Come with me on a solo dinner date to this beautiful Greek restaurant, which I wish I had tried earlier on in life! Because how is this just my first time?!? I ordered 2 starters - the Greek dolma (vine leaves stuffed with rice and served with a yogurt sauce), and Loukaniko (the smokiest grilled sausage that was insanely good!) For mains, I want the classic route. The chicken and pork souvlaki platter. I kid you not, the pork skewer was the most tender meat I ever had, and the pita, chips, and dips went amazing with it. It was just a full comfort meal! No girl dinner is complete without dessert. And this was easily the standout of my entire meal! Crispy layers of filo was stuffed with a beautiful semolina custard, and served fresh and HOT. The semolina gave the custard a fine grainy texture that went perfectly with the flaky filo. Also, the dessert was not too sweet, just perfectly balanced. I love hot cold desserts so some ice cream on top and I swear I’d eat it everyday!
