今晚本來想安排一頓 Fine Dining,但是這段日子工作實在太忙,疲累得連吃龍肉都無味,也沒時間好好安排,只是匆忙的找來這間爐端燒。吃過以後,確實也不錯呢!今天只是在出發前才訂位,選擇了"吧"枱,以為可看着廚師燒烤更有氣氛。到達後發現燒烤位置太小,看的也沒什麼特別;高櫈也坐得不太舒服,空間也沒有私穩;地下一層座位不多,地方狹窄,有些位置更對著門口,會有人出入和「食風」。當我們正在煩惱和有點失望時,服務員便帶領我們到上一層(之前是沒有開的),這裡空間大了,私穩度高了,連氣氛也更「日本」呢!下次再來一定要訂一樓!我們一行二人,order 了一個「龍蝦北海道帶子二人前套餐」$698 和一客「A5宮崎和牛 Miyazaki Wagyu」$628。最大問題是他們把主菜放到最後才上,令到食慾大減。前菜:唔知想點,在廚房除便切一些瓜菜放在碗內,像擺放了很久似的。1星日式蟹子沙律2客:新鮮,可囗。3.5星日本秋葵2串:新鮮,香口,好味。3.5星日式霜燒牛肉:新鮮,有嚼頭,好味。3.5星冬菇2串:新鮮,香口,好味。3.5星蜜桃鴨胸2串:我很喜愛,鴨胸外面香脆、裡面肉厚肥美,蜜桃鮮甜。4星日式免冶雞肉2串:夠份量,鮮味。4星梅子紫蘇雞頸肉2串:新鮮,香口,好味。3.5星梅子秋刀大葱卷2串:很不錯,不吃魚的人也吃魚。3.5星:)主菜一:A5宮崎和牛1份:肉質很新鮮、鬆軟、肥美、沒有根,如果在我還未飽時上這道菜享受會更佳。4星:)主菜二:北海道珍寶帶子柱2件:肉身較乾,鮮味不足。3星:)主菜三:日式烤龍蝦半隻:我很喜愛,龍蝦肉質新鮮肥美,加上沙拉醬來烤,十分醒胃。4星:(冷梅子稻庭烏冬:烏冬質感不錯,可惜豉油太鹹。2星總結:整體食物新鮮質量好(前菜、帶子 除外),燒烤和調味洽到好處(烏冬豉油 除外),價錢合理,一個輕鬆開心的選擇。…查看更多

星期六晚都唔滿座!有免費代客泊車。這裡有數間獨立的鐵板燒房,每間可坐16人。房內有兩部電視播TVB,廚師(香港人)常常跟我們 social、"玩"拋雞蛋寫字雜技(打壞了6隻都做不到)、"玩"炒飯拼圖拼字等,共花了二十五分鐘,雖然氣氛輕鬆,但令這餐廳變得太 local 太"港"式,沒有了日本餐廳應有的風格和品味。每人二、三百元 casual 啲冇所謂,但每人成千蚊玩嘢玩咁耐,就變得 distracting。簡單講:cheap 咗!另一方以這裡的食材素質和價錢,相比酒店,算是物有所值。環境3星。今晚一行四人,點了 KOBE"松板"四人前御膳套餐,每位$888,把蟹轉為一客澳洲和牛肩厚鐃、兩客鵝肝和一客銀雪魚。:)主角一:A5松板霜降神戶牛厚鐃(16oz):牛肉很新鮮、鬆軟、肥美、沒有根,是一片很好的神戶牛。可是它的"霜降"給不到我更大的驚喜,也許便宜很多的"A5松板牛腹肉厚鐃(16oz)"會更底食。也可能是味道濃了一點,下次我會叫廚師用最少的調味(或只用少少鹽)來保持牛的鮮味。4星。:)主角二:活伊勢龍蝦:兩隻來自印尼的大龍蝦,很生猛。用龍蝦頭內的膏來做調味,很香很好味。如果膏味多一點就更好。4星。:)主角三:原隻鮮活澳洲黑邊大鮑魚:手掌般大的生猛大鮑魚,唔韌,很爽口。4星。澳洲和牛肩厚鐃:肉質鬆軟彈牙,不錯。4星。法國鵝肝:鵝肝很大片,外面煎得香脆乾身,裡面軟滑新鮮,放在用一整片牛油烘脆的麵包上,很好味。4星。銀雪魚:肉質不夠滑。2星。龍蝦麵豉湯:OK,但不夠龍蝦味。3星。松板牛膏炒飯:配櫻花蝦,但不夠牛膏味。玩嘢玩得太多。3星。精選沙律, 黑魚子蒸蛋:沙律一般。黑魚子鵝肝蒸蛋是放在蛋殼內的,好味。3星。豆沙餅:新鮮做的,不錯。3星。朱古力生日蛋糕:有人生日,送的,也不錯。3星。TVB 咁至識食 第10集 http://mytv.tvb.com/foodandtravel/eatingright/8766/41#page-1…查看更多

新開的 Feast 吃的是 Semi-Buffet。極高樓底加上全落地玻璃窗設計,但窗外望的只是太古城樓景。半開放式廚房設計,沒甚麼特別。枱與枱之間空間寬闊,感覺愉快。缺點1:大小同價!我嗰女得6歲,吃得不多,Main Course 唔啱食,結果要了個 Hot Dog。唔抵食。缺點2:冇湯!連自己 self-serve 的 cheap 湯都冇,要自己吡錢再叫,加埋湯成個餐要成五百元,唔抵食。如果喺 a la carte 自己散叫湯冇問題,但 semi-buffet 有 main course 冇湯,少咗啲嘢,唔 make sense!缺點3:Main Course 唔多得!爸爸的魚(冇嘢講),弟弟的雞(話OK),媽媽的羊架(話失望),女兒的熱狗(話炸薯條OK),我的安格斯斧頭扒(看下文):)即開生蠔: 用刀在生蠔邊一界,它會有一點點縮,新鮮,殼中還有少少海水,不用檸檬也沒有腥味。但比較細隻。:)即切的巴馬火腿:我平時很少吃 cold cuts,但因有即切的巴馬火腿(很少見一堆堆的,很 Raw 很有 Feel)和很甜的哈蜜瓜,所以我也吃了很多。我們 6:30pm 便到,所有 cold cuts 也新鮮大塊,但夜了便變得細塊和碎,可能人手不夠去再切。:(澳洲引入70日穀飼安格斯斧頭扒 - 兩位用:平時比較喜歡吃和牛,很久沒有吃安格斯牛扒,所以可能不太習慣。覺得肉身比較乾,肉汁不夠,吃了不到一半便放棄了。OpenRice article: http://www.openrice.com/restaurant/article/detail.htm?article_id=1604:)Eton Mess:英式甜品,我的第一次,很喜歡。:)Chocolate Strawberries: 士多啤梨又大又甜,加上脆朱古力,好味。:)木糠布甸:是將馬利餅碎及煉奶cream梅花簡竹咁逐層鋪入杯內,很好味的。其他甜品如 Tiramisu, Chess Cake 等也不錯。…查看更多

第一次到富豪酒家,是8個月前,全因它的電視廣告:十年前價錢 $680 超底食金融海嘯套餐。傳統高級中式餐廳室內裝修,原本被安排坐下層(滿座),因較近大門位置,便要求坐上層。那時7點,上層只有我們一枱,30分鐘後多4枱,不滿座。見到老闆阿翁,坐落個熟客張檯傾咗一餐。餐聽職員有禮,大多是中年以上,說話比較大聲。因上層人少,比較静,你會聽到職員、阿翁和其他客人的說話。有機會再來的話,我會坐房,more privacy and quiet.食物方面,4個字:全部都好!:)紅燒砂窩包翅魚翅一排排份量夠,紅燒湯底夠香夠入味,砂窩吃到尾也熱"辣辣"! 好好味,5星!:)30頭皇冠吉品鮑30頭當然不是很大隻啦!精髓在於它是糖心鮑魚,拎起刀叉切落去,有少少黐住刀背的感覺,切開後是深啡色,中間深啡中帶一點點紅色的糖心。咬下去有一點點特別的鮑魚香味,是普通鮑魚沒有的。鮑汁, 當然好啦!好好味,5星!:)鮑汁唐生菜膽用鮑汁送唐生菜膽,no problem!4星!:)原條關東遼參鵝掌好味冇得彈!5星!:)脆皮炸子雞皮脆肉滑,好味!4星!:)瑤柱鮮蝦荷葉飯好味!4星!:)原燉杏汁燕窩燕窩份量很足夠,杏仁味好香,好味!5星!如果富豪酒家繼續推出這 $680 經濟復蘇套餐,我一定會再去!…查看更多

This Indian restaurant was rated Big Gourmand by Michelin 2009. My friends and I were not particularly interested in Indian food. But we decided to give it a try because of Michelin. Well, at the end, we realized that Indian food is too challenging for us.Very nice people and good service. English speaking waiter/waitress only.Samosa chicken $38Tangy potatoes in pastry shells. Pretty good. 3 stars.:)Thandai $32An almond based homely made refesher, based on pure milk and crushed almond. Very good. I like it. 4 stars.Jaljeera $28Jal Jeera is an Indian beverage. In Hindi, "Jal" means water and "Jeera" means cumin. Jal Jeera is similar to lemonade and is a popular summer drink in India. It is generally served as an appetizer as it is intended to startle the taste buds. The Cumin is a medicinal ingredient which aids digestion. The mint has a cooling effect on the consumer. One of the main ingredients is black salt or rock salt which acts as a digestive. 2 stars.Tandoori jhinga $68/pcClay oven roasted king prawn $68/pc. Plump and fresh king prawns refreshingly marinated in citric blend of lemon juice, ajwain and green cardamon, wrapped with sesame seeds. As expected, it is not as fresh as Chinese cooking. Still acceptable. 3 stars.Palak Paneer $64Purred spinach with cottage cheese. 3 stars.Rogan Josh $89Kashmiri lamb curry. The rogan and josh refer to the rich colour which is achieved by using a combination of mild and bright kashmiri chillies and the juice extract from a brightly coloured root stem ratin jot, alkanet. Pretty good for a lamb curry, as I usually don't eat lamb. 3 stars.Kashmiri Naan $28Dry fruits studded naan. Very good for kids. 3 stars.:(Tandoori mix grill $168Assortment of chicken, lamb kebabs and fish. Taste of lamb is too strong. Fish is not the way Chinese like. We don't like it. 1 star.:(Pulao rice $40Saffron flavoured rice. We don't like it. 1 star.Masala Dosa $58Thin lentil crispy pancake stuffed with the famous 'temperedpotatos' served with lentil vegatable curry and coconut chutney. 3 star.:)Kesari Kulfi $38Indian thickened saffron, nut and milk icecream. A very different type of cold desert, siimilar to icecream, but not really icecream. Should try. 4 stars. To conclude, I may go again for the Thandai drink and some snacks. 第一次來大概是2006年,是我第一次吃私房菜,very impressive,很飽滿,很好吃。之後再來過幾次,感覺差了,份量也不夠。記得有一次慶祝母親生日,但媽媽吃得不飽滿!這次是朋友的建議,$330 的基本餐,再加翅$160和鮑魚$200,看看甚麽樣!首道茗茶-明前龍井荔枝味番茄-前菜好味。但他用荔枝味做appetizer已經很多年,例如荔枝味火龍果等,所以沒有大驚喜。 4星。黑松露菌配蟹腳-前菜好味,雖然是appetizer,但太太太細囗! 3星。意大利香草醬焗海中蝦蝦是新鮮的。和一般焗蝦炒蝦分別不大,只是意大利香草醬多一點特色。 4星。啤梨釀炸雞翼配石榴汁和一般釀雞翼沒甚分別,只是裡面換了一粒啤梨。配的石榴汁也在它以前的菜色用過,沒甚驚喜。 4星。鮮蟹濃湯蟹皇翅($160@)濃湯可再濃一點,蟹皇多一點更好。 問題是翅的素質不好,有白色的翅邊帶出了魚腥味。 這是額外加錢的,所以有點失望。 3星。南非30頭鮑魚配鮑汁煨鵝掌($200@)點解隻鵝掌這麼細!鮑魚味道不錯。 4 星。哈蜜瓜螺頭燉瑤柱湯好味。4星。二道茗茶-南岩鐵觀音芝士焗銀鱈魚配上海酸辣汁很好的一味菜,我喜歡芝士,酸辣汁開胃不太辣,銀鱈魚香滑,全晚最喜歡最有驚喜。 5星。讚岐凍烏冬配櫻花蝦米及雙色醬汁(黑醋汁和花生醬汁)黑醋汁配讚岐凍烏冬很好味。但配櫻花煆米冷食,沒甚技考可言。4星。三道茗茶-蜜香單欉安迪創意特色甜品像一般酒店buffet的甜品,吃不出驚喜。 3星。 …查看更多

I rated it 5 stars. HK$2700 for 2 persons (w/o wine). Excellent food and services. By sitting at bar table, you can see the actions in the kitchen and be able to access manager/waiter/waitress in that area which is very convenience. All staffs are very helpful to give you recommendations and provide details of each dish. They have a $590 diner menu and $1450 tasting menu. We created our own from a la carte menu and server's recommendation. At Latelier, we can order dishes from the menu of Le Jardin. Everything taste wonderful except the quail. Bread Basket (free) which comes with all kinds of mini bread. Most of them are soft which is more suitable for Hong Kong or Chinese people. I love each of them. 5 stars. L'AMUSE-BOUCHE: Warm foie gras with carrot moose and mango confits $270.Although I normally don't eat goose liver, the foie gras located at the bottom comes extremely well with the carrot moose on top. I love it. 5 stars. LA LANGOUSTINE: Crispy langoustine papillote with basil $290The small lobster is extremely fresh while the skin was fried to extreme crispy. I love it. 5 stars. LA SAINT-JACQUES: Scallops cooked in the shell with seaweed butter $198Scallop is big and fresh. Cook to perfection. I love it. 5 stars. LE BEUF: Steak tartare with hand-made French fries $200If you like raw beef, this is it! It mixed with a little bit tartare sauce. Very fresh. I love it. 5 stars. The fries are not bad too. LE VELOUTE DE DAÏKON: Turnip “ velouté “ with beet root and black truffles $310A creamy but light soup. 4 Stars. LA CHÂTAIGNE: Chestnut “velouté” with celeriac custard and smoked bacon $190Smoked bacon is soft. Has a small piece of goose liver. 2 pieces of chestnuts. Chestnut soup is creamy, tasty but light. Must try. 5 Stars. LE BLACK COD: Cod fish fillet marinated in sake and mirin with miso sauce $150The cod fish has a very lovely smell of sake. Marinated with miso sauce to it's perfection. I love it. 5 stars. mashed potato (comes with certain dishes)Very soft mashed potato, mixed with cream and butter. A famous dish of Joel Robuchon restaurant. I love it. 5 stars. LA CAILLE: Free-range quail with foie gras, served with mashed potato $200Quail leg is good, taste like chicken wing or leg. Quail meat stuffed with foie gras, which is a bit dry and tough. Black truffles on top of mashed potato. Since the quail meat is too dry and hard, only 3 stars. LE VEAU: Braised veal cheek with couscous and broccoli bouillon $270The veal cheek was first fried on both sides, then braised. It was extremely soft and tasty. Couscous gives a crispy taste to the meat. The soup is great too. I love it. 5 stars. A ROSE: Raspberry sugar ball with cream, raspberry sorbet, fresh raspberry and lychee jelly $150The sugar ball was made by blowing sugar in fire, just like making glass. It was stuffed with cream and raspberry. You need to use a spoon to "crack" it. Comes with a raspberry sorbet. The mint leave is very fresh. Also with fresh raspberry and lychee jelly. This dessert is wonderful. I love it. 5 stars. Complimentary macaron, chocolate and jellyThis is the last and free one. It is also perfect. 5 stars. Sunday is less crowded and the quality is as good.
