Fried pork cutlet noodle

The breading is just adequate and flavourful, a great match with the light plain noodle with some pickled veggie in the middle.

Surprisingly, the beef is marinated until very succulent, while the fried rice is just nice with small pieces of sweet and saoury pickled cabbages and toasted sesame seed. I also liked how they serve all main dishes with a few choices of sides.

 I am ordering this again and again because it is firstly of all served smoking hot, while the broth is dark, flavourful, and rich. The beef brisket itself is also very tender with a strong Chinese mixed spices flavour after being marinated for a very long time. The prominent star anise and peppery strong taste would be just right when going with a glass of iced Taiwanese milk tea!

 Having lunch in TST is getting pricier and pricier so why not opt for something guaranteed? I found this Taiwanese restaurant improving from time to time. The quality also remained steady and balanced. Let's come back again next week, shell we?
