「護國菜」通常都係係潮州宴會先會食,平時打冷的確少見。今日去鰂魚涌呢邊,順便食埋晚飯先返屋企。係潮州酒樓,一入坐就會奉上「工夫茶」醒一醒神先至叫嘢食。湯就叫咗護國菜、鹹菜花蛤湯,兩款都係潮州湯羹,前者上湯味濃,醇滑,後者咸鮮味重。滷水鵝片有打冷之中.滷水鵝片的確係王道。肉質鮮嫩,配上一碗潮州白粥更佳厚菇芥菜煲包心大芥菜又係潮州特產,呢肉上湯、厚花菇煮嘅大芥菜,又淋又入味。頭抽煎鷹䱽魚片䱽魚以鷹䱽最貴,起用成魚片,再用頭抽煎到乾身,肉質結實,魚味香濃,非常惹味
