This is the only korean restaurant i've been to in Hong Kong. So i can only compare it to the places that i've been in San Francisco. This place is definitely outside of my normal budget, but sometimes i have to treat myself. I really like the kimchi here. I've had the big pancake thing that people have posted pictures of. This wasn't all that special, but seems to be something the wait staff recommend. The bi bim bop was really good here. And tonight i had the first of item on the soup page... a soy bean beef soup.

A few people have mentioned not liking the service here. I personally think the service is just fine. I am actually happy that they treat the korean customers a bit special. i'm not korean, but if i was, and went into a korean restaurant, i would expect the staff to speak to me in korean and be friendly. When i go into chinese restaurants, the staff are always more friendly to the chinese clients. The manager lady at this place is really nice actually. If its busy she can be a little high-strung, running around a lot, but if you treat them well they will treat you well back.
All i know is, this place is good. It is authentic Korean food. The banchan are all quite good, as are the soups and rice bowls. the kalbi, bulgolgi and 'hot pot' style meals all look delicious. And as someone else mentioned, the portions are quite good.
