To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今早去油街影相, 影完去好想食好耐嘅南記芫茜米線,之前睇有D食評話好難食,如果喜歡食芫茜嘅人應該吾太抗拒...我叫左芫茜米線+芫茜可樂 (茜樂),米線有芫茜、2舊炸豬扒、1隻皮蛋、4件炸豆卜及3粒芫茜丸...起初我買時見可加$3鮮芫茜,但當時我冇,到出去攞時見:原來成碗芫茜係已整熟左,變左出嚟賣相同宣傳吾同....湯底有芫茜味, 吾錯,豬扒炸得過火左D,'鞋"同硬了,其他配料都OK....至於個茜樂,我覺得幾得意,有芫茜果D嘅草味,好似飲緊蔬菜汁加可樂的味道...整體都算吾錯...下次應該會加$3 鮮芫茜加強個芫茜味....P.S: 我於9/6/22 去CBY南記再食,加左$3 鮮芫茜,原來都係熟上...吾知係咪要REQUEST 生上架呢?
