To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

舊年公司週年飯改咗新制,同事無需跟老細一齊,可自行出去食番餐,所以去咗灣仔嘅萬麗咖啡室(Cafe Renaissance),寫咗篇題為「老細出錢我哋出力.四傻喪食」嘅食評(http://www.openrice.com/restaurant/commentdetail.htm?commentid=2313751),今年再接再厲,週年飯再度出擊,繼續喪食 ,依次睇住老細俾嘅預算,揀咗尖沙咀嘅馬哥孛羅咖啡廳 (Cafe Marco),貪佢平日可以食到10:00pm !其實餐廳唔細,據「開飯喇」嘅資料座位數目有成250,可能爭取多啲空間,連個蠔吧及壽司、魚生檔都擺埋晌門口度,而整個食物區,幾組食物枱,兩個開放式廚房,都集中晒晌近入門口嘅位置。以一間5星酒店而言,餐廳內嘅枱櫈排得有點密,裝修亦沒有多大特色。4人嘅餐枱,顯然仲有啲啲細,尤其食自助餐,擺多一、兩樣一齊分享嘅食物晌枱面,已經逼爆咁滯。 沙律.冷盤小食 沙律選擇唔喺好鼎盛,調製好嘅沙律只有4款,如法式吞拿魚沙律、希臘沙律……等等,再加7種沙律菜配8款左右配料、4款醬汁。不過,都夠砌一份豐富嘅沙律,況且,沙律菜夠新鮮,入口索索

沙律選擇唔喺好鼎盛,調製好嘅沙律只有4款,如法式吞拿魚沙律、希臘沙律……等等,再加7種沙律菜配8款左右配料、4款醬汁。不過,都夠砌一份豐富嘅沙律,況且,沙律菜夠新鮮,入口索索聲,再加少少煙肉碎、巴馬臣芝士粉,撈啲意大利油醋,都可以清新味美。

海鮮精選

海鮮凍盤始終喺一間賣自助餐餐廳嘅聚焦點,有啲人評價一餐自助餐正唔正,好多時都以海鮮嚟衡量,雖然多少較為片面,但始終都可睇成一個指標。依度海鮮包括:長蟹腳、翡翠螺、加菲蟹、甜蝦、蜆、青口、波士頓龍蝦,再加埋近門口嘅生蠔專櫃,相信咁嘅陣容,都唔會有太多挑剔。雖然,有唔少人排拎海鮮,但貨源供應足,都無咩缺貨,而生蠔新鮮即開,每次限攞兩隻,嚟嘅斯文人居多,所以,排隊井然有序。捧番碟海鮮精選拼盤埋位慢慢嘆,樣樣都好好食,尤其長蟹腳、甜蝦、龍蝦、生蠔,食完一口海水鮮味

波士頓龍蝦除有烚熟凍食嘅龍蝦凍盤外,仲晌開放式廚房增設「即煮活美國波士頓龍蝦」,亦喺全場最多人排嘅檔位,可算喺亮點之最。大型玻璃格內存放十數隻波士頓龍蝦,隻隻冰鎮住仲郁郁吓,即劏即煮,烹調需時,想食就要排吓隊
。每次限攞半隻,可拌蕃茄荷蘭汁、香辣茄汁或 荷蘭汁,實在芳香鮮甜,尤其蟹鉗位,大大啖鮮龍蝦肉,爽呀,所以,跟住一陣食熱盤時再追加半隻

熱盤.澳洲和牛

熱盤相對好多星級酒店嘅自助餐少,印象中大概十數款左右:咖喱、蒸魚、時菜、牛仔骨、牛肉卷、炒薯仔、焗帶子、炒飯、炒麵,因為影熱盤時,想逐樣影相存記錄而被疑似經理阻止,佢咁怕人知佢哋有咩熱盤,咁我都無謂晌度多講。一份綜合熱盤,樣樣執啲,但重點喺個即煎澳洲和牛(配菜有扒意大利青瓜、車厘茄、香草烤薯),以及翻兜嘅即煮波士頓龍蝦。啲和牛又喺即點即煎,外層焦脆,但內裡仍然粉嫩腍滑
,就算唔喺試晒所有熱盤,單以眼前依份「主菜」,食得叫人超滿足啦

一起手無打算食魚生、壽司,因為魚生一般都喺嗰兩、三款大路嘢,壽司更舊舊飯,太易飽肚。不過,同事話啲珍寶帶子刺身好掂,所以,最後我都無執輸要番一客,另加幾片吞拿魚。的而且確,啲珍寶帶子又大又厚肉,最緊要喺非常鮮甜,正

甜品

殺咗咁多碟嘢,都接近尾聲,又喺甜品時間。咪以為啲甜品一張大圓形食物枱睇晒(亦有生果盤),入啲仲有一座Movenpick雪糕櫃,足有10款口味,而雪糕櫃前又放咗唔少五顏六色嘅馬卡龍。因為被人話過唔可以逐樣嘢影,所以,今次甜品嘅款式都唔可以描述得太詳細。

依度唔興果汁汽水任飲,只包餐茶1杯。小弟要咗一杯鮮奶咖啡,齋睇表面嘅奶泡及嗰幾滴咖啡痕,就知只喺機沖嘅貨色,講唔上好,亦唔算差,咖啡個味道無咩太大問題,只可以話個質感唔夠豐厚,奶泡跟咖啡唔夠「勻巡」。

星期五晚嘅自助晚餐成人收$558,另加一,不過指定信用卡又有番85折,最後折實為$530一位,其實一啲都唔平。若硬要跟舊年嘅萬麗咖啡室比,我就鍾意萬麗多啲
