抵食「五道菜」午餐

這裏的午市套餐平均五六十元,跟一般日式食肆、茶記價位差不多,沒想到除了主食外,還包沙津、麵豉湯、餐飲,及一粒朱古力雪米糍。沙律就是由罐頭水果加生菜及沙律醬組成,其實不吃也沒所謂。麵豉湯則偏鹹,不過湯料很足:有豆腐和海帶之餘,還意外地有一隻蜆。玉子咖哩牛舌飯有點辣。牛舌欠奉,以牛腩魚目混珠,令我有一種被蒙騙的感覺。玉子鰻魚丼有誠意。飯上不只是有說好的魚和蛋,還伴有沙律菜和醃蘿蔔。燒牛肉石頭鍋飯是三個飯中最好吃的。惠顧午餐可加十元點一款小食,便點了玻璃蝦刺身。這蝦很扁,味道正常。其實主食份量已不少,套餐還前菜、湯、飲料、甜品樣樣齊。份量多、食物質素也算不錯,怪不得差不多滿座。不過餐牌有點黏,疫情期間更顯得清潔度不夠。…Read More

花雕蒸蟶子、興化炒米粉

餐牌上寫著鐵板鹽焗蟶子是人氣之選,因此便點了試試。蟶子全都插在鹽上,賣相特別,不過「有姿勢冇實際」。原因一:侍應阿姐一上菜,便幫我們鏟起蟶子,說防止時間一久蟶子黏著鐵板。二:殼上滿是粗鹽,難以撥清,拆殼進食時亦難免沾到,結果越吃越覺得過鹹。其實親切的侍應阿姐推薦花雕蒸蟶子,說是8款蟶子中最好吃的。她果然沒介紹錯,有酒香之餘,比鐵板蟶子鮮、清甜得多。如果先吃這款,才吃鹽焗蟶子,感覺會舒服得多。可惜這款蟶子最後才到。鹹香黃花魚肉滑,外皮雖然是煎的,吃下卻不覺熱氣。興化炒米粉很幼細,料多,有蜆有花生,口感多樣,好吃!其實對於胃口細的兩個人來說,少叫一款也非常足夠。…Read More

兩點半進店,剛好可食下午茶餐。我點的刈包有紙包著,進食方便:不沾手,而且餡料不易掉出來。店員同時提供筷子,我不嫌多餘,原因是方便我夾出芫茜。雪白的刈白新鮮鬆軟,夾著肥肉吃一點也不膩。只吃刈包有一點單調,便加了一份九層塔手抓餅。餅皮鬆軟,每一口都充滿著香草味,挺特別挺香口的,不過未必合大眾口味。入座時桌上分別有三個餐牌,一個是飯餐、一個是麵餐,最後是「輕食下午茶」。後來我才發現原來還有第四個餐牌,寫著「輕食下午茶」以外的茶餐均附送一款小食。即是,「輕食下午茶」全都是三十幾元,看似比其他至少四十幾的下午茶餐便宜,其實份量少很多,一點都不抵:(。像我這樣點,已盛惠$50,比一個飯或麵餐還貴。…Read More

在網上看餐牌,見主打刺身,還以為質素有保證。我叫的「東海龍王」三文魚有6片,份量足,可惜味道和色澤均是中下貨色。而且魚生暖暖的,怪不好吃。三文魚子很鹹,拌著白飯吃剛好,完全不用加豉油。同行叫了窩蛋安格斯肥牛飯,我分了點來吃,自製「三寶飯」。雖然不知道是否真的安格斯肥牛,不過牛肉的質素實在比吉野家好得多。餐牌上寫著餐飲可選soft drinks。原來除了例牌的汽水,還有少見的soda water, ginger ale, ginger beer可供選擇。雖然樓面只有一個店員一腳踢,但是當她見我們對掛在牆上的仿清裝有興趣時,也不怕麻煩地告訴我們可以穿上,還幫忙,服務態度十分好。…Read More

常常去酒樓飲茶,一般點心都吃膩了。看著這裡的點心相片,卻充滿了新鮮感,對款款都有興趣。原來豆沙QQ小白是椰絲糯米糍。皮夠黏夠糯軟。耳朵是瓜子。尾巴無味又不脆,咬了一口便放棄了。貓咪流沙包的包皮粉紅色,耳朵黃色,配色奇怪之餘,一點也不似貓咪。咬第一口即感覺到流沙餡湧出來,太難得了!包皮也夠柔軟。韮黃鮮蝦蚊的蝦很大,非常爽口,可惜腸粉皮很厚。最令人感動的是這裡的炸品,熱辣辣到燙口,證明新鮮即製,今時今日非常難得!千島醬脆皮蘿蔔糕的炸皮,類似炸鮮奶的外皮,而且放涼了一樣鬆脆。相反,上面的木魚涼了後,則又韌又有股木味。黑豚肉脆脆豬樣子趣致,是咸水角。有些部分的皮厚了點,尤其是腳、嘴附近。最令人失望的是裡面有硬物,我懷疑是石仔,幸好沒有咬壞我的牙。若非有這硬物,我會給好評。…Read More

這家連鎖店與香港一般的台式餐廳不同 ,餐牌上的菜式種類繁多。可惜 3人胃口不大,選來選去只敢叫3款。三杯透抽:單看名字沒有相片的話,真的不會叫,因為看不明白!魷魚不入味,又韌了一點,煮得一點也不「透」。估計沒有燜過之餘,只是稍為煮煮而已。伴菜反而煮得夠透,充分吸收了芡汁,味道比魷魚好得多。平貝櫻花蝦荷葉飯:櫻花蝦炸過,但上桌時已變韌 。平貝乾,偏硬,味淡。飯硬,不好吃。這荷葉飯除了賣相搶眼,量大,便沒好處。真後悔點了這道飯,浪費了嘗試其他菜式的機會。蚵仔酥最好吃,炸皮薄又酥。雖然有點細碎,但是這可能代表粉醬不厚?…Read More

去飲茶,點心一般都是一盅三件。難得鼎點的套餐,大部份點心都是兩件,二人去不怕要重覆吃同一款的點心!可惜,套餐菜單一點都不簡單易明:沒有「蝦餃」、「燒賣」等點心名字,取而代之是一堆編號。另一張點心紙上才並列名字和編號。即是,客人要知道套餐包含什麼點心,便必須來回兩頁紙對號,實在麻煩又費時。而且,可能是人手不足的關係,上菜有點混亂。有點心遲遲未上之餘,套餐中的香芒糯米糍變成了煎堆,店員上菜時才說是「改」了,並沒提前通知!食物方面,點心、菜大都偏油。餃類的皮黏筷,但味道不錯。雖然煎炸品賣相不濟,其味道也比外貌要好。羅漢煎腐皮卷外貌似煎薄餅,跟我認知的腐皮卷很不同。這裏沒茶位費沒加一服務費,中環區飲茶的價格而言,以我所知這家最低。因此性格比還算是可以的。…Read More

店外的大餐牌上,有蕃茄大頭蝦湯面的大幅相片,標著每天限量發售。而此道菜式也在店內的餐牌封面上,似是招牌菜。不過想下單時,才得知已售罄。不吃大頭蝦,便吃少見的芝心蝦多士。多士非常新鮮,鬆脆可口,夾著溶化了的芝士,是這一餐最好吃、亦是最貴的食物。海南雞飯 雞是冷的,伴菜也是冷的,實在吃不慣。飯黃色鮮艷,看似惹味,實則淡而無味。有幸點的咖哩軟殼蟹選配了蒜蓉包不選飯,多餘的咖喱汁可撈海南雞飯。咖哩汁偏甜,咖哩味不重。軟殼蟹一般。蒜蓉包鬆軟鹹香。原來這裡的麵包比較好吃?餐廳有越、泰兩國菜式,選擇不少。星期六晚飯時間也不滿座,不吵不擠,環境尚算舒適,值得再來試試其他菜式。…Read More

吃不暖的火鍋

以前這店是一般火鍋店,現在變成了大排檔,在街上開多幾枱做生意。樓面只有兩人,怎麼足夠應付十幾枱客人?廚房也明顯不夠人。我們點的火鍋料,下單一個小時也上不齊。漏單或沒貨卻遲遲不通知的情況,當晚其他客人也有遇到。我坐的位置超級大風,向店員反映後也沒有改善。吃火鍋不暖身,反而是全程冷著,實在是第一次。我們的卡式石油氣罐又不滿,火很小,水難滾,再加上上菜慢、漏單,嚴重拖長了我們整個用餐時間。直接點說,就是浪費我們的時間。食物方面,醉蝦很迷你,酒味很淡,似醬油蝦而不似醉蝦。炸魚皮又厚又硬,浸在湯裏一會兒才好吃。象拔蚌刺身挺新鮮,是我較為滿意的食物。總之,這頓晚飯實在是很不愉快。看著食物質素不錯的份上,才不給差評。…Read More

大埔、太和區有不少酒吧,像這家明亮、會在門口擺放餐牌的,就沒幾家。午市套餐的頭盤可選沙律和南瓜湯配多士。兩者也試了。全日早餐的多士,比跟湯的多士韌得多。蛋看似很滑,其實有些部分比看起來更熟。海蝦鹹蛋黃汁意粉 以鹹蛋黃做汁,用蓮藕、荷蘭豆作配料,感覺是很中式的一道意粉。意粉偏硬,味道不錯,卻嘗不到鹹蛋黃味。原來鹹蛋黃沒搗碎,聚了底,意粉都吃得七七八八了,我們才發現有一堆鹹蛋黃塊在碟底。烤西班牙黑毛豬扒 配薯菜 侍應問我們要七成還是十成熟,我們要了十成熟。豬扒雖然有點韌,但不會難「嚼」,比一般豬扒彈牙。七成熟可能口感更佳。餐飲叫了Peach tea,Mocha。凍檸茶竟然不用加$2!餐廳不大,不過氣氛不錯。吧台旁邊有屏幕投放著影片。當中有純樂器的演奏,亦有人唱歌的片段,營造出有live band在場的感覺。…Read More

我們入座後覺得太凍太大風,而麵店的樓底高,風扇也安得高,店員不嫌其煩地爬高幫我們調教風扇,實在有勞她們了。4人共叫了5款食物。可能是有些食物不合胃口的關係,最後覺得份量多了一點。牛腱牛肚牛筋湯麵 麵硬,浸一會後軟化了一點,但仍是偏硬。 湯很好味,是整碗麵的亮點。麻糬章魚丸 個人嫌章魚的味道不夠突出,與麻糬過於融和。鹵水切大腸 連墊底的芽菜也有大腸味。台式小香腸 對我來說就是甜的、少油版的臘腸。起司蛋手抓捲餅 整個午餐最好吃的便是這道手抓餅!新鮮的手抓餅又酥又鬆,卷著略溶的芝士蛋,至今還是回味無窮!醬油豬軟骨肉燥便當 質素一般,後悔叫了。不試無妨。…Read More

值得回頭的喇沙

見到「果子」這個名字,我聯想到的是日本菜,或現時流行的有意粉、甜品的cafe,原來賣東南亞菜。我們共叫了3款飯麵,1個甜品。海鮮喇沙摻摻 碗內配料頗多,「藏」著兩種麵條。湯很好味,小辣,足夠過喇沙癮的同時,又不會太辣!無骨海南雞飯 無骨雞夠滑,可惜欠了點味道。油飯味道一般。肉骨茶飯 看著好像餸不多,原來也有4條骨。兩片油炸鬼的質素一般。豉油有一股酒味,跟海南雞的豉油是一樣的。紫薯牛奶慕絲蛋糕 白色的mousse口感不像mousse,在口中溶化後好像有牛油的香和油膩感。總結來說,最好吃的是喇沙,最特別的是紫薯牛奶慕絲蛋糕。…Read More

這個鋪位的食肆重開了一段時間後,終於來一探究竟。這裏給我的感覺,有點像旺角奶路臣街的一家泰國菜。小食拼盤 春卷鬆脆,有趣的是裏面爽的餡料是冷的。炸單骨雞翼外脆,裏面部分嫩,部分有點「嚡」 。豬頸肉不夠熱,而蝦餅則脹鼓鼓的比較厚身,挺特別。軟殼蟹米粉卷 卷裏面除了有軟殼蟹,還有扎肉。粉皮雖然較一般厚,但我反而覺得新鮮、特別。火焰椰青飯 頂部有很多椰肉條,飯有椰味很清新。飯吃到差不多後,還可刮出椰青的椰肉吃個過癮。除了2隻連殼青口,飯裏還有沒殼的,可惜全都欠新鮮。青咖哩 侍應說青咖哩不辣,黃咖哩才有點辣,但其實青咖哩的辣度也不輕啊。青咖哩裏有茄子、豆角,還有似是紫蘇葉的東西,像是香港人隨意發揮的配搭。…Read More

未齊人卻很肚餓,幸有冷盤充饑。冷盤中有花生,雲耳,鹹酸菜,可惜辣,並不「老少咸宜」。雖然乳豬拼盤是頭菜,卻是上湯龍蝦伊麵先上桌。麵很碎,味又啖。龍蝦殼比較腍,很難咬裂。不過龍蝦份量充足,每人能分兩件。龍蝦伊麵吃了一轉,乳豬拼盤才到。乳豬皮夠鬆化。拼盤還有叉燒、雞、海哲等,但每款的份量不多。花枝蚌片上桌時又忘了照相,只記得蚌片太少,西蘭花和其他配菜卻充足。金菇瑤柱翡翠 菜苗爽脆,爽得令我懷疑不夠熟。瑤柱汁則很好味。原鼎姬松茸竹絲雞湯 湯料十足,有花膠。湯也好味,鹹甜適中。原隻鮑魚扣花菇除了乳豬拼盤外,碟頭都很足。因此這龍躉斑上桌時,大部份人已經夠飽了。從這條魚開始,後面的幾道菜上得超級慢。脆皮豉油雞的雞皮不脆,味道一般。荷葉飯挺好吃,肉很多。紅豆沙很稀,不合格。今日老人家慶生,所以另外叫了壽包。壽包縮了、皮皺皺的,很奇怪。蓮蓉質感軟垂,會漏出來的樣子,似「漿」多過似蓉。…Read More
