Jamie’s Italian has finally closed, as did around two dozens of its chain in its native England. Replacing it is Gaia’s Redhouse which is a chic new dim sum place that actually offers much more solid food and service than its superficially elegant and ornate décor might initially suggest. It’s also a rare opportunity to be able to enjoy a hefty 30% discount with 300% of the typical spaciousness during the Covid pandemic. No discount is applied to services, as staff are very welcoming and helpful

No discount is applied to services, as staff are very welcoming and helpful, a great bonus that contrasts with typically irritated servers at many dim sum joints. Food looks and tastes great, arrives promptly and are priced fairly.
