荃灣石燒龍頭!食過多次依然出色!

住在荃灣,久唔久就會到牛県大快朵頤,相比其他石燒牛店,牛県更著重不同部位牛扒嘅分別,而非一味sell和牛。亦因為牛県,小弟都學多咗有關牛肉嘅知識。早排亦有去再食牛県,果次叫嘅係是日special 300g 牛扒。先上沙律,新鮮蕃茄配上柚子醋,酸甜醒胃,亦為一陣嘅牛扒打好底。再來係西蘭花湯,老實說並不出色,湯並未能釋出西蘭花獨有香味,反而加上香草後增強咗其草青苦澀味道。平時嘅西湯並唔會出現依種情況,應該只係當晚失手。其後主角石燒牛登場,一上枱,牛扒油脂香撲鼻而來,食落牛肉味濃郁,而且亦不斷有散發油香。想更有咬口,可以順紋切;如想食腍身牛肉,逆紋切則更理想。我就較愛逆紋切。配上有飯素嘅珍珠米飯,十分匹配。講開又講,每次諗點樣切割牛扒,都算係我食石燒牛時個人嘅小樂趣。😂美中不足嘅係燒耐咗牛扒底部會過熟變硬。同時,牛扒太厚,以致離石板較遠嘅牛肉會有點過生,做成生熟不均嘅情況。不過我諗依個係石燒牛店嘅通病。配上石燒牛,白飯都可以整多兩碗!…Read More

東龍島冒險之旅(上):香口餐蛋麵

早排連續四日紅日,冇得去下旅行,一於去下郊外散心。一行人去咗東龍島,景色宜人,而且有種primitive嘅感覺,似去咗侏羅紀公園咁。但島上景點太多,一日其實行唔晒。東龍島嘅遊歷就唔多講啦。主要講下食咗乜。今次去咗兩間士多,其中一間係假日士多。假日士多位於營地附近,感覺好似古代嘅驛站😂因為由士多出發有三條路揀,分別會去唔同嘅地方。見當時冇乜人,我地決定坐低食個早餐同plan行程。老闆娘話連續幾日紅日,水餃已經賣晒😭於是我地叫咗其餘嘅餸,分別係餐蛋麵、餐肉紅腸麵同餐肉魚片麵。餐肉煎得好出色呀,係傳統有肉粒果隻餐肉,脆邊香口,唔係一早煎定放上去嘅。公仔麵彈牙,食耐咗都冇糊到,我地覺得同出前一丁有得揮(後來影士多其中一張相影到‘公仔麵 原味冬菜’,我地估應該係果隻麵底)!朋友比咗塊紅腸我試,同樣煎得香口,又估唔到幾夾個麵。東龍島上食嘅餐蛋麵令我諗起以前響蒲台島食嘅紫菜餐蛋麵,兩者同樣出色。莫非響島上食餐蛋麵特別有feel?😂飲品方面,我地叫咗綠豆冰同凍檸賓。比起紅豆冰,其實我更鍾意綠豆冰,綠豆有起沙,消暑解渴。凍檸賓係朋友叫嘅,所以我冇試到。三文治唔特別,普通冇烘底,所以唔多講。食完之後大家亦plan好行程,整理好架生就正式出發!P.S.: 原來只係朝早少人,新船到達加上露營人士陸續出返嚟,晏晝出返嚟時士多已經座無虛席。…Read More

因為拎月餅,所以出咗旺角一轉。發現麵麵依間餐廳專做魚烏冬。香港近排出咗好多新奇烏冬,早排有白布烏冬,緐家又有魚烏冬,可以講烏冬都算香港人四大麵食之一。今次叫咗日式叉燒魚烏冬,試試後發現相當唔錯呀!魚烏冬非常彈牙,而且魚湯味濃,同荃灣某魚湯餐廳有得揮。肉就係日式叉燒,配上煎蛋絲同紫茶。凍檸茶亦都相當唔錯,用新鮮檸檬沖,唔似出面茶記咁得個死甜。美中不足嘅係,前菜同叉燒好普通,冇乜特別。如果配菜都做得好嘅話,咁就perfect。…Read More

何謂食風景?Aqua也。

和女友慶祝周年記念,當然要找一間浪漫餐廳,故找了擁有無敵海景的Aqua。蒲進門,一整片維多利亞港映入眼簾。不誇張,整片落地玻璃把對岸的灣仔吸了進來,其震撼程度不下於乘山頂纜車時所看到的維港景色。 在近一小時的打卡參觀賞景後,待應正式上菜。Aqua擁有地利,佈置亦十分出色。可惜的是,雖然Aqua主打意日fusion菜,食物卻無甚驚喜。我們這次點的是Golden Ticket Dinner Set。Baton ebi, salmon and hamachi sashimi + Spicy negitoro with cucumber roll先上的是刺身,包括牡丹蝦,三文魚,油甘魚和辣拖羅青瓜卷。刺身尚算鮮美,個人愛吃拖羅,所以對於拖羅卷毫無抵抗力,配上青瓜,亦多少減去刺身的肥膩感,可以說為這餐打開不錯的序幕。Italian antipasto platter + Burrata Sorrento style with selection cold cuts and roasted vegetables再來是意式火腿拼盤和烤茄子。當中個人十分喜愛Burrata芝士,芝士味淡,能很好的配合鹹香的火腿。然而,再為冷盤,火腿的份量過多,吃畢已有半飽的狀態。更大的問題是,之後的主菜分量太少,黯然失色。Zucchini flowers, mozzarella cheese and mini tomato with green chili yuzu stock天婦羅拼盤包括青瓜花、mozzerella cheese、青椒和車厘茄,無特別,我們甚至認為鮨千壽比它更好。另一方面,天婦羅和火腿拼盤同一時間上菜,但兩者無大關係,天婦羅放太久後亦有點變腍。Black squid ink risotto with octopus and salicornia + Homemade tagliolini with champagne and sage sauce, macadamia and caviar第一款主食是墨汁意大利飯配八瓜魚和手打意粉。意大利飯調味好,八瓜魚亦煮得彈牙而不韌。我對手打意粉十分期待,然而,雖吃得出是手打,卻不算彈牙。題外話,我在香港吃過的手打意粉有Pici和屏山的雄記,均十分出色。BBQ store-grilled beef tenderloin with sour soy sauce + Grilled tiger prawns with blood orange vinaigrette主菜是石燒牛肉和燒虎蝦。牛肉味道普通,跟外面吃的石燒牛差別不大。但普通的牛肉只有四塊則顯得既不矜貴,量也不足。虎蝦亦一樣,不算彈牙又只有一隻。主菜本為整個晚餐的高潮所在,這份主菜卻帶動不起我的情緒,有一刻我甚至想﹕「下?咁就完咗啦?」Signature aqua desset platter最後是甜品拼盤,當中Brownie很好,充滿朱古力,但跟之前的問題一樣,甜品份量太多,比主菜更似主菜。總括而言,這次Golden Ticket Set的食物無甚驚喜,食物配搭上,比起餐廳聲稱的意日Fusion,它更像意日大雜燴。最大問題是,食物份量分佈不均,前菜甜品太多,主菜太少。不過,望著維港的景色,任何食物都會加分。如果是為了打卡,我認為Aqua絕對值得一去,畢竟去餐廳用膳,為的不只少味道,還有整體的感受。我在Aqua整體的感受是良好的。…Read More

客室涼夏闊,遠山入庭來~

「客室涼夏闊,遠山入庭來」~一進門就見到依句俳語。當然,香港租貴,所以室既不闊,亦無遠山入景。但正如好多久未回鄉嘅香港人一樣,入去Sukiyaki Mori Kyuu,望下日式裝潢,多少可以解解鄉愁。響香港,食壽喜燒嘅店唔多,我暫時食過3間壽喜燒店。第一間係Hana華小料理屋,第二間係日山,Sukiyaki Mori Kyuu,久聞大名,唔少人食過都讚好。今次終於有幸一試。Mori煮法似關西風。所謂關東風關西風,分別在於落調好嘅汁先定煎牛肉先。不過咩風都唔打緊,好食就得。叫咗一豬一牛。師傅自己都話:「其實豬肉點都唔夠牛肉好食,因為要全熟。」所以我都唔多講啦,大家鍾意可以一戰。牛肉嚟講,我食過嘅三間店Mori最花心機,一個set入面有4款部位,包括肉眼、西冷、肩膀兩款,共4大塊。連埋前菜飯甜品,其實好夠飽。我個人最鍾意西冷,油脂最合適,亦最稔。好多人都會講嘅和牛蛋飯,其實唔錯。不過前面啲肉太好食,相對而言佢放響set嘅尾聲,似係為咗填飽個肚。話說明治剛開始維新時,大力鼓吹人民食肉。但係深受佛教文化影響嘅日本人係好抗拒。聽聞啲日本人食壽喜燒果陣仲會響客廳同佛堂貼上「遮掩紙」掩人耳目。不過咁大陣味,邊遮到呀。Anyway,當時嘅日本人見到今日壽喜燒店開到嚟香港,仲要係中上環地段嘅中高級餐廳,唔知又有咩感受呢?…Read More
