I wanted to try this world renowned restaurant for some time, and I finally found a chance to go and have lunch with my significant other.We order a set each, a sashimi set and a sashimi and sushi combination set. Then we order a yellowtail tartar with Cavier, a small shrimp tempura with a slightly spicy mayonnaise sauce. Finally one otoro sushi and desert (chocolate bento and passion fruit Tamago).The yellowtail tartar was nice. I didn\'t order toro tartar because I feel that otoro is best tast

The yellowtail tartar was nice. I didn\'t order toro tartar because I feel that otoro is best tasted in a slice, not minced. The small shrimp tempura is very very nice and tasty. I haven\'t had anything like that before. With such an introduction we were expecting the set to be equally impressive.
It turned out to be a disappointment, other than the salad. For 250 HKD the combo has three slice of yellowtail, three maguro, two salmon. Cucumber rows and a scallop, shrimp and one other sushi. I was really expecting some Uni,chu-toro, ikura and some better snappers.
Sashimi combo turns out to be a little bit better, for the same price they get a bit of chopped up mackerel which is nice. Other fishes are just normal.
Otoro is very good at 180 per serving (two piece). Not a bargain yet it is top quality.
Finally, the Chocolate Bento box is essentially warm chocolate cake with green tea ice cream. The Passion Fruit Tamago is a nice surprise, although the sides are less impressive.
Environment is nice with a great seaview. Service is ok although they are not too attentive when it comes to tea refills.
Not a cheap lunch, yet it is worthwhile to try except the sets.
我一早已很想試一試此名滿天下的餐\廳。故有一機會便帶同我的另一半去試午餐\。
我們叫了兩客定食(魚生和魚生加壽司),一客鮪魚他他加魚子醬,一客小蝦天婦羅,一客大拖羅,最後加朱古力便當及熱情果「蛋」
鮪魚他他加魚子醬先到,味道很不錯。我沒有叫拖羅他他,原因是我覺得大拖羅應是一塊塊的上才好,而不是被「免冶」小蝦天婦羅也非常之好吃。如此好的菜打頭陣,心想定食也應不錯吧!
結果是,除沙律外,定食頗令人失望。二百五十元的定食,魚生加壽司有三片鮪魚和吞拿,兩片三文魚,青瓜卷和帶子/蝦等兩款。我期望有的海胆,中拖羅,三文魚子或好一點的鯛魚均欠奉。
魚生定食好一點,起碼有碎池魚,其他則非常普通。
大拖羅幾好,一百八十元兩件,一點不便宜但屬頂級。
最後朱古力便當只是warm chocolate cake 加綠茶雪糕,而熱情果「蛋」有啲驚喜,但配菜麻麻。
環境是無敵維港落地景,服務就除了加茶甚少之外都不俗。
真的不便宜,但值得一試(定食除外)
