I'd stumbled across this restaurant purely by accident, whilst escaping into Harbour City to avoid the rain... And its dinner set that night sounded amazing.

I had chosen the dinner set:
Starter - "Pan fried scallop with baby spinach lemon cream sauce" - Scallops were undercooked.

main - "Grilled king prawn, saffron sauce and black ink risotto" - King prawn was over-grilled. Risotto however was cooked to perfection and tasted exquisite.

dessert - "chocolate mi-cuit with vanilla ice cream"
 - Chocolate Mi-cuit (aka molten lava cake) was a disaster. Which french chef serves molten lava cake that tastes like THAT?? Even the ice cream couldn't make up for the horrible molten lava cake.
HOW DARE YOU SERVE THAT HORRIBLE EXCUSE OF A CHOCOLATE MOLTEN LAVA CAKE?!?!

If I were to base this meal entirely on their set dinner... I'd have walked out of this restaurant or sent back the food. But I didn't want to spoil my mood any further.

HOWEVER, my partner ordered dishes off the menu, as he didn't feel up for the set dinner.

For starters, he'd ordered:
"Wild mushroom and black truffle cappucino soup" - hands down the BEST mushroom soup I've had in a long long while.

"Smoked duck breast salad" - Good, nuff said.

Main - "Le croissant burger" - It was a very different take on burgers that somehow turned out well.

All in all, I'd say I was disappointed in my set meal. WHOLEHEARTEDLY REGRET choosing their set dinner. Definitely NOT a bang for your buck.
Why am I paying so much for undercooked and overcooked food and a molten lava cake that's bleargh?

And come on, u can bake a croissant but u can't bake a molten lava cake? WHAT?

Other Info. : DON'T WASTE MONEY ON SET MEALS! Better to order off the menu. DON'T WASTE MONEY ON THE CHOCOLATE MI-CUIT!
