This dinner was bought from group purchase at the cost of $234 plus $26 service charge for 2 persons. We were the first round starting from 6:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.Though there were only two to three tables of dinners, the first main course arrived about 45 minutes after we ordered, that was 6:50 p.m. We told the waiter that according to this serving speed, we could hardly finish before 7:45p.m. Therefore, she allowed us to order dessert without finishing main course.

Day of breads were 2 nos. of croissants and 4 pieces of bread. Crossants were very fresh that they were brittle outside, soft interior & buttery. The rest one was flavourless.

Though day of tomato soup was something reduced tomato juice with milk, the taste was quite good. It was a bit sweet with quite strong tomato flavour.

For appetizer, I chose beetroot and apple and my sister chose Parma ham on honey dew melon. Both were so-so. The colour of so-called Parma ham was orange brown, not red.

As for main course, I chose “Angel hair w/king prawns & garlic (spicy). There were three peppery big prawns which were quite good in terms of texture and taste. Though the angel hair was al dente, there was no garlic flavour and too light saltiness & spicy. The angel hair was also a bit dry. Portion of angel hair was a bit small.

The other main course was “Veal with baked potatoes & sautéed vegetables”. I ordered veal with medium rare but resulting medium well. I felt like that chemical substance was added in veal so it was unnaturally tendered. What’s a pity, though it was intense herb flavour, it could not overkill the flavour of the mentioned chemical substance. Also, potatoes chips were served instead of the baked potatoes.

For dessert, there were no tiramisu, cheese cake, affagato, green tea and red bean ice shavings on that day although it said there were 14 types of desserts which were free flow. Fortunately, molten cake w/ice-cream didn’t disappoint me. Baileys was the one I like most. The texture of made-to-order Bailey molten cake was good. There was warm molten paste leakage from the cake when cutting it. The sweetness and Baileys flavour was well balanced.

For green tea molten cake, green tea flavour was not strong but enough and no bitter taste. As for Belgium chocolate molten cake, it was the most sweet among the three molten cakes. It was quite strong chocolate flavour.

Strawberry Waffle w/ice-cream : I thought there was only one piece of strawberry cut in dice! I could only say only sweetness could be tasted and it was a bit hard, too. The taste didn’t get better even with ice-cream until I ate with molten chocolate paste from Belgium chocolate molten cake. Otherwise, we were reluctant to finish this waffle.
