Found this restaurant that have italian staff and had a lunch set menu with friendly price. As a Carbonara lover, I had to get inside to see if they actually made authentic pasta. The results was up to my expectation, tho not made with handmade pasta, still, it's definitely the one that you would find in Italy eatery. The salad was topped with a big scoop of ultra creamy stracciatella cheese, which is a combination can't fail, especially with the rich balsamic vinegar.

Tho it may not look yellowy as the Carbonara you may expected, it actually was the one made with the real authentic ingredients, just egg, guanciale, pecorino Romano and black pepper. The diced guanciale was pan-fried to crispy and its aroma was maximized, while its saltiness went along with the cheese to bring the umami to the pasta. The black pepper was generously sprinkled onto the dish but didn't excessively heat up the sauce. Tbh, it may not be the Carbonara most hkers liked, but for me, this one has brought me back to italy and definitely made it into my few top pasta places in hk.

Small cup of creamy and silky mascarpone cheese, topped with choco powder and with a stick of crispy lady finger. Not quite the typical layered one but still tasted good.

Tho it's not the right time for having the italian morning drink, but I wanted to see if they serve nice coffee. The cappuccino had a full thick foam layer, and was velvety and smooth. The espresso base had nice fragrant and made the whole drink well balanced.
