我對食物質素, 特別是自己喜歡既食物; 如西餐, 牛扒, 甜品等有著強烈執著. 同時亦會抱著客觀條件評價. 價錢較平既地方, 如茶記, 麵鋪等等自然將價就貨, 調整祈望及要求. 所以往往同朋友出外用膳時, 大家都"旨意晒我"! 眼見o係openrice上有好多好評的餐廳到我捧場時都覺得"中伏"; 我希望以我既熱血及對食物既執著可以為大家帶來可靠中肯既食評, 以免大家o徙錢又掃興. 辛苦搵來自在食嘛, 一間有水準, 服務有質素而環境又舒適既餐廳實在有點可遇不可求. 若加上價錢又公道的話 -- 唔知要盲試幾耐先會遇到?? 若再加上穩定地你每次去都一樣咁好既餐廳, 我都想知有無???

Orange Tree 搬左去新店之後今晚第一次幫襯, 新店位於LKF一舊式商廈5樓, 因其他樓層都有餐廳, 人多時要o係好窄既大堂排隊等lift.  而舊式lift既載客量唔高, 所以要預留時間.新店座位似乎比以前多, 及更闊落舒適.  我同朋友選擇星期四晚上係好明智之舉, 因整晚人客唔多, 好似只有5枱 (有3枱都係慶祝生日:), 所以更有空間慼, 出餐時間更快, 服務亦更貼心, 餐廳相對亦較靜; 十分適合開支酒慢慢傾計.  我地選擇一支2013年份既Pinot Noir, 朋友喜歡清清地既提子味.  仲大讚唔駛$400, 取價公道:.我地skip左appetizer直接叫左2個主菜share.  12oz Dutch veal chop ($368) medium跟green pepper corn sauce 同一個原條Pan Fried Dover Sole ($378).  Veal Chop grill得好香charcoal味, 好林好juicy又好夠份量, 塊veal油份剛剛好, 只係近骨部份無處理得好, 所以黏住好多肉, o徙左.   骨頭應該grill耐少少, 會離肉同香好多.另外個Dover Sole係我既選擇, 魚肉厚身, 可惜略見煎得過火, 魚肉乾及有一點點鞋.  整條魚欠缺香味, 所以算係失色.  我地order左一份white asparagus side dish ($88), 因現在係白露荀季節, 露荀好嫩, 配合cream sauce令人開胃.最後, 我同朋友一人叫一個dessert.  我叫左blueberry gelato cheese cake ($88), order Tiramisu with Macadamia nuts gelato.  第一啖gelato入口就食到好多冰碎, gelato既棉滑口感全無.  要讚既係我個cheese cake上面鋪滿大粒既blueburry, 一D都唔姑寒, cheese cake味道都唔錯啦.  如果gelato可以改用好味D既話整個甜品就一定會加分.因我地用一個app訂枱可享7折(酒水飲品除外), 所以淨係支酒無折, 2個主菜, 一個side dish, 同2個dessert全部7折後一共$1,214.  人均$610.  中環區歐洲菜色算係合理. …Read More

紅磡碼頭唔係一個十分就腳既地方, 但有一間新酒店O係附近開左之後, 再加上隔離既百味村, 人流就旺左好多.  話雖如此, 其實我都係有一日見悶悶地由尖東海旁一路行到紅磡先發現一條咁好行既海濱長廊同百味村呢個地方.  當日仲要係黃昏時分, 好好feel. 之後, 我就約埋朋友一心要試試百味村既美食.  百味村入面就一個food court既格局, 但 chill D, 同有海景.  因為係酒店管理, 裝修同食物質素都有番咁上下.  第一次幫襯, 逐間睇左自己鍾意既食物就可以搵張枱坐低, 然後download 個app去order同比錢.  之後個order就會有人送到枱上, 所以唔好柯打左之後轉枱.  所有食物包括飲料都有專人送到.  免除攞住食物搵位既麻煩.  因新開有promotion, 全單折後大約$240.  即每位$120, 超值. 我地叫左韓, 日, 泰.  其他選擇仲有港式 (牛腩麵, 餃子), 及 burgers等.  我地叫既韓式酸甜烤雞同炸蝦餅真係一食愛上.  個日式鰻魚卷都好好味, 只係其餘兩樣太正, 被比下去.  睇相就知我無誇張架.  我時時都會show比朋友同同事睇, 推介比佢地.  不過好多時得到既feedback都係唔知點去果度.  如果夜晚去, 食飽飽後行O下海旁吹住海風睇夜景, 真係寧靜又無價.  香港咁好既美景已經買少見少, 希望可以一直保持落去.…Read More

入到Pepino先發現原來以前已經嚟過, 因出𨋢後要行入buffet area先會見到Pepino入口, 位置有啲迂迴, 所以有印象.  整晚嘅食飯經驗覺得感覺最良好嘅就係佢哋嘅服務。 我地叫咗支紅酒之後女侍應就遞上麵包, 好味又熱辣辣嘅focacia。另一個亮點係, 個menu會發光既, 有老花都唔怕頭盤係 Carparcio ($188), 我認為鮮度一般,但份量十足。Main course 我地share左個 beef tenderloin medium to rare ($398), 兩個beef dish都一般。呢個主菜欠缺肉味,但勝在唔韌亦煮得啱啱好。呢個價唔多值,但用OpenRice book枱有7折,變番抵食啲。食食吓我地要求要多啲麵包, 女侍應畀我哋揀,我哋揀咗蒜蓉包($48), 但我哋簽單時先知要原來收錢嘅最後我地又share左個apple crumble with ice cream($88), 賣相討好,但crumble 唔夠脆亦欠缺香味(太少玉桂), 做apple crumble嘅蘋果最好帶酸一啲, 焗起加埋雪糕先至會好味, 呢到嘅apple crumble最多只係6分。因我地係散叫, 所以除左支紅油,其他都有7折。全單$860,人均$430算合理。不過我地頭盤,正餐同甜品都係share既。但我想再重複,服務好好, 令我哋有一個愉快又舒適安靜嘅晚上…Read More

Le Souk is a tiny restaurant with friendly staff and lovely decor.  Unlike most of the Chinese restaurant service, they gave us freedom to choose our table, to make ourselves as spacious and comfy as we like.  I can't comment on other dishes, but the food we ordered are very much like reheated pre-packed microwave food.  The frozen prawns with loads of frozen green peas, some broccoli, the supermarket quality pita bread and the hummus (not house made I guess).  I wondered if they have a proper kitchen/chef behind the back doors.  We were indeed unhappy with what we saw, no need to mention those ingredients were unable to excite our taste buds.  Luckily, the drinks adorned the evening, and they even handed 2 glasses of bubbling wines to us for free after we asked for the bill (don't think they did so because we're not pleased by their food, in fact we didn't say a word about that at all). They tried to convenience us to order more but we decided to try out somewhere else. 自從我唔喺尖沙咀番工之後就極少番嚟呢邊行街。今日久別重逢,發覺人面全非。前身係一間日式餐廳既位置如今變成台灣人氣店度小月.  記得多年前去過台北既度小月, 但印象中好迫同食物比較咸同多油.  今日得我一個人開餐, 所以只叫兩款食物.  佢地整擔仔麵同肉燥飯既地方就O係正入口處, O係門口等位時已經可以望到及聞到香味.  真係令人越等越餓.  到入坐時, 一入樓面已經被其他人客桌上食物既陣陣香味吸引.  急不及待, 盡快點餐.  有D服務員都係講國語, 坐隔離枱都係......好有去左台灣既慼覺.  雖然要搭枱用餐時間又限制1.5小時, 但一個人既晚餐絕對ok.  若果人多, 1.5小時就比較急.  還好佢地上菜都幾快.服務員上擔仔麵既時候貼心提醒"先攪拌一下才吃" (<--講國語).  呢個擔仔麵唔辣既, 上面既蝦似點綴成份較多, 我個人認為無因為隻蝦特別錦上添花.  麵質少少偏硬條理分明, 我喜歡 因每一碗都係即叫即做.個灸烤胡椒肉我比10分滿分, 根本無野可以扣分.  胡椒味十足, 香味辣味肉味完美演繹.  肉質肥瘦平衡, 本身已經唔係油膩, 肉質都幾爽口.  胡椒味好豐富, 旁邊附有醋汁解膩, 但點醋汁後反而減少左胡椒味, 所以唔點任何汁直接食用更原汁原味.  呢個灸烤胡椒肉我下次再來一定要番單.  $68一碟CP值高.  擔仔麵($28)  灸烤胡椒肉($68)…Read More

門面及燈光比人好舒服既感覺, 坐位舒適, overall set up亦唔錯, 絕對係fine dining既水準,有啲可惜係比佢地既service破壞左第一印象。Waiter攞menu嚟既時候首先介紹一個$998 wine pairing menu, 但因朋友唔飲酒所以我地開始睇另一個 dinner menu, 但竟然呢位waiter又再一次將呢個wine pairing擺喺我地睇緊既menu上面我地直接話叫另一個餐。佢意識到並開始介紹點樣配搭, 本來一個$398既餐入面有一半選擇都要另加錢。最後, 我地無叫wine既情況之下都要每位接近$700埋單。但係食物係有驚喜既。一開始個home made bread basket啲包好食, 仲熱辣辣, 配有自家醬(唔太記得咩味, 應該係腐乳之類既中式味道)。喜唔喜歡就見仁見智!:)我地點左兩粒份子小籠包, 唔。。。。。我感覺係一粒盛有小籠包味湯汁既湯圓, $78一粒,幾貴既體驗。後來呻笨,叫杯酒好過前菜同甜品我兩個都揀左要加錢既, 而我個mains就好特別, 煎魚加入中式元素。個汁係紅燒肉汁,更附有一啲肉碎。碟底就用煮林既黃豆墊底。朋友既頭盤同甜品都用上liquid nitrogen液化氮制造冷凍效果及提升仙氣。我個甜品係話梅雪芭,有趣又解膩其實單純計食物質素係一個好好既用餐體驗, 若果服務質素方面可以提高就perfect.我有一日想再去所以預先一晚打去訂枱,但講電話時我再度感覺唔舒服。 後來因晚飯改期最後都cancel左。希望下次再去可以由頭至尾都食得同坐得舒舒服服!…Read More

The location and ambience were able to reassure that they are a fine dining restaurant. However, as the floor staff led us to our table, my mood turned up side down:(. Its a squeezed-in table barely placed at the end of the passage just next to the trays they put the soiled dishes, and the two of us were arranged to sit side by side, its kinda Cafe de Coral seating. I refused to sit down but a manager-like guy promised he will change for us once they have an empty table. There was just an empty table by the window but he refused to offer us he said someone booked for anniversary and they ordered a cake....so on and so forth.....we did saw a couple sat down but they left after 5 min., very soon they settled another pair at that table and their promise to change table for us just vanished. It was obvious that the manager-like staff lied and failed to follow up on what he promised. Good thing or bad, I didn't see him anymore the rest of the evening. Anyway, later as we saw someone asked for the bill we initiated the request again and another smart staff ensured us a smooth transfer. So much about the table arrangement, let's get back to their food. Honestly I don't have much to say about the food as all were being ordered by my friend. I was quite impressed by the lack of taste of the slow roasted rib despite portion and display were both nice. It could have been a great dish if the flavor of beef was stronger. We also had a lobster spaghetti, ummmm.....spaghetti wasn't al dente and the flavor of fresh lobster was absent. Its a B- dish if I had to rate it. We ordered fries on the side, I warn you not to if you are serious about fries. Their fries were very thin, they gone flat fast, they became chewy half way thru the dinner.Last but not least, their desserts. As we were unable to finish all mains, so we only ordered 1 apple crumble to share. Again, if you are serious about it, don't try. Nothing seem right on this apple crumble. the crumbles wasn't crunchy, the apple content......awrrr....don't wanna mention it. its apple dices in different shapes and sizes so some of them are cooked whilst larger dices were still crunchy. I was like eating a half cooked dessert. Its a very disappointing finale of the evening. To start with.....a bad table arrangement and to end with a half cooked dessert. We found it a bit over rated as we were not very much impressed by their service, quality of food, taste of food and the atmosphere (we were disturbed by a noisy table, the gals talked like shouting) :(.The venue was crowded with their floor staff, when I was being led by one of them to my table another staff jammed between us as she seemed like she was in a rush to serve another table; this happened when I was on my way to the loo, a guy staff had no intention to give way to me.  We ordered a half bottle red as my friend had to drive but he was changing mind when our wine arrived, the staff looked a bit unhappy although he tried to wear some smile on his face.  :(Don't expect the food to be any surprisingly impressive.  The avocado salmon salsa arrived before our starter, its not tastefully seasoned but ingredients were fresh that added natural flavor to itself.  Our starters were scallop tacos and king crab tostadas, the scallop tacos was the best dish of the night. I was a bit disappointed by the king crab tastadas, the crab meat was tasteless and tender. its not worth $260.  We have 400g Korean beef as our main, $1,520 for 400g is too expensive and this poor little beef just sat alone on the pan without anything else.  Let's call this minimalism .  It's nothing that can be compared with beef we have in Korea, not a dish that anyone will miss or reorder.   We shouldn't have ordered mac & blue cheese as a side, it's very heavy that we only barely be able to finish half of it.  We didn't order any dessert as we're so full by the beef and mac, we asked for the bill as we finished our wine.  A waiter brought a petit four to our table....com'on, do you call it a petit four when you offer 2 pieces of your sweet to each customer (correct me please if I'm wrong)?  Sometimes it just makes me hesitate how some restaurants earn their Michellin star without really doing good service & food but pricey menu, perhaps the ambience was the key, but I was not convinced!!! …Read More

今晚係同8年無見既舊老細食飯, 一心想搵個大家就腳又有車位既地方,最近我經常到荔枝角搵食所以經過一番搜尋後提議G. Cuisine. 其實今晚我地食飯為名聚舊為實, 最緊要坐得舒服又唔嘈,可以叫番支酒慢慢傾計, 食物水準反而唔係重點。 但,驚喜既係食頭盤時老細已經讚好食。G. Cuisine地方頗細, 我book 枱時要求要張較靜既枱,佢地安排左張靠角落既枱比我地, 隔離本來仲有張2人枱,後來比埋我地放酒,所以有種自成一角既感覺, 係咁一路傾一路食不經不覺由7點幾坐到差不多11點; 其他人客一早都走晒佢地都無比壓力我地👍。 我地4個人都選擇叫dinner set, 3個要angus beef with truffle sauce, 得我要sea bass. 但4個頭盤都一致係磯燒生蚝啫喱沙律。所謂啫喱就係沙律入面藏有2粒好似係可樂味既啫喱,唔……幾得意既配搭👍 但頭盤最搶眼既就係個磯燒蚝,大小適中,肉質脆而且味道好香。我個sea bass到嘞,用一個熱辣辣既碟出場(加分😋), 真係好功力, 魚剛剛熟, 魚肉超滑嫩🎊, 雖然sea bass魚皮厚身, 但一啲都唔腥而且煎到微趣,平時我唔係好啱但今次都食晒💕(好多omega3😇😂)。3份angus beef都係6成熟(朋友話費事撈亂😂😂), 我試左一件,好軟林林無渣亦無煎過龍, 但我嫌牛味唔夠香。唉呀…老細果碟點解勁多筋🙈🙈🙈。好彩佢唔介意。呢度有個跟餐甜品menu, $30一份,價錢真係超合理。我地要左2個apple crumble, 一個panna cotta, 同我既lemon tart。老實講, 如果收$50一份就唔值,因幾樣都一般水準。不過, 我地志在聚舊傾計, 坐左差不多4個鐘, 服務十分周到, 最讚係唔會周時行嚟打斷我地傾計👍👍👍恰如其分, very good 。 我地4個都十分享受呢一餐, 傾飽飲飽食飽, 皆大歡喜!4個dinner set, 2支酒, 4個dessert, 平均$560. per head. 合情合理,值得再嚟,值得推介👏👏👏…Read More

約左 朋友星期日喺The Hunt late lunch, 朋友睇到有負評起初有啲擔心, 想轉地方。但最後都決定一搏,嚟過之後更令我覺得好多食評都的確好personal. 睇過相, 唔係差到咁; 入到去, 服務又好正常。水----->要自己斟,星×克都係咁。位----->要自己搵,都應該吖!星×克都係咁格。既然係coffee shop style, 無問題呀.Anyway, 我一入門口就有位waitress有禮咁問我想坐邊, 當時仲有window sofa seat我就坐低左. 隔離又有一枱韓國男女,即時好有旅行feel.  呢位waitress就遞上menu, 我向佢要杯水, 佢都有禮咁同我講其實係自助, 因為近水吧有個water fountain.  但佢都攞比我, 提我一陣自己斟.  我坐左20分鐘朋友先到, 朋友到後我地又用左半個鐘傾計同睇戰利品.  搞左差不多1個鐘先開始叫野食 (無人催我地同黑我地面)  落柯打都係自助, 總之同星×克一樣, 但坐得舒服D, 闊落同decent D.  然而, 食品價錢亦屬合理; 一個 all day breakfast ($118) 都OK啦.  Latte ($38) Americano($36), 好合理吖.  唯一我嫌Americano既味唔夠香, 咖啡偏酸, 傾傾o下計擺耐左仲酸 (飲第一啖有懷疑過係唔係用咖啡粉).  而且, 得6分滿 (請看圖, 雖然已經講明唔加奶).The Hunt附近較多工廈, 平日旺唔旺就唔知, 但我認為絕對係週末hea tea既好去處.  我同朋友由佢得兩枱客坐到差不多full house, 頭尾坐左兩個半鐘無人會催你, 騷擾你, 黑你面或者搭枱.  環境, 服務及食物都有8分以上, 係該區一個好好既休閒好坐既好地方!!!…Read More

似係試業中......餐牌上好多野都無既!!!

喺openrice見到居廬晉家門嚟嚟去去都係幾味以為係招牌菜, 點知原來餐牌上好多食物都未有提供。而且, 無酒牌及只收cash.  十足試業階段咁.服務.....  我建議, 真係要請一兩個有經驗既人帶住.  而家既service令人好唔舒服, 感覺好怪.  我地兩個人, 斟水可以只斟一位, 因佢地無酒牌, 要o係佢地另一間位於附近既吧攞drink list o黎.   6, 7頁既drink list其實得幾款係有既, waitress一輪嘴數呢個有呢個有呢個無呢個有呢個無 :( 記得就奇.  我地都唔想o徒時間, 是但點!!!!  後來到食完野埋單時佢地唔記得收飲品錢, 好彩我地仲傾緊計未走, 坐坐O下佢地再攞張單埋o黎, 當時先知成$80一支手工啤.  好貴喔.  我明明book左枱, 我到既時候帶我坐呢度坐果度咁.  後來有個o係出面行入o黎既女仔(無表明身份), 再問我有無訂枱同問我攞電話號碼........o下........你係.......係係?????  係邊位呢??????蒜蓉包($48)很讚.   好脆, 肯定係即叫即焗.  牛油雞亦($78)唔夠味, 但一樣係好脆.  酸甜海鮮沙律($168)既酸甜味係來自泰式雞醬.  我就覺得呢個味太甜, 如果混合番少少檸檬汁同魚露吊番少少鹹味會好D, 不過都係個人意見.  朋友點左煎鵝肝配紅酒燴梨($98), 我問佢有無紅酒味, 佢話無, 咁個梨呢? ........>>>>>>可能變左沙律菜.  另外, 餐後朋友點既玫瑰拿鐵($42), 佢話只係暖暖地.  飯後, 我地好認真咁睇個dessert menu, 睇果時佢地都唔主動出聲, 到order時先發現得圖中呢個($78), 其他都未有.  唔怪得枱枱都係呢個啦.  因用openrice訂座所以有9折.  其實, 朋友同我都覺得呢度既佈置幾好, 而且暫時唔多人唔嘈坐得舒適.  食物水準都OK, 我會比7分.  希望, 如果有下次, 可以見到佢地O係服務, 同餐牌度加強.  換個角色, 作為一個消費者, 個餐牌上面又唔標明, 你比心機揀完到落柯打先發表樣樣都無, 認真掃興!!!!…Read More
