To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

嚐過「品穀」的BAGEL,引發了我對這種包的興趣,更開展了尋找美味BAGEL之路呢!「品穀」位於佐敦,地鐵站走過去約五、六分鐘左右,地點不算難找。甫進店內,得悉店家所用的都是無添加材料,而且全手工製作,烘培地方亦設於店內,食客可以透過玻璃看到麵包製作過程。BAGEL外型比較平實,一直提不起興趣試試,是次來到「品穀」,看看到一個個BAGEL以傳統方式掛起來存放,吸引了我買了兩個。店鋪很貼心,提供翻熱服務讓食客可即時品嚐,唯現場並不設用餐區,還是選擇了外帶。其中一款是抹茶納言比高,翻熱時先以焗爐以130度烘了3分鐘,微溫的BAGEL帶著淡淡的抹茶香氣。吃下去外層帶嚼勁內層煙韌,抹茶微澀味道配偏甜紅豆及其他餡料很不錯。另一款是原味貝果,口感和綠茶的接近,味道比較清淡,能更細緻吃到優質材料和感受到師傅的手藝。
