Restaurant: Jashan Celebrating Indian Cuisine

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 最近好友搬到中環,為新居打點得七七八八,說要找間坐得舒服的餐廳,就在OR主頁看到這印度菜,雖然已經開了一段時間,不過似乎最近都熱起來,通常在尖沙咀吃印度菜都是重慶格局,一於試試中環格局的,街景一流,冷氣夠,有梳化卡座,不過價錢就肯定相對貴一點先來Welcome Food,南瓜味很重的湯品,比想像中甜美出色 一說到吃咖哩的飲品,我們皮毛的知識都即時想起Mango Lassi,不似用鮮芒製,但濃濃的甜味可能與香草味濃的菜式作一個平衡平日晚上人流不多,身邊都是印度人,坐得舒服又靜,聽著音樂是傾計的好地方 炸芝士條 [$68]的外皮非脆身,不過茅展芝士軟軟的,是個很好的頭盤,如果新鮮熱辣外脆內軟就更好我們點了一個羊肉的Kebab [$148],很多人以為Kebab = Wrap,其實都只是形容烤的肉,先將羊肉打蓉加入香料再搓成卷物烤熟切開。香料味勝於肉味,愛重口味菜式的朋友一定會喜歡 另一道是高度真心推介的 青檸椰子烤雞 [$128] - 金黃焦脆的外皮,青檸味濃,但不失椰子香,真心配合,忽然想起這個可撈幾碗白飯,又或者撈丁都會好夾。這些時候用上香料才是皇道,下次自已煮雞扒都可以考慮Garli

Garlic Naan [$28] - 大大大愛的印度食品,乾身微脆,雖然掃上油但配合起大量蒜味,可惜我個這個晚上沒有點咖哩,否則點咖哩可能比白飯更出色

沒有吃得太飽,也想多點甜品一試,Green Cardamon Rasmalai [$58] 是凝固了的甜奶包上銀箔,浸在甜奶中,甜度爆燈,自問是超甜魔的一定會喜歡,還有不少開心果碎增加口感
