Our 10th anniversary memorial fell on a Saturday— what a good rest weekend, and so we wished to have a relaxing lunch as a beginning。 見呢度食友推介,於是來Blue Bar enjoy一吓。
First of all besides thanks for honey’s given funny surprise to bring me to florist which was my 1st time to select flowers BY MYSELF, I rather have to appreciate Four Season Hotel's service all the time。
1) Arrival:
我地揸大仔到Four Season時,valet迎接我地的timing恰到好處,而不會心急到見客人未ready已開車門 (因試過在某五星酒店竟被valet心急拉開車門而弄跌手袋)。
2) Setting:
Blue Bar環境幾cozy & nice setting,雖然full了卻不嘈吵,我地帶左favorite books打算reading-dining不求多食,啱哂!
Bar那些先生會主動serve dish,甚至協助客人拿取食物。 返位正想開始麵包與湯時,3位先生/小姐(包括Felicia,thanks!)主動前來細心慰問,表示當時正值有party,關心我們張桌可能因接近party出入access而受騷擾,並建議為我們轉桌。 其實本身個window seats 很好,honey頂多覺得太光猛,但他們幫我收拾細軟並轉往同類seating,算是bonus了。
3) Dishes:
桌上備有的 butter,令我聯想起W Hotel既Kitchen,不過三款麵包才是主角,果然很脆好fresh,不禁淺嘗。 倒是finger-sandwiches沒有特別。 Coconut chicken cream-soup好甜好似好滋潤的,平時不食湯料的我也忍不住連同雞肉多喝了。我出名嗜肉卻killed左各式salad,當中Caesar Salad既cheese and baked bacon挺出色,更特別愛上蟹肉柚子沙律,有再添呢!
Smoked salmon with sour cream 很正,但也不及肥美的鯛魚刺身,令我想起心愛卻因油魚事件禁售的白玉豚!有encore。 Pama Ham唔錯啊,有encore。無奈或因上個月影pre-wedding pic時稍微改了習慣,唔夠胃口去食多些呢。
燒西冷及烤羊一向不是我杯茶,但今次燒西冷算是不錯了,可以一試。 烤羊很dry,令我諗起埃及苦行的地道菜。 我還是喜歡自家製煎羊架多些,嘻嘻。
Indian Curry不差但非我杯茶,我只食少少便算,但必須稱讚配curry的薄餅是非常crispy!
鮮露荀好甜,焗茄子很香很cream但有些膩。鴨胸普通。 三文魚toast本身好好味但若toast可以再脆些便好了。
海鮮炒飯食材很靚,可惜無keep heating所以涼了,浪費功夫,相信熱食更好。
Last but not least,dessert comes。Chocolate brownie帶點金色閃碎好靚,好細滑,細細件教我心動。Raspberry Chocolate mousse cake 混有酒香,餅底酥脆好味。印尼奶球幾特別,像雪糕,很啱我這milk lover。Bread pudding是我以往嘗過的之中最出色的,不可錯過。椰汁西米布丁好滑溜。Tiramisu都幾好,而焦糖波蘿片不算特別但挺有趣的。新鮮雜果配熱情果汁很fresh很繽紛,滿足我呢d sweet tooth,honey不禁再添多杯。 還有多款dessert都很吸引… 各淺嚐一口已叫我飽得想再食也不行了。
可能人大了胃口又小了,我倆不太好愛buffet,所以此類精品式self-serve dining輕鬆又causal就最合意。雖然整體食物款式不多,但淺嘗每款仍令我倆飽呆了。那些先生/小姐不時巡視清理桌子,又視乎情況主動更換新的刀叉,服務體貼。
4) Drinks:
Our celebrating drinks come finally: 心花Cappuccino與泡泡Latte。 Cappuccino幾香濃也讓我看得心花怒放,Latte泡泡很rich & smooth creamy,honey卻嫌奶香過重。兩杯drinks好大杯喝不完呢!
5) Enjoy again:
Blue Bar 環境愜意,透過落地玻璃細賞陽光小雨風雲驟變,高廈半埋雲中,外面車輛頻繁與此刻寧靜閱讀構成對比。我倆或是互相揶揄趣事、或是細味這十年情,展望未來。此刻共聚最是無價。
出lobby拿車已見valet預備好大仔。上車後,兩位valet同一時間絲毫不差輕關我們大仔的一雙車門,十分專業令人驚喜!Valet目送我倆離去,服務令人感到圓滿。 OK, next destination’s 1881 Heritage。
Next year, we shall have got married and visit Blue Bar to enjoy again!
