Service was horrible - the staff missed one of our orders and when my friends and I followed up with them, they insisted that the dish had came and refused to provide another dish/cancel it. We took every picture of our food and tried to reason with the manager the dish didn’t arrive but he didn’t listen and wasn’t flexible at all, not to mention his attitude was bad. How can someone be a manager when he can’t even be the role model of his staff and provide good service to customers?

We went there to celebrate my friend’s birthday and it just ruined our night! It’s definitely one of the worst experience we have ever had and we will never go back again! There are other Japanese restaurants in Central/Soho with way better food and service so please avoid going to Amazake unless you want to experience their “first-class” service.
