1) Salad: ok
2) Sashimi: 6 pieces of salmon, ok
3) Scallop: quite big, but not the jumbo size. The chef said the flavor of scallops is lighter, so better eat it first. It tasted fresh and sweet! I love it!
4) Tiger shrimps: the meat was firm and sweet. Surprisingly, the shrimp heads had a lot of meat too. The chef was thoughtful in a sense that he knew I didn’t eat beef, so he gave both heads specially to me. Hahaha
5) Angus beef: once the light was out, the chef added some alcohol onto the steak, and fire burst up high. Wow!! Exciting!!! This big piece of steak was cut up into big chunks and then served with garlic slices. My bf said it’s not as tender as filet, but so far so good.
6) 龍利柳: a big one cooked with herbs. Nice and crispy.
7) Fried rice: the chef used the fat from the steak to cook it as the fat can add to the flavor of the rice. He asked if I minded, I said no (actually I was too full that my stomach had no room for one full bowl of rice. haha). You could actually see the each of the rice ‘jump’ ! funny!!! But it was a bit too dry for me. I prefer more sticky rice.
8) Stirred –fried vegetables: ok
9) Fish soup: nice! Just like our mothers’ recipe.
10) Dessert (egg pudding): light, very smooth, it just went straightly into your stomach. It’d be perfect if it’s sweeter
Their service was good! The staff was polite and thoughtful, trying to address your needs as much as possible. The chef was thoughtful and willing to chat. As for the price, their price is reasonable compared to other restaurants in TST or HK island.
Overall speaking, the food was nice and the chef’s ‘show’ was cool, making it a wonderful dining experience.
