Wow, this is a restaraunt that you must try. Seating was fast and attentive, the menu superb, and the decor outstanding. Starting with the bread...mmmmm...warm and crusty with a soft centre. The two spreads, herbed cream cheese and pate were delightful. I had the pig knuckle and Elizabeth had the Schnitzel, both to die for. Wow, this is a restaraunt that you must try. Seating was fast and attentive, the menu superb, and the decor outstanding. Starting with the bread...mmmmm...warm and crusty with a soft centre. The two spreads, herbed cream cheese and pate were delightful. I had the pig knuckle and Elizabeth had the Schnitzel, both to die for. The Schnitzel was tender and properly breaded, the knucle, which I have had in other restaraunts around the world, was crispy skinned and moist and tender on the inside. The beers were cold and the desert, 3 mixed creme broules were heavenly. Sounds like I liked this place...well I loved it. 10 out of 10 on this my first , but not last, dining experience at Ludwigs.
