Suddenly crave for a bowl of hot noodles in these winter days. Ordered the $78 beef noodle, with black soup and hard noodle.Had a sip of the soup when the bowl arrive. It is not rich nor strong in beef flavour. The most I can say is that it is MSG-free as I was not thirsty even after drinking quite a lot of their soup. But it certainly disappoints me as a bowl of beef broth.Noodle is the next thing I tried. It is also the component that I, as a noodle guy, am having the highest expectation of. T

Noodle is the next thing I tried. It is also the component that I, as a noodle guy, am having the highest expectation of. The noodle served here, however, failed me in every aspect. It is quite chewy but tasteless. No egg flavour, either chicken or duck. It is not the kind of noodle that I would expect being served in media-priced noodle places like this. I am afraid to say there are quite a lot of ramen spots in HK that serve better noodle than here.
The beef is good though. Chewy, flavourful and fresh. And there's quite a lot of beef, sufficient to keep my mediocre noodle good company.
This may be a good place for beef lover. But I don't think I am coming back for their beef noodles.
