雕刻;雖說是台式的味道,依舊能帶著食客的心神回到童年校園的時光。安頓好後,便開始選擇餐點。雖然選擇不多,但我們也選了片刻,最後選擇了夜市香酥雞便當 ($55) 配抹茶紅豆($30) ,以及古香味炸排骨便當($55) 配西柚蘇打 ($35)。大概等了十分鐘,提示器響起,筆者便拿著提示器去取餐。餐點的擺設很有特式,裝著飲料的器皿是實驗室用的錐形瓶和燒杯,筷子則為粉紅色木顏色款式。夜市香酥雞便當配抹茶紅豆:香酥雞排分量充足並且厚身,表面炸皮厚度一般,尚算是脆而不硬。雞排肉質一般但不乾身,肉汁加上雞皮與本身雞排的脂肪對肉質的稍作補救。香酥雞本身沒有任何醬汁,亦毋需醬汁已味道充足。抹茶紅豆的味道尚算可口,外觀也是一流,唯一可以在雞蛋裡挑骨頭的是凍飲時冰塊在杯面上浮動導致較難飲用,餐廳可能需要考慮作出改善。古香味炸排骨便當配西柚蘇打:排骨的分量不輸於香酥雞,薄切的肉排與簿身的炸皮、經油炸後尚算柔嫩的肉質,肥瘦適宜並帶骨,在口感上可以說是十分滿意。唯排骨本身的肉味及調味較淡,加上醬汁後不算乾身但亦不夠濃味。西柚蘇打,滿分,好喝。除了便當的主菜外,跟餐的還有白飯和配菜。珍珠白米加上黑芝麻點綴,唯白飯的溫度不算很足,只能說是溫暖;配菜有三種:西蘭花,沒有特別,只是分量極細;芽菜,爽口,清爽,不錯;菜甫,帶有指天椒絲,清脆含辣,好吃。由於餐廳的座位數目充足,享用食物過後,還可以多留一會跟朋友聊聊天,也可以看看書架上的漫畫。…Read More

整體不錯,唯肥肉比例過高

蝦豬餅,顧名思義,就是用油酥餅包著以蝦醬調製過的豬肉一同進食。蝦豬餅的中文名與英文字"Husband"發音相似,所以店主太太特意起了Husband這個英文名字。蝦豬餅可稱得上是大澳的一大名小吃,只有週末及假期會出售,難得於星期六到訪自然值得一試。店外左側為銷售蝦醬的展銷櫃臺、右方則搭建了一個專為蝦豬餅而設的爐灶。幸好當時客人不多,筆者到達時馬上就可以下單。為筆者烹煮蝦豬餅的是一位年輕小;接到下單後,小哥先將事先搋好的油酥餅放在鐵板煎熟,再將新鮮的生菜絲及以蝦醬調好味的豬肉碎放在香噴噴的油酥餅當中就大功告成。先看看外貌,蝦豬餅的賣相實是不錯:煎得略帶金黃的外皮、翠綠的生菜絲、咖啡色的肉碎,兩種出眾的顏色與沉穩的肉碎作出的鮮明對比,令人不禁想馬上咬下第一口。油酥餅本身的味道不錯,溫度亦因即場煎熟而十分足夠,帶著微微油光而不膩口。主角蝦醬豬肉碎方面,肥瘦比例大約6:4至5:5,肥肉比例驚人地高。這對愛吃肥肉與不吃的食客相信會帶來很大的對比!除了肉質,可能是採用了味道較淡的蝦醬調製,肉碎所帶的蝦醬味清香而淡鮮。說是鮮,也是腥;平時不吃蝦醬的,也可勉強接受著這輕輕的腥(鮮)味而咬一小口。但對渴求重口味的食客來說,這可能會令他們感到失望了。佔餡身另一半的生菜絲味道清新,能有效帶走由餅皮與肉碎帶來的油膩,這個設計很好,在味道和食感的配合上一流。蝦豬餅的體型不大,一口也能吃盡由餅皮、肉碎、生菜三者結合而帶來的滋味:香、鮮、清的味道再加上酥、軟、脆的口感,在總體的配合和設計上實是不錯。但由於筆者本身不好肥肉,在主角不合「口緣」的情況下,對蝦豬餅的評價不算高;另外價錢上和分量上亦不見得便宜,故相信他日再來大澳,亦未必會再度光臨。…Read More
