因疫情關係減少了外出用膳,幸好深味餃子提供外賣生餃,在家也能夠享用皮薄餡靚的餃子,而最近的外賣都換了餃子分隔盒,非常方便,隔天才煮餃子亦不會黏在一起。當中首選黑松露芝士豬肉餃,一打開盒已聞到黑松露的香味,煮熟後在薄薄的餃子皮下透出黑松露醬的顏色,配合煮溶了的芝士,味道一流,實在令人百吃不厭。另一款椰菜雲耳豬肉餃,豬肉味香甜,雲耳令餃子增加了爽脆口感,是較清淡的選擇。韮菜豬肉餃韮菜味香但又不會蓋過豬肉的鮮味。野菌豬肉餃野菌味香濃,但餃子質感相對較腍。…Read More

朋友推介這間餐廳,剛好見到有放題優惠便去試試。$498 A5和牛放題的精選部位是肩胛和胸腹兩款,升級的話則只可以點後腿一款,店員亦不建議升級,所以就選了$498放題;飲品放題沒有生啤,所以沒選。蔬菜拼盤由於沒什麼特別,所以沒有加錢追加,雞肉嫩滑,豬肉正常。和牛除了第一碟有兩款肉外,其餘的只有一款肉,後來店員表示只剩一款,而送來的肉亦越來越"鞋"。此外由於牛肉切得極薄,一烤便熟,加上上菜速度極慢,平均要十分鐘,即使一次點兩碟亦只會上一碟,所以實在是考驗大家的耐性。和牛漢堡只需把麵包略為烤脆,再自行組裝,味道一般。甜品是紅豆雪糕,沒有其他口味選擇。結論是:整頓飯根本不值這個價錢。…Read More

早前看了主廚的比賽節目後便決定來朝聖。餐廳廚房為半開放式設計,很高興見到主廚坐陣,不過也許是要減低廚房內的聲音,餐廳的背景音樂的音量相對較大。首先當然不能錯過在節目內曾出現的帶子 (cured hokkaido scallops with confit fennel, salt cod mousse, apple lace),配上茴香和柚子汁,非常清新,蘋果脆片十分精緻,亦增添了不同的口感。沙甸魚 (pan fried sardine with pea pesto, salad of snap peas, broad beans and hazelnut) 這種煎炸的做法還是首次嚐到,味道香脆可口,豆沙律亦非常美味。薯仔粉糰(sautéed potato gnocchi with charred cevenne onion, shiitake duxelle and parmesan) 表面煎至金黃色,口感柔軟,巴馬芝士香氣四溢。和牛(pan seared wagyu 9+ rump cap with charred cauliflower , cabbage, yamaimo and pepper sauce) 質素當然不容置疑,反而最有驚喜的是伴碟的烤蔬菜,令人讚不絕口。烤羊 (roasted noisette of lamp with jerusalem artichoke, harissa, mustard greens, lamb jus) 同樣是肉嫩多汁,但相比之下始終和牛略勝一籌。乳酪雪糕 (yuzu and lemon posset, mandarin and yoghurt ice cream, white chocolate tuile) 味道清爽。點心 (petit fours) 是外層焦脆內層煙韌的可麗露 (canelé) 和軟心朱古力 (chocolate truffle)。當晚是星期一,除了因限聚令而要隔枱,基本上是滿座,證明有質素的餐廳仍是很受歡迎的。…Read More

朋友推介這間沾麵店多時,終於有機會一試。朋友點的黑蒜油豚骨沾麵十分香濃,甚有日本風味,但個人覺得較鹹;我點了蕃茄紅油沾麵,蕃茄味濃和偏甜,雖然紅油令沾麵湯較油膩,但無損其美味。湯內的溏心蛋非常流心,不過叉燒和角煮豚肉肉質不算嫩,口感一般。最驚喜的是麵條非常有咬口,其間有客人問店員可否選擇麵的硬度,店員表示師傅已預設了合適的硬度,除非特別要求,否則可以先試一試,而師傅的確把麵的質感控制得很好。朋友表示閒日和週末人流亦不算太多,基本上都不需要排隊,店內亦不會太擠迫。…Read More

這天和同事走到蜆殻街,決定去這間醉燒亭,由於沒有訂座,所以只能安排坐吧枱。看到吧枱內師傅忙碌地燒串燒,最後點了一串鹽燒牛柳和燒鰻魚配冬菇肉碎飯,雖然覺得與鰻魚不太配,但冬菇肉碎飯不能改,所以就即管試試。不久侍應便送上麵豉湯和沙律,兩款都平平無奇。等了一會,正當我們期待師傅何時會燒鰻魚的時候,侍應從另一扇門捧著鰻魚飯出來,鰻魚只是暖,明顯是稍微加熱便上菜,冬菇肉醉飯味道一般,飯只有薄薄的一層,份量實在少得有點過分。鹽燒牛柳雖然是即燒,但牛肉非常腍而欠肉味⋯仔細想想,在日本吃一個鰻魚飯也要二百元以上,現在只需一半的價錢也不滿意,也許是我的要求過高吧。…Read More

假日下午到荃灣午飯,想起了吃吉列牛的秘。進店時已是2:40,但仍有半滿,立刻點了兩份午餐。約五分鐘後,侍應便送上午餐,可能因為快要落場,所以十分有效率。板燒吉列牛燒過後依然肉汁豐富,外脆內軟,調味適中,不過牛味比較淡。黑松露吉列牛肉質與普通吉列牛分別不大,但多了香濃的黑松露的味道,相對稍微鹹一點,兩款牛不用加醬汁也夠味。至於飯素,個人覺得比較鹹,但是相公覺得味道剛剛好,而溏心蛋味道正常。由於店內坐位較為擠迫,所以我們都選在非繁忙時段才去,以省去排隊的時間。…Read More
