Melo B 漏夜都要趕起這篇食評,因為這店實在太精彩了,忙必推介給各位朋友。這店是日本人開,的的確確是間居酒屋!選擇食品不算多,燒物95%都以鷄為主,偶爾是日推介会有蝦和豬,不過一点牛的踪影都找不到!必食之選:(1) 白鱼旦: 不是每間店都有這款冷盤。鱼旦彈牙再加上wasabi陪襯,實在是出色的佐酒小吃(2) 鹽燒豬手:不是每天都有,脆皮而沒有油,加上豬手的texture,精彩!亦是必吃(3) 燒雞顎骨肉:介乎鷄軟骨和雞柳中間,好有口感,值得推介!(4) 盬燒雞亦;雞亦肥味亦多汁,外脆內軟,肉汁完完全全保留在雞肉內,精彩!小貼士:(1) 愛吃牛者不能選擇這店(2) 地方有限,只有2張2人和2張4人枱,最好先訂位(3) 因地方淺窄,始終有油煙味;最好選擇在平日早点吃便可 (因為比較小人)(4) 爐端燒始終太熱氣,記得叫杯啤酒清熱(5) 每款串燒都有不同燒法,沒有頭緒可請教店員Melo B 覺得不一定貴的爐端燒才好吃,只要師傅用心去做,便宜居酒屋亦能夠做出超水準的食物!…Read More

Hullett House 基本上沒有一間出色的outlet, St. George, The Parlour 都是貴兼味道差的outlet, 名乎其實只是吃裝修終於找到一處比較像樣的隆濤院。和3位客人特別來到品嚐晚飯。本來想點烤鴨,誰不知7pm去到已售罄,沒緣品嘗,不過看見鄰座吃,好像也很不錯。陣陣烤鴨品散滿店內,下次一定要試一試!:)說到必食,應該說是"鱼羊同鮮"!其實是鱼和羊放湯煮,配搭很天衣無縫,皆因鱼和羊混合後,兩者鮮昧依舊保存,肉質柔嫩,重点是你吃不到羊肉的"蘇"味,彷彿好像吃牛腩一樣。請記得一定要喝碗裡的湯,這裡才是精华的集中地。:) 不吃羊者,亦可点這道菜!其他食物都是不過不失 不過最好不要点"九龍城路邊鷄",太重酒味而遮蓋雞的鮮味!彷彿好像吃一只正在醃浸中的雞!如果同客(尤其是外国人)吃飯会比較適合!小貼士﹕(1) 需預先訂位(2) 每晚只供應3-4只烤鴨,最好預訂!這處比較多同客吃飯的訂位,所以很容易售罄…Read More

Melo B 極力、重点推介的新西餐廳。這店位於i-sqaure 28 樓,有景觀而且座位編排不会密密麻麻,好有私隱,而且還有舒服的沙發,可以同情侶Sweet Sweet. 值得推介的食物多不勝數,首先:(1) 一定要試生蠔,種類多元化 (Kumamoto, Skookum, Shiduokua, Rocky Bay, Cherry Stone...)而且價錢合理。最重要係新鮮! 鮮味程度等同Sheraton Oyster Wine & Bar 。最驚喜還有時日限定來自日本的岩蠔 (Sanriku)。雖然有点鹹,不過真的好好味!朋友帶來一瓶MUMM de Cramant 香檳,其幼滑的氣泡完全配合生蠔的鮮味。懂得享受生活的朋友,不妨一試!(2) 藍龍蝦(Blue Lobster): 唔講唔知,藍龍蝦產自法国,亦是時日限定的食物。肉質比一般波士頓龍蝦Chewy, 彈牙!要吃過才会明白個中的不同! 龍蝦可以"一味二吃",可以做沙律和燒龍蝦(看圖)(3) 總廚推介必吃的豬扒和意粉,豬扒肉質鮮嫩,肉汁仍保留在肉內,一点都不覺得乾!意粉彈牙兼chewy, 配上蕃茄汁,很醒胃! 不愛吃蕃茄汁的朋友,可以選擇Cabonara. Melo B likes to hang around all new restaurants and bars. My girlfriend invited me a new open bar called "Lily and Bloom" (not Bloom).It locates at LKF Tower, centre of Central. When you enter the outlets, it's a very contemporary and relax bars. Style is very similar Dada bar (personal comment) It is a very good place for chit chat, gossip, but not clubbing.I went there at Happy hour time... the best time to grab a few cocktails and then I've ordered a Bone Marrow and Calamari. Actually I seldom have chance to eat Bone Marrow. When you tasted it, very good indeed!! Soft, tendor and very juicy.. Since it is a Bone Marrow, but the portion is very small. Calamari is also very delicious!!! Crispy and very chewy and I recommend this is a very good companion with drinking cocktail.However, you have to be patient on their service. This is my 2nd time going to Busy Suzie for dinner. First time was with a girlfriend to gossip and this time was with a client.If you prefer to stay there for whole night, grab a cocktail at the bar before going to main hall. Try an apple mocktail, tastes very refresh and it opens up your appetite later on.The most impressed food at this dinner were the soft shell crab roll. Taste is superb... Actually I am not a fans of crab, but with eating this roll, you don't feel yourself having crabs but a very crispy roll and not oily.Besides, I also recommend the Pearl Calm and the Tiger Prawn. Very fat and tendor. The best way to have these 2 items are with a nice Sake. The House Sake is really good, cost only around $300 per half bottle. It fits for the dosage of two.If you would like to have a romantic moment with your partner or gossip with your girlfriends, you can go back to the bar and enjoy your sake or have a glass of whisky. Although I didn't have photos to show, I've been there for 2 times lunch and 1 time dinner since this restaurant opened. Going there is not because the food quality is good but because it is very near to our office. Whenever we have lunch meeting or OT, our boss must go there.Actually the renovation is very nice, the owner has invested a lot on this area and very contemporary Indian style. They have a la carte to serve during dinner while only Buffet is served during lunch time.We've booked a table to celebrate our colleague's b'day (actually you don't need to book because always have vacancy). What I have to say, if you are not a curry friends, please do not choose this outlet as because all the items are curry (yellow, green, very hot, not hot). YOu can say this only item you can taste is "curry". To be frank, the curry is in good quality (but not excellent).... If you would like to pay a very reasonable price for tasting different curry, this outlet will be a good choice!Besides curry, I also recommend "Nanh"... very soft and the best item in the restaurant!I suggest to go for dinner instead of having buffet as because the quality of a la carte is far better than lunch. Wow.. a lot of new restaurants open in TST these days... It's very busy for me to try every single restaurant.I've chosen Kushi One to go with my colleague during lunch time. It locates on 5/F and there's like Ramen and other kind of japanese restaurants on the same floor. I thought this restaurant is a sushi restaurant at the beginning but actually the signature of this restaurant is the paper grillPrice set Lunch is very reasonable which a Pork cutlet rice is $58 while a sushi set is around $90. But we've ordered the Paper grill set this time as because it costs only $108 per person and you can have oyster (if you don't eat oyster, you can change to calm), 3 pcs of beef, vegetables and salmon. The set also come with a salad and a miso soup.Why is so special? because the bbq is paper grill. They've put a few papers on the grill pan and you just put everything on the paper and wait until it cooked! Very funny... and it helps to decrease the oily feeling. However, it takes longer time to cook than the normal bbq. When the food is cook or in progess, just add some sea salt and soy sauce, very yummy!Remember, the set doesn't include tea or coffee. It's been more than a year that I haven't gone to Oyster and Wine Bar for dinner. At the beginning, we've inclined to try 8 1/2 restaurant. However, the restaurant is fully booked and finally we've picked Oyster and Wine Bar.Whenever you go to this restaurant, you must try their oysters as because it is one of the signature items. There's a lot of varieties and it will be good if you order a platter and taste different types. Compared to other restaurant such as Oceanna , the oysters that we tasted are more fresh and juicy. Price is also reasonable.I also recommend you to order a salad or a soup. You can tell the waiters to lesser the portion (especially for ladies). If you take the normal portion, it maybe too much l and no chance to take the main and dessert. What I recommend this time is the duck confit salad. Fresh rocket leaves with a thin slice of tendor, juicy and crispy duck confit. Not oily but brings a very strong good taste of duck meat.Tips: When you try the oyster, pair with either white wine of champagne. It can bring up the true oyster taste. Besides, do not try the Caviar and Clams at this restaurant as because .... not very good!When it goes to main course, we've chosen the pasta of the night - Oxtail Penne with Merlot sauce. Penne is very outstanding and the sauce is so rich and absorb the oxtail sauce. Oxtail meat is very tendor but if you think you want to leave some space for dessert, just skip the meat and take the penne only.Tips: Recommend not to order steak if you want to take oysters and appetizer. Sushi Toku is the restaurant I usually go with my colleagues or business partner during lunch time. Honestly speaking, the only thing I take everytime is the self pick Sushi set. Waitress will provide a sushi list to you and you can choose either 8 or 14pcs. Price is around $90 to $150.Some of the sushi may need to pay an extra $20/pcs as because they are more premium.When you order the sushi set, it includes a steam egg , miso soup and a mini appetizer. If you don't like steam egg, you can ask to change a salad which is very good taste.:)Like other traditional japanese restaurant, you can only pick fruit platter or coffee or ice tea as dessert.Tips: U must make a reservation as because seats are very limited.
