As i loved Thai food and since it will be awhile before we could go Thailand to satisfy our craving, we decided to have Thai food tonight. Sun Thai Restaurant has 2 branches at Tsim Sha Tsui, and we went to the one located beside K11. The restaurant was very spacious and can accommodate several customers. they served traditional Thai cuisine such as appetizers, salad, soup, curry, seafood, rice or noodles, drinks and desserts etc.
Green bean smoothie - It was heavenly yummy, one of the best i have tasted. It was blended till smooth and thick in texture. I could taste green bean bits in it and has strong green bean taste.
Thai style grilled pork skewers - The portion was huge in size and was grilled till juicy and chewy. The peanut sauce provided helped to enhance the taste.
Steamed fish on stove tray with lemongrass - It was served on a large tray plate, with alot of ingredients in it. The soup was very flavourful and slightly sour, absorbing the essence of the ingredients. Fish was steamed till soft and smooth, with chilli sauce provided to dip onto it.
Mango sticky rice with coconut milk - Mango sticky rice was unexpectedly good, rivaling those i have eaten in Thailand. Sticky rice was very chewy, but not overly sticky. Coconut milk complimented it nicely and mango was soft and smooth, sweet as well.
