Tulsi Indian Restaurant is basically my canteen for Indian food.
Everytime I come here, I just have rice, butter chicken, saag paneer etc.

This time I decided to go for different dishes for a change.
The guy was amazing, he didn't even have to jot down my order and he remembered everything.

Started with the samosa which were generously big filled with fluffy spiced potatoes and peas complimented with a sweet mint sauce.

For the mains, had the beef masala with Kashmiri naan.
The curry was well spiced with a hint of lemongrass.

The Kashmiri naan which was stuffed with coconut and fruit looked and tasted interesting.
The filling was bright orange and it tasted like Chinese steamed custard buns but with a crisp chewy naan bread texture.

Ended the meal with lemon soda, coffee lassi and mango smoothie.

They also had buttermilk which is lassi flavoured with cumin, chilis and spices similar to the Jal Jeera.
I got the same funny reaction like you won't want to order that lol!
