To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 窩夫與蝦子餅早前常在旺角出沒,某天突然想吃火鍋,便再度光顧火水爐。火鍋任食套餐跟之前吃過的不一樣,正價時段每位258元,限時150分鐘。另加醬油費每位12元。去火水爐吃任食套餐前記得要訂座,否則便吃不到招牌鮑魚麻辣雞煲。雞煲上桌後要煮5分鐘,窩夫與蝦子餅點的辣度是BB辣,十分惹味。邊吃雞煲,邊選火鍋湯底和配料。火鍋的湯底選了招牌特濃沙嗲鍋,沙嗲湯充滿花生的香味,香而不辣,一試難忘。湯底裡加了大量豆卜的大蔥,吸盡沙嗲湯的豆卜很好吃呢。除了湯底裡的豆卜,蜂巢豆腐和脆炸響鈴都是吸湯的好材料。薄切的西班牙黑豚豬肉口感一點也不硬,不比牛肉遜色。美國安格斯牛並非一般任食火鍋的貨色,非常大塊,而且切得比較厚身,肉味特別濃,蝦子餅吃了很多呢。炸魚皮跟上次一樣出色,香脆可口。二人前的時令海鮮拼盤,有蝦、蠔和蜆等,全部都很新鮮。吃過肉和海鮮後,要吃些唐生菜。墨汁墨魚丸和玉米貢丸比較少見,值得一試。牛柏葉、豬皮和水魷都是熱門的火鍋配料。因為太喜歡那沙嗲湯底而點了一個烏冬。
