很滿足既午餐

早兩個星期六去荷理活食日式一人火鍋,等位嗰陣見到隔籬新開呢間網燒,見佢平日啲午市定食都賣相唔錯,價錢都 ok,一直心郁郁想試。之後個禮拜即刻同同事報料有新嘢,醖釀咗一個星期,今日終於以即興形式拉埋兩位同事去試。話晒臨年尾工作量比較多,去食番餐好少少慰勞下自己叉吓電吖嘛。雖然係新開張,但去到坐低已經差唔多滿座。由於暫時未有訂檯服務,所以都係「早為上著」。呢間餐廳地座位好寬敞,我地一行三人坐張六人檯,加上地方又新,裝潢亦都好具日式味道,感覺非常良好。由於有優惠,叫咗牛腹胸、雞肉、牛肋肉同肩脊肉四款定食,其中一個免費。定食除左主打嘅一份肉之外,仲跟前菜,湯、飯同飲品。前菜係一碟三款嘅韓國泡菜(咦?網燒唔係日式架咩?),味道不過不失。湯係牛尾湯,有牛肉粒同蘿蔔,幾清甜。落 order 時侍應會問埋你每個定食要鹽醬定醬汁,即係咩呢?哦,原來份肉上碟前會用其中一款醬料醃一醃,咁燒完就即刻食得唔駛沾醬囉。燒呢個過程其實好快,小心燒焦。咁多樣之中,雞肉算係最易燒,燒完雞皮好脆口,正!而牛肉方面,真係一分錢,一分貨。最平嘅牛腹胸當然係最煙韌,肉身較厚而肥榚較集中,至於貴丁點嘅牛肋肉同肩脊肉就軟滑很多。至於招牌金舌同和牛就未有機會試。雖然三人食四人餐,但啲肉都係唔夠食,幸好醬汁撈珍珠飯相當好吃,若果可以任添白飯就最更好,飲品方面質素一般,咖啡亦似乎唔係即磨。服務方面侍應態度都好好,落單嘅時候仲特登提我地有買三送一優惠。臨走前經理仲送咗左張會員卡我地,話下次散叫有9折添。唯一可以彈嘅就係食物上檯速度真係有待改善,明明係一碟碟嘅生肉,都要攪咗成十幾分鐘先上到檯,趕時間的話就分分鐘會激死。整體上講,午市定食以網燒嚟計真係好抵食。返到公司我地周圍同人講,大家聽完不知幾恨想快啲再嚟試試添!…Read More

年輕人嘅咖啡室

尋晚約左班舊同學同老師食飯,事前有同學提議去咖啡弄,箇中短訊對話內容蹄笑皆非。除咗呢間Cafe 人氣旺盛之外,食物素質聽聞都略有口碑。有趣的是,餐廳嘅侍應同顧客才是亮點。當時心諗,唔通係啲,唔通係啲好似日本嘅邪氣 cafe,但又無理由丫,事關論討嗰陣啲女同學都無咩顯得反感。原先約 6:30,有朋友比原定時間早左大半個鐘,嗰陣拎位無難度,但由於大部份人都未嚟,而檯亦要90 分鐘還,於是叫知客畀住其他人入去先。入下一個又一個,最終都係決定轉移陣地去對面馬路間台灣上海菜食。食到中途再上返去咖啡弄拎籌,食完飯差唔多近九點,點知仲未叫到,結果等到9:30 先入到去。雖然等得耐,但由行樓梯見到排晒隊,跟住同操國語侍應拎籌嗰陣,我就好似有啲了點解啲人做乜肯等位等咁耐⋯⋯ 這種感覺,要親身體會一下先得。聽講,咖啡弄係來自台灣。朋友話喺台灣咖啡弄係唔駛等位嘅,但香港就等到頸都長。明・沈璟《埋劍記·柔遠》:「自古道物離鄉貴,人離鄉賤;這語話,信非假,到如今轉憶家。」就是這個道理。我有理由相信,大部份侍應生都係來台灣,都係後生仔女,加上整間 cafe 的顧客都係年輕人,整間 cafe 比一般 cafe 足滿住極濃厚嘅青春氣色。連間唔時會畀小朋友叫叔叔嘅我,都突然覺得年輕咗十年。另一亮點係,感受台灣年輕人嘅文化。喺香港,無論大型連鎖店,或者小型上樓 cafe,招待顧人的一套用語彷彿從錄音機播出的,太 standard、欠缺語氣上變化、甚至有點型式主意,了無生氣。因此對於呢度侍應嘅招待,會頗有新鮮感。可能因為我少接觸台灣人,又或我未去過台灣嘅原因。由於大家都食飽先嚟,都只叫左杯飲品傾下計。其間,有兩三個侍應走嚟問我地駛唔駛叫小食。若果換著係港式餐廳發生,我一定會覺得佢地想 hard sell。而今次,我會認為係大家文化嘅差異,又或者佢地真係好奇怪我地做咩唔叫小窩夫三文治小食,都幾有趣,亦唔會覺得反感。順帶一提,侍應係同你講國語嘅。國語唔流利嘅我,尋晚竟然爆發小宇宙,流利左一番。…Read More

話說早幾個禮拜樓下幫襯開呢檔街頭小食舖既老闆,突然講話會休息兩個禮拜裝修。當時我都打個突,心諗裝修都好既,舖面望落會整潔啲舒服嘛。點知過左個幾禮拜都無咩動靜,差啲以為佢唔做,少咗檔咁多香港街頭小食既檔口會好可惜架嘛。最後過左兩個幾星期,見到遠處有檔新開張,門口放晒花牌祝賀。再望真啲賣啲咩同班伙記係咩人,發覺原來係係街頭小食呢檔搬左舖位。第一時間,梗係買番個炸蠔餅,止下癮先。其實尋日中午嗰餐先食完生蠔嚟,今晚再食蠔仔。一個貴,一個平,但都同樣好味。美味,真係可以好簡單。呢期啲蠔仔好鬼肥,望見到流口水。老闆「蠔餅專家」話啲蠔仔呢期「當造」喎。今次叫左老闆幫我加啲碎芫茜一齊炸。蠔、芫茜、葱花幾種都係帶有腥味既食材,炸完加上胡椒粉,真係香到街尾都聞得到。正常老闆炸啲蠔餅係炸完先加芫茜的,但我覺得加埋一齊炸會有多陣清甜味,正!由於未食晚飯,今次加左幾串串燒。唔知係咪街頭本身有檔都賣串燒有競爭,感覺上依家好似大串咗,幸好價錢不變。所以話,有競爭,先有進步。當然,最開心嘅梗係消費者啦。除此之外,可以挑剔下嘅就係,好多時佢啲串燒已經係燒好咗放喺度,好處當然係客人可以快啲買到唔駛等咁耐,但唔好嘅係,翻燒的話啲肉質有時會乾身咗少少,比著我就寧願等耐啲嘞。仲有,我個人較喜歡啲肉唔好醃得太重鹽,否則會蓋過咗本身肉味同沙嗲味整體上就會缺少咗份鮮味了。…Read More

十幾廿年前住友愛村,一過十點 D 車仔檔就會出黎聚集o係友愛村巴士站一帶做生意,印像中最繁盛時期至少有三十檔以上。有賣衣服玩具日用品等乾貨,而熟食檔種類非常多,除左煎釀三寶同滾魚彈牛柏葉水魷之外,另外仲有炒河粉麵、車仔麵、清湯牛丸豬肉丸(以前啲粒粒手打既好香)、沙嗲串燒、雜果涼粉珍多冰、自製燒賣粉果牛肉球、豬腸粉、格仔餅雞蛋仔、炒雞翼尖、炸蠔餅、炸大腸等。雖然呢啲嘢好似大部份依家都有人賣,但當年o果種成條街都係車仔檔,人多擠迫得好比會展美食展既「繁華」場面已經不復再。可能因為再無機會再食既關係,又或者依家間間賣既工場大量生產既貨,硬係覺得以前嗰啲好味好多。當中炸蠔餅係我既至愛,而食蠔餅呢個習慣係老豆影響既。最初食蠔覺得陣味好腥,加上生蔥花芫茜o係面頭簡直腥上加腥。蠔,正如芝士紅酒、黑松露、榴槤、海膽等,當你懂得欣賞箇中獨特味道既時候,就係你上癮之時。呢檔小食檔開業已經有一年,最初佢掛個牌寫住「蠔餅專家」四隻字,我走去問老闆講笑話:「專家咁勁呀?」傾左幾句發覺原來佢係以前都有o係友愛村度賣炸蠔餅,當堂覺得倍感親切,夜晚放工就算唔幫親,見到都會打聲招呼。以一個炸左十幾廿年蠔餅既人來講,「專家」二字當之無愧。講番正經,我試過好多潮州打冷、廟街、酒樓既蠔餅,我對蠔餅自問幾有要求。呢檔賣既蠔餅真係幾有水準,好過廟街好多檔同好多打冷檔。要知道人地賣炸蠔餅只係店內其中一樣食物,而佢專心一意賣炸蠔餅,原先只得 80 分,我都會比多 10 分佢。這 10 分,就係畀佢既敬佢既專業,同街坊食肆嗰份人情味。講到咁好,點解都唔比滿分呢?無他既,o係我心目中最好既始終係細過夜晚老豆加班買番黎屋企o係底蠔餅。另外,好似所有食肆一樣,佢每次整既,水準間唔時都有上落。有時整得餅底鬆軟香脆,蠔仔又夠香又 juicy;而有時食落就一般般。總體上都係值得返轉頭幫襯。仲有一個貼士,就係我會叫老闆落芫茜去粉漿度一齊炸,芫茜碎炸過之後有清甜味道,好夾蠔仔陣味的。另外老闆問要炸得脆啲定要淋啲既時候,我會選擇淋啲,咁啲蠔會 juicy 啲架!…Read More

o係香港,一講食日本野,應該有唔少人都會有多少去食高尚野、貴野o果種虛榮。這可能源在日本國土的食肆,人地真係大至裝修佈置,及至一烹飪細節上都會花左唔少心思,加上消費物價指數整體都高於香港,連o係街邊食碗拉麵都可以成舊水都係普遍事。o係香港?樓下食碗$20 既雲吞麵,分分鐘都比客人話貴。福島核事故後,一向都以(/扮)日本進口食材自居的日本野舖頭,都立即貼上告示同日本食材劃清界線,由日本料理食肆,「正名」為日本*製法*料理,看見香港食肆老闆靈活拆招值得稱讚,但亦同時揭露了,以前大家比貴o的諗住食日本進口食材的同時,其實背地裡也只是給你其他地方進口的較廉價貨。世上沒有幾多個食神,沒太多人會真的分出食材的質量。食野主要功能是填肚子,其次是作為一種社交功具,當然亦有人希望藉此去享受生活。回說正題,八王子拉麵在這裡食評不算差,讚多彈少,加上團購廿多元的價錢,亦都值得一試的。一坐低,Waiter 就說沒有牛朋清湯底,好似話未煲好。o下?拉麵湯底不嬲係成碗麵既精綷,傳統係要用真材實料煲十幾個鐘先得既。我食o果陣下晝六點,佢竟然話未煲好?!早排睇報紙講話某拉麵連鎖店被發現部份湯底也只是使用濃縮湯底,提醒自己「一分錢一貨」定律,估計行內大多數的做法也差不多,令人懷疑佢呢度係咪唔想比o的成本高既湯底我,而淨係比超市都買到既豬骨濃湯濃縮液開水比我算。我同朋友叫了豬組拉麵和玉子拉麵。兩碗拉麵配料都好足,都有半隻溏心蛋,芽菜、魚片、昆布等。豚組即係豬肉粒,佢有烤過,幾香幾軟。而玉子拉麵就多了一隻溏心蛋,加幾片好好味既煎香左豬頸肉片,好好味呀!環境方面,我這副著XL 碼的身驅似乎要坐上 M碼的桌椅的確擠了少許,由於椅背和椅背差不多是對靠的,背囊或袋子也只可許在大腿上,坐得不太舒服,冷氣又很弱,吃很我同朋友都成頭汗,不知是否老闆想著人客吃完快點走做多兩輪生意的鬼主意呢?唔好當自己做梗賣$10 雲吞麵先得架!…Read More

OK 啦,其實都唔係真係咁差o者

早兩個月上網見到呢個鐵板餐團購,見到佢廿九蚊,就算唔好食都唔會點蝕底,於是一口氣買左幾張coupon諗住下次同朋友re-u 食。丫,點知re-u 前一日想去book 已經full 左,o果次結果就揀左去第二度食。事隔一個月又心血來潮,再約另一班朋友去食呢個平價鐵板餐。心諗有咁多人買左團購,實有人去完之後o係呢度寫食評既。嘩,一睇就不得了囉。心諗死勒,篇篇都係喊晒口咁濟,點算好?唯有不斷咁同自己講,廿幾三十蚊一個鐵板餐,都唔好咁高期望啦。好彩今次約呢班都唔會好港男港女性格,就算唔好食至多比人即場鬧兩句,唔會事後背後唱你一大輪話你貪小便宜厄人去咁咁咁。正如其中一位朋友講:o係大O樂一個鐵板餐都要四十幾。對我黎講,食抵食先係開心既。出發前,我已經叫左朋友們睇一睇人地o的食評,留意下要額外加費既地方,有定個心理準備。雖然o的食評批評得有o的負面,但其實睇真又真係有o的好笑。我真係未聽過鐵板餐轉第二隻汁係要加錢 ($3),薯菜轉飯或意粉又要加錢 ($5)。雖然個團購優惠真係算幾平,算係種幾好o既宣傳,但太計較反而令到顧客食左一次就唔返轉頭,仲分分鐘比人唱衰個招牌,就真係因小失大。團購鐵板餐有六款揀,跟湯及飲品,看過食評的我們都不願冒險吃牛扒,點了雜扒、雞扒和豬扒餐。白湯配料較少,幸運的話,會有機會吃到兩、三粒雞肉,素翅或紅蘿蔔碎,而紅湯正如其他食評所寫較稀,但蕃茄味、酸味仍是有的,算上有一般快餐店水準。鐵板餐方面,我們全都要了不用加錢的燒汁和薯菜。說真的,鐵板上桌時是熱辣辣的,有煙霧出,吃薯條配菜時也熱到唔可以即時放入口。至於份量方面,其實和市面一般快餐店茶餐廳食肆差唔多。配菜每份有大約十條薯條及總數8粒翠肉瓜及紅蘿蔔,女士吃絕對足夠,男士吃的話就真係爭少少。咁梗係啦,通常呢o的餐最飽肚係碗飯架嘛,佢其實比多一倍薯條或者比多少少飯就已經可以令到顧客飽番晒,要知道成本最貴係o的扒,飯意粉根本都唔值錢,依家扣減左最唔值錢既飯,攪到有人食唔飽o係度嘈既話又有乜為呢? 飲品方面,我們全叫了凍檸茶,屬正常水準。講真,就就係貴價餐廳,o的檸茶奶茶其實都係差唔多,都冇咩話特別好特別差。最後埋單每個餐比番$3 服務費,即係連團購價錢 $32 一個餐。其實只要安份守紀,唔好轉汁,唔好硬係改飯或者意粉,唔好當自己去左高級餐廳或者酒店食梗餐,比番$32 一個餐既價錢真係已收貨有餘啦!老實講,平時下晝去食個碟頭飯都要三四十蚊。晚飯時間 + 尖沙咀區 + café 環境,佢平時正價五十幾蚊都真係叫公道啦!總括來說這個團購餐算抵食,雖未至於話有驚喜,但至少唔會話失望而回。由於食團購餐,未有機會試佢有o的咩特式食物,所以都唔會話會推介,但若果行過呢頭搵個地方坐下食下野傾計,呢度都唔會係一個令人抗拒既地方,當然若果山長水遠特登黎既就唔會啦。…Read More

龍門居呢頭出名小食宵夜選擇多,除左煎釀寶寶、車仔麵、夾餅雞蛋仔、師奶方便小菜、即炒粉麵飯、粉仔碗仔魚翅、炸雞印尼串燒乜都有。咁多年黎好多唔同既小食店出現過,但唔係間間都做得住腳,主要原因就係好多都缺乏新意冇賣點,又或者客路少。呢間老朱o係呢度都差唔多有十年,算係老店之一。老朱以前淨係賣早餐,主要賣豬腸粉、炒米炒麵,同皮蛋瘦肉粥;呢兩年可能經濟差左,或者毛利少左,依家做埋午市夜市宵夜市,夜晚就主打賣生滾粥,見幾個老細由朝做到晚真係都幾佩服。見佢地通宵咁整幾百粒燒賣肉牛第二朝賣,都真係唔敢再同人講自己返工辛苦。呢間舖頭無裝修可言,舖頭大部份空間都係廚房,食物就o係門口賣。門外望入去,話好衛生就講唔上,但考慮到間舖做左咁多年,都好正常,最梗要就係食左咁多年都未試過有肚痛,所以都冇問題!舖頭冇堂食,只有外賣,o的客多數都係買完趕住搭車返工,所以唔覺有咩問題。不過舖仔雖小,但服務真係無得彈!買腸粉買炒麵,佢實會問駛唔駛加甜醬辣醬芝麻等等,要多要少,個個客人都問足呢幾句。有時間o的熟客o黎買,佢仲會記得佢地o的喜好。要知道你只係買梗 5蚊 7蚊野食,所以佢地呢種服務態道真係無得彈!腸粉最梗要係腸粉夠熱夠軟,醬料好味,佢完全乎合到(但晚市可能去貨慢,有時會蒸耐o左硬身o左少少);而炒米粉炒麵方便,佢既正常份量係會爆滿一個飯盒,攪到我每次都要同提佢幫我「扣底」,而佐料都好豐富,有好紅蘿蔔絲、椰菜、炒蛋,仲有大大粒既午餐肉!咁都不特止,佢仲要比個飯盒你裝住方便食,都$7 ,抵到宇宙大爆炸!另一特式小食係佢既自家製燒賣同牛肉球,燒賣$5 三粒,用料口感味道都好過平時街買o果o的,牛肉球就大到好似個乒乓球咁大,一串兩粒都係$5,基本上四粒就夠飽。自從上開市區o的茶廳餐o的早餐脹價超過廿蚊心理關口位之後,早餐我就多數幫襯佢。正當出面舖頭都仲大幅加價,佢仲維持梗幾蚊幾蚊既價錢,就有咁好既服務態度,真係無得彈,難得難得!係現今大財團既攏斷底下,呢類小店真係藉得大家多多支持。咁多年o黎o係 Openrice 都冇建樹既我都覺得係時候做番o的野,寫番篇食評去表揚一下呢間老朱先得!…Read More
