I had this place bookmarked for a while as I had seen it on Tripadvisor of all places! So boyfriend asked where should we eat tonight and I said Panda Burger!Boyfriend ordered the Cajun chicken burger as that was rare find in Hong Kong with a fries and soup combo. I ordered the lamb burger with salad and soup combo.The pumpkin soup was really hot and delicious. I liked that they added a swirl of cream like in a real restaurant as opposed to a fast food place. The pumpkin soup was really hot and delicious. I liked that they added a swirl of cream like in a real restaurant as opposed to a fast food place. The salad was fresh and I liked that they used Italian dressing instead of the normal Hong Kong typical 1000 island sauce. The fries however were cold but at least crispy.
Cajun chicken burger wasn't Cajun at all. No spices. Bland. Even the mayo was bland. My boyfriend doesn't like the gamey lamb flavor and he tasted lamb in his chicken. They obviously didn't clean the grill after doing my lamb burger.
The waitress warned me the lamb burger would be medium rare. That got me excited as that is how a burger should be done! However when it came, it was well done, not medium rare at all. Still the flavor was fine. The mint dressing wasn't over powering. The only problem is the meat was dry and not juicy. It appeared to be one of those healthy burger places that use lean meat. Disappointing.
I saw the other table had pasta which looked good and a healthy sized portion. Might come back to try the pasta. But the burger experience is a no return.
