I’ve been here a few times before and always had a good time with the old crew. I’ve been here a few times before and always had a good time with the old crew. I visited again recently for a special occasion, hoping for another great evening, but found that the staff had changed. They also have a new rule of having the table only for 1.5 hours, which is a bit challenging for a proper three course meal (and this is not a cheap restaurant).

That’s all good and understandable, people have been leaving the city during COVID. The restaurant also needs to make a living. The atmosphere, however is completely changed. It has lost the cozy feeling of being properly hosted by friends, which was the draw of this place. It certainly did not feel like a premium restaurant. The food is above average, but for this price point, I can eat at many other restaurants for a similar experience.

The service staff were generally kind and polite, but there was a lady serving staff who was especially rude. Every interaction with her, it felt like she could not wait for us to leave. When the time came for the bill she literally *dropped* the bill on the table without a word. Appalling.

Extremely sad to lose such a special place, but we won’t be going back any time soon.
