Walked by and saw this odd milk tart called Ovaltine. It said it used Hokkaido milk (a popular trendy product in so  many things now that is horribly abused just like truffle oil). As it was only $9, I decided to give it a try.It didn't a strong Ovaltine taste. The filling wasn't too smooth and was a bit on the rough side. The crust was soft.The weirdest thing is when I bit into it, I felt something chewy and rubbery. I grew alarmed and peeled it apart. What was inside was tapioca pearls. WHY? I

The weirdest thing is when I bit into it, I felt something chewy and rubbery. I grew alarmed and peeled it apart. What was inside was tapioca pearls. WHY? Is this supposed to be a Ovaltine bubble tea in tart form? I guess so. It wasn't too good even though quite clever. Would not try this again.
