With an abundance of roasted barbecue meat resturant these days it’s hard to find the turkey authentic and stand out ones.I’m so glad I stumbled upon this place. I’m so glad I stumbled upon this place. It was their name that intrigued me at first. Calling themselves the bbq pork king sets them up with pretty big shoes to fill.
So of course I had the bbq pork was a must order. But I also wanted to try their other bbq meat offerings, so a platter was the way to go.
And can I just say they certainly don’t mess around here! The bbq pork was outstanding! It was all the right flavours and textures and had the perfect balance of fatty and lean meats! I can certainly see why they are the bbq pork king! The other bbq meats were good too, I especially enjoyed the roasted pork. But they can’t compare to the char siu.
We also ordered some other dishes like the fried rice noodles and a play of greens.
Both dishes were fantastic as well. The veggies were so naturally sweet and seasoned really good. And the can really taste the “wok hei” in the fried noodle dish.
Really recommend this place if you’re looking for some good char siu and simple Cantonese dishes.
